Yeah, not jealous!! You're going to have to come down and have a go on Pendine or Cefin Sidan on a big spring mate!! Waders need the Nike tick on them to fish these beaches!!
Thanks for posting Tom, it's like having a personal fishing coach for my local beach. Good job it's a long beach cos it's gonna get crowded if you keep catching fish like that.
Great video as always, don't know how I haven't seen this in the last month. I like how you use more scaled-down tactics for Rays. It's nice not to hear 3/0 plus hooks or the words pennel pulley while targeting them. I have seen the previous videos, but can't remember, what size hooks do you use for the Ray's? And do you feel that you still need to use a minimum 40lb snood from the beach or from the rocks? As this is what the more specimen youtubers seem to use.
Well I do use heavy snoods most of the time, they do have those rough pads in their mouths that can cut through thin line. It's important to match hook size to bait size and I honestly believe a lot of people use far too big baits for rays. Smaller baits will result in a better bite to hook up ratio.
Looks lovely down there, might pop down the shop and buy a pink cap. I’m comfortable in my sexuality, might even catch some more fish 😂 All the best Chris
hi tom you ok mate. love the channel and the vids , have been watching for a while now. you cant have enough tips cheers. i want to experiment with the bar rig up here on the humber. has your shop got website? All the best mate from grimsby north east.

I'd have to disagree with that one 😉 Hard backs catch fish too, but give me a nice juicy peeler crab any day of the week! Having said that the sprat out fished everything that night and that's one of the cheapest baits we sell!
Good work Tom looks a great venue where you're no running a half mile down send back with the tide!!
It's such an easy comfortable venue mate.

great video just a quick one the bar rig can you make them with mono and is it better to use a grip lead with them or a rolling lead
Yes you can make them with mono, they were originally a mono body 10 or so years ago before the bar.
You can use whatever lead you like on them.
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 brilliant is there an advantage to to soiled bar
@@01devilboy it's more stable and durable.
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 thank you I will invest in some 👌

Grab a few supplies and some crab and maybe do a comparison between the two
