In my limited experience the worm will get into some keyways that the bogata can't quite get into and the worm will have a bit more room to move if you rock it while raking. Sparrows says the dark shift picks are designed for rough conditions and even for when you must wear gloves, ergo the shape and width of the handle and what they call the index marker on the top of the handle. Good review.
Great review👍 The picks looks very light and to me it seems like the profiles are for rapid covert entry, very cool set😎 Have a great day my friend👍😀✌️
Always appreciate you stopping Key, much appreciated. After I put a few hours under my belt with them I realized the increased feedback compared to a regular sparrows tuxedo blank
Thanks Tony, my initial impressions are good. I was telling a few people in the comments that after putting a couple hours in with them and got used to them the feedback was amplified it felt like.
It's a solid set that's for sure. I took a gamble with this set assuming it was your garden variety set with a detailed handled but turns out it works pretty well. Thanks for watching and commenting I always appreciate those.
I have a set and I thought the same thing that they are light and feel really nice in the hand. They do get a little uncomfortable due to the sharp edges if you used them for a little bit when practicing. I use them as my light EDC
Good detailed review on Sparrows Dark Shift. The set seems to have the most useful picks with no filler picks you would never use. Good value as well. What are the details on the Friday give-a-way? Any secret words or comments/like requirements?
Interesting grip profile. The serrations seem ideal for those in North America but less well placed for this side of the pond, with our 'upside down' keyways.
I have this kit. It is awesome for some reason I find the picks way stronger for some reason. I love everything about this bar the sandman. I don’t hate it, but I haven’t found it very useful. Nice video as always. 👍🇦🇺🍻
I’ve been planning on getting this set. It’s a more rake heavy set. I’m not sure why Sparrows didn’t add in their snake (best buster) pick though. I’m also going to get the expansion set and a set of warded keys to round it all out. I travel around my state for my job. Our site managers often change locks on our properties and don’t send the main office copies. So I end up having to open the locks in order to get working. Raking takes far less time than SPP. So I figured this set would be compact and do more for me than the Tuxedo set would. After your review, I think it will be money well spent.
You should check out/review the dark shift expansion set that includes a knife, another rake, wafer lock picks, just found it on their site under the military picks, looking forward to it's arrival!
the expansion kit is pretty darn cool too, i bought the original purely because i love all things sparrows, but it rounds it off nicely. bit upset tho because i emailed sparrows with specs for a new kit, but they told me it would be too expensive to make, but then they musta spent a dollar or two on the new bosnianbill/lpl disc detainer picks, but im happy to see them though to replace the crappy chinese ones most of us own now and have to modify.
this is one of my favourite sets, the expansion set is well worth getting as well.
Wow! What a cool set!
I enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it. Thanks for watching and commenting NurseMike it means a lot buddy
Really nice set and nice quick open! I have the Dark shift and it's a cool set. I look forward to seeing your next video :)

I like this set, feels good in the hand. Usable with thin gloves too.
I get a ton of feedback I would not otherwise get which surprised me the most
I have this set and I love it!
Nice looking kit

Thanks for watching and commenting. I put some sand paper on them and got a couple hours with them under my belt and did very well.
Great set & very popular from UKLP 👍
Initial impressions are pretty good as for UKLP they are always good!
I'm 3 years late, I think these are a premium set, I'd say it's a must buy for lock heads 👍

John Fox you just have to watch Fridays video and you know the secret word already :)
Nice review my Friend
Thanks appreciate you watching and commenting. I know you have this set so you know what they are like :)
@@LegalLockPicker yes and they are great
Yeah they do look like a nice set, thanks for sharing.
Yes, turns out it's a pretty decent set. I'll update when I get more hours under my belt with them. Thanks for watching

Does anyone know roughly the length of these picks
