I don't know that many people with my last name, let's look her up" and it I did-- and I went to the show and it was freaking awesome, and that's the story of one of the best musical discoveries of the 20-teens for me. Evan Patterson on guitar and Todd Cook on bass were in an awesome psych rock band in Louisville called Old Baby. They were awesome. Only a couple EPs though.

I saw her with Red Sparowes, as well. It was in London about 10 years ago and it happened to be her birthday. The band got us to sing Happy Birthday to her and she got very embarrassed. According to their Wikipedia page, they've come off hiatus and they were supposed to play Roadburn, this year, but it was obviously cancelled due to Covid. It also says that they're working on a new album.

What a cool place. At first i thought there was a late sunset but that was a ceiling reflection on the window 🤪. Great tracks, fantastic atmosphere and outstanding quality. Emma was looking so pretty with the hairstorm and sparkles around her eyes. All that - honey for a soul.
@@moondawg3693 her voice is among the instruments, rises when it needs to, then hides in the mix when the melodies come. The voice must not always be the leading instrument. I think this really captures the dynamic and the emotions better than brickwall the vocals and glue it to the speakers...

Emma Ruth Rundle for ever. Her voice is soooo ugh. Something about that tenor, it’s woody yet rough and deep but gentle and resonating.
