@@tomsgadgetgarage Wow, I usually use pedal assist 3 with pedaling. I never knew I can go so far. Actually it’s a great bike.

Yah I’ve really been enjoying mine so far. The auto gear shift is a huge plus. When I go back to my standard chain driven, derailleur equipped bikes, I almost feel like I’m using an antique 🤣.

Yah belt drives are definitely nice. Would be awesome if they offered it in more colors.

Yah I was happy with the range, especially out of a smaller, lightweight bike.

This bike has 672wh. 48v x 14 = 672wh.

@tosinadesina3137 My XP Lites have 7 AH batteries. The long-range battery was $500 alone, $200 extra if ordered with one. I have 2 XP Lite 2.0, and I bought an extra standard battery on black Friday for $175. I think the long-range battery was on sale for $300. I like the option to carry 2 extra batteries in a backpack or saddlebags for long rides. Happy new year!

So this one has a 48v 14Ah battery. So 672Wh of capacity. I was honestly surprised the 300W motor made it up the pedestrian bridge.

@tomsgadgetgarage It's a strong motor and very quiet. It gets to 20mph fairly quickly and rides smoothly and stable. I couldn't be happier with them.

For sure. I also like that you can tinker with the acceleration settings if you want a bit more of a boost. Definitely a solid bike, especially for the price. I’ve also found that it’s the easiest to fold of any of the folding e-bikes I’ve tested.

@tomsgadgetgarage happy new year! I've never gone below 2 bars yet. I weigh 150#, and I haven't figured out the total range miles yet. No, I haven't changed the battery on long rides yet, I haven't needed to. I will be doing longer rides soon. I love my ebikes.

Ha! That would be some epic range right there.

So bigger tires are usually preferable to smaller ones. They generally handle bumps in the road better given the larger volume of air in the tire. They also have more surface area touching the ground, which can improve stability and traction. With that being said, I haven’t noticed a difference between this 9” tire and my commuter scooters with 10” tires. There are lots of 9” tire scooters with 2” wide tires. This one has 2.5” width, so maybe that’s why I don’t notice a difference.

Let me know how your first ride goes. Be careful with the throttle in mode 3. It’s basically a mini rocket ship haha. I’ll be posting more videos on it soon. I was going to do a hill climb today but the whole button pad fix took longer than expected.

Thanks! Yah I didn’t expect that many miles haha. So the new button pad came in yesterday. Unfortunately, it had a female Julet connector instead of a male one. I ordered a male connector on Amazon and it got here this morning. I wanted to solder the new wire and connector to the new button pad directly, but the electrical board the wires attach to is glued into the plastic housing of new new button pad, with the wires being inaccessible. So instead I cut the wire down to length, and soldered the 5 individual wires together then used some heat shrink tubing on all five connections as well as in the bundle of wires. It was a bit of trial and error as the wire mapping was different than the stock button pad, but after lots of soldering and resoldering, I finally got it. Now it’s perfect :).

Thanks man! Yah this thing kept on going. Thankfully it’s winter and was about 60F out. If it was during the summer I wouldn’t have been very excited 😆.

Haha yah I was around 170 and running half and full marathons in early 2023. I had a gallbladder attack which derailed my running routine and I quickly got lazy. A few months later I started this channel and replaced running with scooting and ebiking haha. I’m also planning to drop back to 170 or less for health reasons and because I’m not wanting to buy new clothes. Yah hopefully there will be some dual motor reviews out soon. I’m considering buying the conversion kit for fun, but I’m honestly really happy with it in single motor. Throwing range anxiety out the window feels great 😊.

Yah I definitely wasn’t expecting that haha. As for the button pad, it did come in today but the connector is female. This is a problem because the connector on the scooter is also female. I order a male Julet adapter which will be here early in the morning. I’m just going cut the female adapter off the new button pad and solder the male one on and tidy it up with some heat shrink. Yah apparently they are shipping them sometime later in January. I’m sure reviews will probably start coming out soon. I may buy the conversion kit, not sure though because I love the single motor version.
