Emma is the gem I was always looking for music wise.
A complicated and EXTREMELY talented soul. I wish her all the happiness in the world.
I met Emma at her merch table on tour with Alcest when they stopped in Vancouver. We talked about Red Sparowes and Marriages, and I was trying not to be a gushing fanboy. But she was super nice to me and very down to earth, and I really appreciated that. I hope she comes back soon, we miss ERR north of the border.
There is something so true and real about this woman. She breathes "life" or "the earth" or something. It kind of dazzles me how much i love her music. While this is so far from what i usually listen to. Its really amazing to feel like drifting into a peaceful place...
Emma has a hella good shirt collection.
I got Heavy Oceans, Marked for Death and On Dark Horses on loop for the past 8 months since I saw her perform in Montreux, just magical.

What I love most about Emma, apart of being a great artist, is how down to earth she is. A true queen without being a diva, that's priceless. Her music is as touching as Nick Drake's, so honest and beautiful and humble. I will never be thankful enough for having discovered her art, when I listen to her music, I never feel alone.

I've played as an opening act for Emma last summer in France, and it was the best evening for me. To play, and watch her solo performance right after that. She inspires me a lot.
I'm sure she doesn't remember me but I've met Emma a handful of times at her shows and she's one of the kindest and most interesting and creative people I've ever had the fortune of having a conversation with <3

Have so much for her music. Got to see her with Chelsea Wolfe in Germany last year and it was almost as if time stoped. When I saw her and that second I heard her voice in front of me, I was honestly fighting tears. Like I can’t describe the feeling her music gives me. Honestly it’s changed my life completely. Have to see you again.
