I just started flying this year when i found your videos and i have had so much fun pushing my skills and trying risky maneuvers! Ive lost one plane to a tree so far but it helped me learn. I really love watching you guys push the planes to the max it gives me ideas to try myself and has kept the hobby fun!

Plus the fact you guys love the Fun Cub so much. It’s the only plane I have that has always been ready to go for the past 15 years. I picked up a FunCub NG from Mr MPX on the west coast recently. I also just got a FMS P18 Super Cub 1300 based on your review. It definitely has more mass than the FC but like you said it flies great (after you have the ailerons the right way). Guess I didn’t watch the maiden flight checklist video enough. Lol. Such a rookie mistake. Just super excited to fly something new in the backyard. Keep up the great work! 👍🏻

I have been doing this with a umx turbo timber ber and my eratix ff....I Wana put 2 servos on the ail so I ca have Gian flaperons on th eratix for bush flying....it's way more fun that 3d flying that brittle tank lmao
What prop mount/spinner are yall using on that pa-18??
Holy shit you just doinked that super cub straight into the ground. I've done that once and i had to glue the motor to the fuselage again, but i have yet to break a prop

Do you do anything different other than flaps to the turbo timber Evo to make it stay in a hover?

How did y'all set up the reverse thrust on this plane? I got one and can't figure it out
I think that there's a Rev servo lead coming off the ESC, and if you plug it into any open channel on your receiver, like Gear, that you have a toggle assigned to, it will reverse. Many Predator ESCs have it, though you may need to program it. Reverse may already be programmed on the PA-18.

While not on your level, "back in the day" my buds and I would sometimes attempt flights from "locations other than ideal", which often resulted in extended rebuild stints out in the shop.

Really good flying! As a possible future video I suggest you should look into some micros, as it's a smaller niche in the hobby. Some like the UMX Timber X are perfect for your outside-the-box style of flying.
Thanks! We enjoy the park flier size stuff for bush flying more simply because it's a bit more challenging and keeps us on our toes. We much preferred the original UMX Turbo Timber over the UMX Timber X. Not sure we'll ever get one. Maybe one day!
