    Just finished watching the video. That combination of being on a Good Weight + Great Range + Power (dual motor) & Speed is the Perfect Combination for me.
    The only thing missing from this scooter is actually a better Horn, & self-healing tubeless tires.

      Haha! Unfortunately, it’s not my neighborhood. I like to cruise around there from time to time and take in the tree lined streets. Super tidy there haha.

    Always a fantastic formula for your range tests! It would be interesting to see the DT1 and Punk Rider Pro compared. Similar weights and battery size and I remember the Punk Pro making it to the 35-ish mile mark. Of course the DT1 probably takes it in the speed and acceleration stats. I was going to say they're close in price but the Punk Rider Pro has increased quite a bit. I'm still pointing my brother to different options and I'd love to know which you enjoy more.

    Great video, great scooter. I've been using it also for daily commute, what an affordable yet powerful scooter.
    Can you make a video on removing the tires or Puncture-Proofing it? Hmmm

      What mileage range are you getting on a change?

      @@producer21207 I use it for work and to buy random foods from fastfood cravings, I get about 27-28 mileage on a single charge

      I’ll definitely make a tire removal video. Just waiting on the new tires. Should be here soon.

    Thanks for the review I was hoping it was going to make it 32

      Yah 32 would be nice. It’s likely very possible with a lighter rider.

    What would be a better choice between This Ausom and the Gotrax GX2?

    • @mikehagquist5198
      @mikehagquist5198 17 днів тому +2

      Both have 960wh batteries,go trax 48 v 20 vs 52 v 18. Probably have less issues with go trax but I would pick Austin dt1 pro. Faster and better brakes and display. I don’t have either one just my opinion

      The gotrax is way uglier, costs more and is slower. The choice is obvious

      The DT1 is going to slightly edge out the GX2 in top speed and acceleration. The GX2 is electronically limited to 35.7mph (about what Tom reached at 205lbs on the DT1), so size/weight won't matter as much on the GX2. If you're light, the DT1 will go faster.
      If you're going to be doing a regular amount of off-pavement riding, the GX2 has a substantially more sophisticated, pre-load adjustable, hydraulic suspension, shorter stronger links (especially at the front) and more travel. The box chassis is heavier and has a heavier stem but it also makes the GX2 about 8lbs heavier. If you're going to be riding in the wet, the GX2 has better fenders and is probably more water resistant. My GX3 is sealed up really well.
      Reliability is probably a wash but GoTrax likely did a ton of stress cycle testing on the stem whereas Titan just has a lot of scooter building history. The GX2 may also have higher amp controllers as well given it's so quick on 800 watt motors. This can often mean they last longer and do better in the heat... all else being equal.
      My Titan built Roadrunner RS5 Max (a more spec'd-out, distant cousin to the Ausom) is generally well build but my GX3 is more refined and industrial. The internals, wiring cleanliness and layout in the GX3 is superior and the design thinking is at least 2 years newer. The controller housings are better and more expensive as well.
