Can it Break 53 Miles? Tenways CGO600 Pro Range Test
Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽️😁👍🇺🇸
Would be cool if they had a breaking regeneration on that scooter.
Your in dual motor, correct?
Yup yup
This is BY FAR the most valuable test I've seen for this scooter. Accurate numbers, real endurance testing, that's amazing work ! Wish I could order in Europe with your link to support your channel I feel kinda bad about it :( again, THANK YOU !
Hey nice video thanks ! French guy here, it's crazy how sidewalks & bike lanes are so empty haha. Planning to get one by next week, by far the most honest review I've seen so far. The battery seemed to hold on quite well. Given the fact that mine will be locked at 25km/h due to laws here, think I can expect a bit more. Thanks again, ride safe :)
Hi Tom, first of all, thank you so much for those awesome videos 👍 ! I'm watching your videos from Germany and soon the new ZT3 pro will be released over here. Like to know if its worth waiting as both scooters seem to be in the same price range. Thanks for your thoughts on this and greetings to y'all 🤙🏻
oh bro the zt3 kills this scooter ngl bur you can get niu scooter for really cheap right now look for a discount code online too i got 60 dollars off 690 before tax 🫨🫨🫨
I do wonder, how big are the chances there will be some for of first or third party battery extension? I do really like the featureset and it's one of the few ones that's readily available around here, but I regularly communte ~23km and cannot reliably charge before going back.
I would love if you reviewed the tifgallop k8 and see if it really is an 50mph scooter
Do these scooters have a split rim? If not how hard was it to change the tires to the street ones? Im in the market and ausom was the first that caught my eye
the forks in front of the axel add more castor to the geometry which greatly improves high speed stability, but makes it less agile.
Hey is anyone also having the problem of not being able to put the tire back in because the brake rim keeps hitting the actual brake system and won’t go in
Wearing cute outfits...scooters would win here.
Hey there! back in 2020 I got an already used Mi m365 that has to be kicked to get up the hills here where I live. I realized with Christmas coming I should replace it. First time I bought a scooter I really didnt shop around but this time has been close to overwhelming! You helped me sooo much. Many thanks to you reviewers who go out there and sort out the good from the bad apples. A few days ago I was looking at the Vmax VX4, Teverun Blade Mini, an IO Hawk model... due to lack of water protection of the Blade Mini its out ( *correction* the Teverun Rep said IPX5.) The VX4 was close but not as convincing as the Punk Rider Pro(1400Euro/Germany) which I am now vying with the IO Hawk Phoenix(removable battery 1400 Euro/Germany).... feels like it's gonna be a close call! I loved my lil m365 but it's time for an UPGRADE! One of these two company's is gonna take my money!
Hello! Choosing the right one is always the challenging part haha. Both options will be a huge upgrade for hill climbing 😎.
Aloha Tom, I've seen the option for a second battery and was wondering if it's installed somewhere on the bike or if it's a switch out. Thanks, and great videos!
Hello! So for the ONE it’s going to be a switch out. It should fit in a saddlebag on the rear rack no problem.
Thanks for the speedy response! I'm looking at picking the ONE this Christmas with extra the battery.
I just ordered during Black Friday. Our first ebike. Belt drive and Pinion gearbox really sold it. Especially for my wife, simpler the better.
Congrats! I think you made a good choice. I bought mine as soon as they released it and it’s by far the best e-bike I’ve ever ridden. Enjoy!
what tools did you use in this video? could you provide a link?
Hello Tom, question how’s the customer service at Ausom ??? I haven’t heard from them in 3 1/2 weeks 😡 Only 1 email saying the DT 1 has shipped, and to this day no scooter or email !!!
Did they send you a tracking number? They mentioned the 26th as the delivery date, right? You’re the 3rd person to mention extended delays in email response. I haven’t heard anything about delays in shipping.
@ Yes they sent a tracking number, but it still shouldn’t take two weeks to arrive and they use the app called SHOP for tracking…And the app says it’s still sitting in Bloomington,California 😂 it’s been there since last wk 😂 I’m just going to cancel the order because this is sketchy
Yah Lectric E-bikes uses Shop as well. Copy and paste the tracking number into Google to go straight to FedEx or UPS site.
Anyone tried the cruise control? I heard from someone it doesn't work with the EU version.
My cruise control does not work. I finally opened a support ticket with Segway to see what’s going on.
5:15 thank you that is all I needed
Thanks for watching and have fun! 😎
Great review! This looks like it's living up to its Ausom name. It's only $1099 on their site for Black Friday. That coupon gives an additional $30 off and shipping is free. Wow! How reliable are the tires? I'm concerned about having to eventually change them out. Do you know how difficult that might be and an estimate of how much that would cost? I'm not sure if there's a place near me that would do that. A motorcycle shop, maybe? How much do you weigh? I really want to hit that top speed. I'm 5'10 and weigh 172. Thanks!
Thank you! I actually made a tire change video here ua-cam.com/video/OZv5WKusjDA/v-deo.html. This scooter uses split rims so it’s very easy. Just be sure to fully deflate the tires before trying to change them out. I’ve only had to deal with one flat so far. The tires are pretty thick which helps prevent flats. I weigh 203lbs with gear and can hit about 40 now on a full charge. Just need a good distance to hit the top speed.
Quick correction: I mentioned the dual motor version comes with a 60v 35Ah battery; it's actually a 60v 30Ah battery. 🛞Emove Cruiser V2 Pricing: www.voromotors.com/products/emove-cruiser-v2?ref=tdgxnwyo (affiliate link) Use coupon code TOMSGG
can you make other videos of how to attach a seat and a basket?
Great information, thanks, very nice bike
is it on both sides?
Hey! Unfortunately, it’s only on the left.
How cool is it that you can ride up and down a mountain like that and only use 1/3 of your battery.. Haha!! It's so fun to be able to just ride for hours without constantly having to worry about what's left in the fuel tank.
Oh for sure. With most of my other scooters, I’d never dare to begin the ride with less than 100% charge haha. I had so much peace of mind with the Cruiser V2. Normally I’m starting to calculate how much walking I’ll have to do and whether or not I’ll be home before my wife goes to work lol.
Hell yeah! 😎👊
Can the display be locked with code ?
Hell no!
Thanks Tom for your work on the channel! I think ive finally narrowed it down to the 300x or the VMAX VX4. This will be my only scooter so the price difference will be forgotten within a few weeks. Both have some pros and cons. Now i just need to decide. Thanks again!
Thank you for watching 😊. I haven’t personally tested the VMAX VX4, but I’ve heard great things about it. It’s got a full suspension and more peak power. With the current sale price I see on their site, I’d honestly go with the VX4.
Tom.....is that hybrid brake system both disc and regen tied together ???
Hey! So it’s electronic brake and disc brake with the ability to go into the settings and make adjustments. What’s interesting with these brakes is that they are cable actuated and use hydraulics to push the caliper pistons.
@@tomsgadgetgarageI've never seen that in the p settings I'll have to take another.
Yah it’s in the E settings section. One thing I’m realizing with this scooter is that’s it’s got all kinds of settings (P-settings, A-settings, E-settings).
@tomsgadgetgarage I need a booklet just on these settings 😲
Yah, it’s a little much haha
Hey, I've been looking forward to this! When I saw the title, I thought maybe I missed the introduction video and had to go back and check. Should be a cool range test to come and I don't know if anyone else has tested it at commuter speeds. Everyone seems to test them at top speed. Kudos to the weight call out at 80lbs. Only you and ESG are weighing these on the regular. I'm always curious if these manufacturers are incompetent or just lying. After all, it's one of the easiest things to get right when you put the specifications together. Last time I checked there was still no weight listed for the dual motor but I'm guessing it's going to pick up at least 12 lbs. 92lbs would put it right there in the same territory as the RS5 Max. "Hila" instead of "Gila" hahah!!! I was wondering when... now you sound like a native AZ guy :D I could tell you where feeling really confident on the downhill with this one. Looked like you were really having fun actually! 19:20 Ginger on Wheels noted the exact same thing. Seems like an odd artifact to leave in the production unit... assuming they sent you a production scooter. I mean, it shouldn't be a real mystery for the engineers and it's the only scooter I've ever seen or heard of that does this. I would eventually consider the dual motor version but not if that glitch stays built in. 21:30 IIRC, it's just a 30Ah battery but at 60V so you go from 1560Wh to 1800Wh, a very nice battery pack for dual motor, essentially the same as the Klima Max.
Haha yah I was going to film an intro video first but with the holidays and everything coming up I realized I don’t have too many Sundays to head out there left this year. So I made a last minute change of plans haha. When I first experienced the momentary slowdown it caught me off guard. I’ve gotten used to it now but you’re right, it would be great if it wasn’t there. Haha yah several people in the past corrected my Gila with a hard G 🤣. Now I’ll never make the mistake again lol. I could have swore I saw 35amp battery on their site, but I just looked and it’s clearly 30amp. I’m not too sure where I saw 35, but I seemed to feel confident about it in the video haha.
My only concern at this point is how bright the headlights are. I ordered mine, says it won’t be here till Dec 6th, but I have to ride through a dark trail in the evenings and every scooter I’ve had I needed to use a good aftermarket light. I just returned the big GT1 because it was too big and heavy to reasonably commute with, but that thing had an amazing headlight! If this headlight is anything like that, I’ll be satisfied.
So the headlight casts a beam that’s about 15ft wide and goes out a good 20-25ft or so. It’s not the brightest light but it’s worked well for me on some of my night rides.
Nice mate, not much info out there on this scooter. 👍
I fly dji drones, the dji action 5 is far superior to the go pro.👍😁🇺🇸
Haha nice! Yah I had a Mini 2 and then a second hand Air 2S for a while. They are a blast to fly. I remember the first drone I flew back in 2010 (tricopter) and compare it to what’s available today and it’s crazy how far the tech has come. Do you do any FPV flying?
I have the mavic 3 pro and it is a beast in the air.😁@@tomsgadgetgarage
Oh man that’s a nice drone. That camera unit looks like it’s about to lock onto me and launch something haha!
Hey Tom. This is the best review on this Emove V2. On utube. You knock this one out of the park. 😎👍
Thanks! Can’t wait to take this thing on a range test. I’m not used to scooters with this much battery haha.
@tomsgadgetgarage I know right. Can't wait to see the range test. 👍
That sure looks fun, Tom. I've never considered a scooter before. I rode big Harley's for 46 yrs, but it looks like fun. Great review. Thanks again for giving us your best. 👍
Thank you! Scooters are definitely interesting. I gave my dad (67) who also rides motorcycles one of my dual motor scooters. He rides it better than me haha! You get an additional sense of freedom that you don’t quite get on a bike, but they aren’t as forgiving as a bike. For example, you can ride a bike one handed but an e-scooter, not so much. And potholes become the thing of nightmares haha.
Hey Tom, I am 58 years old here in Florida and took my Ausom gallop scooter on a 35 mile adventure.i am loving it.keep the content coming, you do the best reviews.😁👍😊✔️🇺🇸
That’s awesome! The Gallop is one of my favorite scooters. So fun to cruise around on.
I love these hill climbing rides and is there a way to match up the acceleration of the scooters so that range comparison is more accurate? I understand that the apollo go is more powerful than many of the other scooters its being compared to, so i dont think its totally fair if one scooter uses more power because it can than another scooter which doesnt have that power. I dont expect any of these comparisons to be perfect and i like the entertainment of these videos I just want your thoughts on this
Yah it’d be difficult to match the acceleration on these as scooters vary in nominal/peak wattage, voltage, weight, single/dual motor, etc. The best I can do is set the top speed, use middle of the road acceleration settings, and test them on the same course. But you have a valid point.
32 Miles of Range? Really??? I have not seen anyone post any numbers remotely like that? Would love confirmation on that if you can. Thank you! Great Videos!
Hey! That was the test before all the firmware updates. This test was done right after they released the scooter. Here’s the video. Now it gets closer to 22 for me. Ninebot Max G2 Range Test in The Desert Heat! ua-cam.com/video/7xs0XmCNMf8/v-deo.html
Gotcha! Thanks so much for the quick info. Looking for long-term range.... I've gotten myself tempted down the rabbit hole of the VMAX VX4. Do you have any info? Scam or real scooter? All the reviews seem "paid". They even hit the same buzz words. So ... Suspicious. But nice stats. So.... Tempting.
I haven’t tested the VMAX VX4 but I’ve heard really good things about it. I like that they offer different battery options. It’s a scooter I’ve considered buying myself but I’m tapped out for 2024 until I offload some of my older scooters.
Hello Tom. VERY nice review. I had the 1.0 of this bike. It's a VERY good bike. The 2.0 is so much better lots of upgrades. 😎
Thanks, Chris! Nice 😊. Glad to hear you liked the 1.0. I wasn’t so sure about having a single gear but as it turns out, that’s all I really need where I ride around.
I probably shouldnt be comparing these two but hows the acceleration difference between the apollo go and the inmotion climber?
Hey! The InMotion Climber got me to 20mph in 6.31s vs the GO’s 6.73s and to 22mph in 8.67s vs the GO’s 8.14s.
Hey Tom I ride an e bike and am thinking of getting this Segway ZT3 or the GoTrax GX1. Do you know which one is better? Also my parents said an e scooter is dangerous and unstable so is that true?
Hey! So I don’t have any experience with GoTrax scooters, but I’ve heard good things about the GX1. The biggest difference here is that the GoTrax has dual motors which should give it the edge on hill climbs. But the ZT3 Pro is also an excellent hill climber and comes with more tech as well as an app to customize the ride experience. Scooters, like e-bikes, can absolutely be dangerous if you’re not careful. With a scooter, you always want two hands on the handlebars. Riding one handed introduces instability, especially at speed. You also want to avoid riding with both feet next to each other. It should always be one foot forward, one foot back. When braking, especially hard, it’s best to lean/shift your weight back to counteract the forward motion of your body. This will help prevent you going over the bars when you need to come to an abrupt stop. As long as you do the above and keep an eyes out for potholes and other obstacles, you’ll have a solid starting point.
@@tomsgadgetgarage Hi I think I’ll get the ZT3 since when I watched your video I saw all the cool stuff on the app. I’ve never ridden a scooter so thanks for telling me how to be careful. I’m going to subscribe to you since I like how much detail you have in your videos. Thank you so much for your time!
Thank you! It’s a great all around scooter. Really smooth power delivery and rides like it’s on rails, so super stable platform. If you do end up getting one, let me know how you like it.
@@tomsgadgetgarage Yeah I want that scooter really badly. I will try to buy it from Best Buy if it goes on a bigger sale. I will make sure to tell you if I get it since you were very helpful with me wanting to get it. 😁
Thank you for this! Be safe stay steady brother!
Thank you! You as well 😊
other reviewers report a delay of motor assist when pedaling
Yup, there’s is a delay with the Pedal Assist. Most cadence sensor bikes have a delay when pedaling. Some allow you to adjust the delay a bit. I cover it in my first impressions video at the 19:02 mark and then demonstrate it 19:43. I appreciate the vid but I'm in Western North Carolina. Lots of hills and some flats like you have. This doesn't give me a real review. Maybe cut your miles in half? Not sure, guess I'll do a range test on mine. Only had a couple days now
Thanks! This video may be a better representation of how hills impact range. I ride up and down a mountain in this one. Engwe L20 2.0 Hill Climb Test ua-cam.com/video/c2m62y7GjZE/v-deo.html
@tomsgadgetgarage Great!, thanks!
Hello Tom, is there a steering damper made for this particular scooter ?
Hey! Not that I’m aware of at the moment. Did it arrive already?
@ Not yet they claim it will arrive 11/26/24.UPS says it’s the holidays
@ at I ordered it from your link
Thanks man! Much appreciated. Hopefully you get it soon. I haven’t experienced any kind of wobbles on it so far. I’m actually going to be putting on some PMT tires soon. They’ve been sitting in a box for the last month lol.
@ ur not the only 1 saying that about the PMT tires…I’m going to see how much noise these make first
What would be your recommendation on a scooter under 1000 right now?
Did u watch the video? Cant go wrong with these 3 scooters.
Inokim Quick 4 is on sale for $600. It is a $1000 scooter. Sold out!
Hey! So the three scooters in the video are all solid options. The Ausom Leopard is another one that I really enjoy. It’s ultimately going to depend on where you plan to ride, whether or not steep hills are a thing in your area, whether you ride for fun or need a commuting option with proven miles.
Looking for a scooter upgrade for 12yr old boy for Play and to ride to school. Looking for something with a suspension... Seems like a good option. Is this too big or would he grow into it quickly? Already has a Segway street scooter... Thoughts?
Hey! So this is a rather large scooter. Segway lists rider height between 5’3” and 6’7”. Depending on his height, you may want something with adjustable handlebar height.
@tomsgadgetgarage any suggestions for a scooter with a suspension for this this age?
So mountain climb is the weakness of bike because it shorten the range and use more battery juice.
Is there cruise control?
There is supposed to be but mine doesn’t work. I recently updated the firmware so I’ll try again and see if anything changed.
