I just made two puff stitch hats. One was a slouch stitch beanie with a ribbed bottler and the other is just a ribbed puff stitch beanie. I got compliments on them the first tine I wore them. I like yours, however, I think I’ll try it!!
This hat is super cute. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much 😘
(Referring to the “funky” newsboy hat in a previous video). This is the BEST crochet newsboy hat I’ve seen so far. Following your very clear tutorial, I’ve made two of them and they came out perfectly. And I’m new to crochet. Thank you soooo much for this video. I also purchased the pattern because I love this hat so much. ;)
Thank you so much for your support. I'm so happy that you like the hat. You are now a crochet Veteran

Thank you, Denise 🥰
Nice explanation! Ur rocking!
Wooooo! Love this! So adorable:)
Thank you ♥️
Hi, I love the pattern, but it would have been nice to have the measurements for each section. I chose to go with the smaller hook all thru because I was having a terrible time with my yarn splitting and the larger hook not co-operating. I'm making a guess that the first section is about 5" across. Since the increase rounds are simple (each round has an increase of 7 stitches) I think I'll keep increasing to about 5 or 51/2" then I'll come back for the sides.
I'm sitting right here debating..should I start this hat...? 🤔I have lots of yarn. Seems like you're very clear with your instructions. I'm gonna give it a go! 😁
this is one of my favorite styles of hats. My daughter stole this one.
@@LittlejohnsYarn 😊👍 new sub here!
Absolutely Fabulous 👌🏼
I love this hat! I would love to make this for my mother! I have two questions!
1. Can I make the brim without the buttons?
2. I think my mom’s head is slightly bigger than an average 21-22in head. Could I increase my hook size or would I have to increase a row?
Love it!!
Thank you❤😘😘😘
I love this hat but I have crocheted more than 14 rows to make it slouchy. I have Super Saver Ombré 10oz yarn. What type of yarn did you use?
Made this one too!!!!🥰💯✔🥳 tfs!
VERY CUTE..⚘💖
I made the cap w the
hook size rec...but it came out much smaller 🤔 any idea's?
Just found this video. I like this hat. What yarn are you using? Cheers!
I love it 💘💘
I enjoyed this tutorial very much. I would like to find out the name of the red heart yarn you used, I love the colors!
I believe it's called pink camo.
I made this hat according to the tutorial and it turned out as a quite small sized hat. It would have been good to know that it is a size small hat, so that I could have modified the pattern to fit my size early on in the tutorial.
This is an adult size hat. Everybody crochets at a different tension period your attention may be tighter than mine. I have a 22 in head circumference.
it could also be because of your yarn gauge! you’re using smaller sized yarn compared to something on the chunkier size, you can still follow a pattern to a T but get a completely different size.
Thank you for the tutorial I'm saving this as a future project. I'm yarn shopping soon so I was just wondering how many skeins I needed. You said you used 2 skeins of the red heart SS. So the project requires 728 yards of the worsted weight yarn?
mine came out tight on the head, so it looks more like a cloche hat. the yarn I used said 4 weight but i think it was thinner! I'll make another one with thicker yarn so it looks like the hat in our picture.
I love this hat! can anyone tell me the finished size? As in measurements? I don't see it on the written pattern either. I would love to try to downsize it some for my niece. I think it would be sooo cute on her!
My very first crochet piece
Thank you! 🦋
You're welcome 😊
Very nice 💓
I enjoyed your video do you have one on Newsboy hat?
Is this suitable for any age? Pls reply
Hey Littlejohn's Yarn, hope you are well. I absolutely love this hat and made it for myself last December. Want to make it for a friend but the written pattern link is not working. Can you please provide the right link for the pattern? Thank you so much!
Found it on your website - littlejohnsyarn.com/adult-crochet-hat-pattern
Omg. Give me a moment to fix it, so sorry
Here it is littlejohnsyarn.com/adult-crochet-hat-pattern/
What color way is that yarn? I love and would like to get some! I am totally going to make this hat !
I found it, pink camo. I bought some and some cute white heart shaped buttons, I am ready to go!
If I crochet tight should I go up a hook
Yes❤️
6:42😊
Beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you 🥰
I just finished and it's wayyy too small for my head 😢😢😢😢
So you don’t have to frog it. If you used acrylic yarn, you can lightly kill the fabric. In order to do this place a damp clothe on the opening of the hat. Then lightly steam it with an iron and I mean LIGHTLY. Then gently stretch the opening. Be careful if it’s stretched too much you won’t be able to shrink it back.
If you do the pattern again go up a hook size. This will increase the size of the hat.
🙏👍👋
