It's always a pleasure to see and hear Van Morrison perform. I loved seeing these photos in this presentation! Van you are a handsome man, as well as an excellent singer and musician! Congratulations!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍♥️
Probably one of the greatest song writers and performers of his generation. His body of work is simply astonishing. I just listened to Astral Weeks. I had to remind myself that he was 22/23 yrs. old when he wrote that album. Thank you Ceccailif!
Probably??? Toss Pam into the Trough of Justice! If she sinks to the bottom, she's innocent - if she rises to the top, she's guilty and will have to be hung! Seriously, Pam - as a performer, there is nobody better, and very few that equal Van when he is "on". I have witnessed these "Van Moments" in concert quite a few times, and it's an unforgettable experience; almost as if Van is channeling another dimension.
@@acousticshadow4032 Sometimes, the Man, Van, takes himself way too seriously only in my humble estimation but so did the Stones, the Beatles, and Bob Dylan as time went on. He deserves more acclaim than he gets. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that he writes songs about Ireland and not America, or what, but this kind of grates on my nerves- the fact that he isn't more popular!
I think that I heard of this man before I went away on my long journey of walking and working my way around the world, I like his words and music, I will try and listen to more of his recordings in the coming weeks before I head off on my long never ending journey once again.
Have had the entire concert on cassette since the late '70s. Arklow is a real treat here. Does a raucous, Jordan-esque "Caldonia" in latter portion of set. Yet another great post, cec
This is a truy wonderful set. Some years ago - early to mid '80s he did a stint of concerts at The Dominion theatre in London. The night I went he did an exclusive solo acoustic show - no other musicians - Van also had to sit on a stool because he said he had injured his leg. I can't remember all the songs he played - unfortunately I don't think he did "Astral Weeks" or "On The Streets of Arklow" - both of which are great favorites of mine but he did do the most majestic version of "Madame George" which I had never heard live. It was a great evening. This version on the video is also very beautiful. Thank you VERY MUCH for posting.
Concordo plenamente e endosso com tudo que falei há 2 anos atrás! Parabéns! Felicidades hoje e sempre na sua linda carreira! Um abraço carinhoso de sua fã do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil ❤❤❤
Normally Van's management/lawyers would have this taken down. Is he leaving it up because of the virus? It feels like a gift to his fans to help us get through this awful time.
Who said that Irish people weren't greedy, too? I don't think Van needs any more money than he already gets. Perhaps, he should help the homeless out in Belfast - but that wouldn't be fiscally responsible.
I arrived early and filmed the second set with my Super8 video camera. Days later punks broke into my car and stole my Super8 video camera and tapes of the concert.
Wonderful performance with some musicians (James Trumbo, Jim Rothermel, Dahaud Shaar) of the timeless "Veedon Fleece", his second best album after "Astral Weeks". Thanks!
It is not oblivion. I love "Moondance". And "Saint Dominic's Preview". And "His Band And The Street Choir". And "Tupelo Honey". Even "Hard Nose The Highway". And, of course, "It's Too Late To Stop Now", the best live album of all time. But my two favorite are AW and VF. That simple.
A NICE GAY BUT HE SHOT STOP TO TAKE ALL THIS DRUG, S AND FIND LOVE THE REAL PLACES .HES PAIN COMING FROM SINGING AND HE CAN,T GO ON LIKE THIS WITH-OUT THE DRUGS
This is some set list! Outstanding!
What an incredible set! All of these are absolute favorites of mine.

Van the man. A bright star from that incredible period in music, from the early sixties, through the mid seventies.
Continues to the Century XXI, 2023!!!

I like the words tat you used to explain my Celtic cousin because they are true
You mean of all generations, I think. No one's generation is any better than the rest.

I've long been a Van junkie and addict.

This set is a gem!
Thanks Ceccailif. Your posting of Van Morrisons songs are always some of his best and your pictures really show the man and his music.
Just magical!

Thank you for posting. You are appreciated. ❤️Sir Van Morrison
Van the Man, Paradise on earth, now
I was at this show. It was so amazing when he came out and played songs from Astral Weeks. It was a fairly small theater and full of Van devotees.
I envy you. 😊 That version of Ballerina is just wonderful ❤
I dig ,what sounds like bongos with the flute or fife! Just beautiful!!!🙏🏼Thank you.
Always very good! Congratulations for this espetacular music and band! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍♥️🎶🌹

Sublime.
Enjoyable and entertaining. Thanks a lot. ❤️🎶
Beautiful stuff. I holding out hope that the Van live at the Catacombs in Boston, 1968 tapes will surface.
You can actually find two songs from the Catacombs performance on youtube. Madame George and Ballerina, if I'm not mistaken.
Rob OConnor I have the full album on digital, if you’d like I can send it over
@@jackshipley2031 that would be great: email me @ roboconnor2112 at gmail. Many thanks!!!
Gus Cooger okay I just sent it over. Hope you enjoy, let me know if you have any issues. :)
Jack Shipley Jack, any chance you could share with me? Many thanks

Ceccailif does it again! Are you sure you are not actually Van Morrison in disguise sharing your stash of wonderful memorabilia? Fantastico i Bravo!
I had the exact same thought....however, We'll savour these wonderful releases...whoever is publishing them
Thank you! Fortunately I'm not Van Morrison, so I can listen to him and enjoy his art
Many thanks

Where does this stuff come from? and why do you always seem to have access to it?!

Who are the backup musicians in this gig?
The street choir!
Hey ceccailif - do you by any chance have any connection with youtubers who also had great Van videos like TheVirgoClown?
I remember his channel, it was very beautiful. But I do not know who it was.
Would be perfect,if the sound quality was better.....
Still, great to hear the Master performing acoustically.
Cut us a bleeping break, JB! This is 1974 for crying out loud, you little diva.
I think this was recorded on a single mic in the audience, I don't think this is direct from the sound desk.
2024AD
Pity about the bassy sound.......
Pity you don't mention how good the rest of it is....
JB, Go powder your nose - if you can reach that high.
1974 recording.......?
For what I assume is an audience recording from the 70s, it's not bad
