My choice has been Herdez Salsa Casera. Certain brands use a bit of vinegar which produces an acrid taste. Didn't make that mistake twice and yes, I'm still miffed about a ruined batch of guac.

Terry Myers - My point being that you came across as if you thought that he was trying to make guacamole with comments like, "If you cant make a de-lish guac here you couldnt be in my galley. Period." and "I can forgive you not including cilantro" which is what guacamole usually has in it.

Really the only things you're missing for a full on guac are onion, jalapeno, and cumin powder. (and cilantro/coriander if you're into that sort of thing.. sane people aren't :D) Sometimes the simpler the better though, can't go wrong with the basic version! Looks good!

Ripper avo dip! As a kid I would go face-down in a bowl of guac and/or make a sandwich with a hotdog bun. I was a competition swimmer and was constantly looking for calories. Avos were my favorite high-fat content but with the droughts in California they became mighty expensive. My brother lives on Kauai now and has huge avos and mangoes growing like weeds all around his place. Bastard...

I like your style and I like your recipe and will try it. But you are mistaken in your final words. You said "Hasta la próxima tiempo. This is a common mistake with English speakers. In Spanish, there are two words for "time." One is "tiempo" and the other is "vex."
Tiempo represents times as in the old times, as in these times.
Vez represents a number or times as in many times (muchas veces).
So when you say hasta la próxima vez? This means "until next time." If you say innstead, "hasta la próxima tiemo?" You are saying "until the next times (of our lives, of the old times before us, of the coming times if there are ever any).
You should say: "hasta la próxima vez": in the future.

A butter knife works just as good on an avocado as a chef's knife. No emergency room visit needed
