$150 for the tune alone. Easiest way is to just rent the tuner - www.ficmrepair.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=412/category_id=-1/mode=prod/prd412.htm. Hope this helps!
I have a 2006 f250 6.0 Hasn’t been bulletproof completely. I know it’s straight piped AirAid box egr delete I think..🤷♂️..Wondering which would be best the 40 or 80..my daily commute is mostly interstate 80mile round trip. I don’t do much city driving other than necessary. When I got the truck my life was different. Can’t do the things I wanted to when I got it. It’s my only vehicle and I live in a 30ft rv travel trailer.
The Eco tune carries 40RWHP less than the Atlas 40 does. These 40 ponies are measured-at-the-wheel numbers, but really only apply on a one for one if your truck does NOT have any sort of ECM tuning. If it does, the top end difference is closer to 10RWHP. Hope this helps!
There is a 40rwhp difference between these two tunes when no ECM tune is involved. Where an ECM tune is in play, the difference is still pronounced, but only at about 25% of the effect. In either case, the largest difference is in off-the-line throttle response between running a tuned vs untuned FICM.
If you use your truck the same way all the time, you don't need a tuner at all. You could save that cash and ship your ECM over to us to have us install a custom tune on it and save some cash!
Just installed the ficm with the 40 Atlas and everything is as presented here. All power codes cleared and runs perfect
What would it cost me to ship my 06 ficm in for repair and the atlas 40 ficm tune and be shipped back?
Throttle response is amazing with the 40 Atlas tune.
Glad you are loving it!! Hit us up for all of your Powerstroke 6.0 needs!
Highly recommend!!! the Alta 40
It's our most popular pick for a reason! Glad you are liking it!!
Can I still tow a 13000 pound trailer with the atlas 40 tune on my 6.0 powerstroke without fear of egts rising or is that unrealistic?
Will FICM tuning work with an in-line based tuner such as the Banks Power Six Gun?
Thank you, definitely getting soon!
What is the cost for atlas 40 tune if my Ficm is not damaged, Just stock? I’m interested
It’s 150 bucks plus shipping I believe

I have your FICM with an Atlas 40, what's the difference with the ECO tune?

Current doing head studs and external oil cooler. It sure which way to go for a tuner. I don’t tow just daily drive to work.
