My mother was a 1950s hair stylist. Back then, the stylist did hair cuts and styles, nails, facials , perms, pin curls, rollers. She had blue/black hair (natural color). She wore it shoulder length her entire life (she died at age 83). She could pin curl her hair, while sitting in the living room, no mirror. It was always gorgeous. Your channel is fun.

My grandmother always pin curled her hair in between beauty shop appointments.. when my brother and I were young boys we’d stay at our grandmothers house sometimes.. after she washed her hair we’d be at the kitchen table handing her those clips and she’d use that pink dippity doo goo to set her hair.. I remember after she was done and her head full of all that metal she would shampoo our hair at the kitchen sink .. one time when she was shampooing me she said “maybe gramma give you hair curls”. I nearly sh*t trying to squirm my head out of the kitchen sink but she was just kidding .. I hated the smell of her shampoo she used on us it was too girly smelling .and once she used her old lady cream rinse on me.. she overdid it and took her forever to rinse it out of my hair ..such memories .

JennyMary00 hahaha. Yea! It is a lot of fun. Surprisingly I don’t giggle that much when I am filming. It is often when I look at the footage after, I crack up laughing and think “when and why on earth did I say that?” But I get lost in the moment. I am so glad you enjoyed it
