Van has always played a major part my life and also influenced my children’s lives. I am 73 years young but his music was always lived in my house February 14, my son passed away with complications from Diabetes. For 13 months that was always all he played music on his computer with Bose speakers. He loved his music. This Fall I will go to his live concert in New York. I wish I could tell him personally how he lived in our livingroom and in my children’s homes after they all got married. Thank you, Van Morrison❤️
I only discovered his music recently I love it. So beautiful. I'm sorry for the loss of your son on Valentine's day I can not imagine the pain of losing a child and I pray I never do.
I am trying to put my life back together after death of my child at 19. I stopped feeling anything joyful. Then I went this Sept. to see Van live at Tanglewood and under the stars he sparked my heart. I'm not healed, no one who loses a child ever is, but he reached deep into my soul and reminded me I can still feel joy. I see so many messages from people who talk about him getting them through a hard time. I hope he knows.

When my mother passed i was listening to "Days like This". I swallowed a cookie and my dog and i walked along the beaches near my house. Fortunately there is a Bowlo on one headland and a pub on the next. So me and the dog walked the ocean path stopping here and there for a Coopers pale ale and the whole way Van was in my head saying "My Mumma always said there will be days like this".
