From the car community. Thank you sir!
Glad he at least mentioned the external crank pulley trigger. Did something like that for a 1970 CB450. Ran it with a P59.
Nice work, Kyle. Good info.
Good you actually paid attention to the firing orders . Not an internal programming thing but true , pin outs differ . Also, big difference in Hall effect and it being analog or digital ( inductive) .
Good video !
Never assume, especially on firing orders
@@GoatRopeGarage can you do a video about the XLR ecu? It's the black one with 3 plugs on it
@@GoatRopeGarage I'm only asking cus I want to see if the XLR would be better then an e40 ecu?
A lot of great information. Thanks Kyle. This is the stuff that is hard to find.
Man I was waiting for a weather forecast on the green screen 😂🤣......and over here you can see it's boost weather 👍
Next time! It's warm, get out and drive!
Good info there. Was unaware of same ECUs using different pinouts.
Thank you I have a long way togo
This is the first time I've heard the firing order is hard set in the ecm, or maybe that's not what you mean. Did you have to move pins for firing because your using a Corvette OS? If so, why not use the XLR-V OS? I am just a little confused.
Nope, the pins are the firing order, if you use the XLR-V or the Corvette the pinout remains the same for the N* but changes for the LS to match the firing order for that engine. I thought I had to move the pins when I looked up the Corvette pinout because the cylinder numbers were listed differently but then I looked it up and realized the pinout matched the physical firing order so it's not something changed in the ECM.
can you use a e67 to run and 06 LS2 58X with 4l80e or 6l80e as oppose to the e80 and tcm?
Theoretically as long as the crank and can signals are correct for the ECU you should be able to use it
was hoping you lit that shitbox on fire...now that would get some views. Carry on...🤣
Did you have any problems getting the vcxnano software loaded? I keep getting .any help would be great.thanks
Nope, but make sure your launch the manager and install the drivers/software listed in there
@@GoatRopeGarage ok. Thanks again.
Not trying to highjack but For anyone wondering about vcx nano running windows 10. If your not connecting look at click on bottom right of screen and make sure windows antivirus is not blocking it. I about went crazy trying to get it to work. This really is a good tool though and works flawless for j2534 reprogramming.
