Well done, I love how they have engineered this so that you do not need PPE or a torque wrench.
I wish all install videos were like this. Well done guys...
@@studio3686 thank you. We are working on make more and better videos
@@studio3686 I agree. Can’t think of a video as concise as this.
You made it look easy, and that shows the amount of experience you have. Great job, guys.
Jeff. I need to order one for my personal 2024 cruiser. We install your products weekly at work. For the tundras. Amazing products.
@@andrew5373 thank you!🙏
Im currently running 35s before any lift. You think with uour kit i can run 37s?@westcottdesigns
@@andrew5373 if your willing to do a lot of trimming and with correct wheel offset.
First class instruction video. I'm thinking of bringing my 2024 Land Cruiser to you guys.
@@alpinecenter thank you! We would love that.
Can you make one for the gx550 kit next please ? I know they are a bit more involved with the electronics being attached to the shock with its variable drive modes and what not so would be a bit more involved but would be super helpful
Good news! The process is the same for the GX550 as it is for the Land Cruiser.
Good stuff!! Will be placing my order!
Hey I’m up here in Toronto Canada. I got my hands on a Traildust First Edition. I have the leveling kit on order. I am getting mixed signals that it will void my warranty. Also with talking to my Toyota service guy. He also mentioned that the laser for the cruise control and lane assist may be effected. Please advise. I want to change the rims and get larger tires.
Great video. Just waiting for my shipment. Very good tutorial thanks.
@@eltea3592 thank you🙏
Excellent tutorial!
How does the IFS down travel look like after installing the kit? Do we have a number for the down travel distance after installation?
Crickets...
Stock suspension travel is 8". The ride height is right in the middle with 4" of bump and 4" of droop. Increasing the ride height by 2.5" will leave you with 1.5" of droop. This was measured on my 250 LC with premium package.
@@8oliverraymond Which was measured? Stock, or after the puck lift? Or both?
@@jeffwarnerPHOTOcom This was measured on my STOCK LC 250. The kit in the video is a spring pre load 2.5" lift kit. This kit doesn't increase suspension stroke, all it does is raise the ride height. So you are left with 6.5" of bump travel and 1.5" of droop travel with this kit.
Nice job on the install and video
Will there be a GX550 video or is it the same install?
Love your videos!
@@toyotaofclermont thank you!🙏
You guys can use my 24 trd pro taco for a tutorial on the collar lift if those black ones come in on time. Been speaking to Carlo about it
nice and clean work.✌
Could you let me know what auto spring compressor brand did you use? I would like to get them. Thx.

Me patiently waiting for my kit to arrive 🥴
Nice design! Does torque matter when tightening the bolts on those parts? Such as LCA or the shock mount?
Great video, however I wouldnt call it lift kit for rear axle. Axle remains the same clearance frim the ground, only is pushed away from the body. Only gain is possibility to instal bigger tires...
Thanks 👍. A question tho: how do we adjust the speedometer for the new tyre size?
@@SpeedyNeo at 70 mph it’s off 1.2 mph slower. No calibration for it as of now.
How does it ride like after this lift kit installed? I heard people complained about this similar lift kit on Tacoma, and other. Not sure it is true or not. No doubt it looks awesome with new stand (leveling)
@@americapride these trucks all come with a P load tire which is a passenger vehicle tire. So very soft riding and light. I emphasize all the time when people are picking tires not to get E load tire or even a D load tire if they can avoid it. This is what has the most effect on ride quality when lifting these vehicles. It will also have the biggest effect on mpg over anything you do to it. We designed the new Tacoma and Land Cruiser lifts not as high as we could just to keep a smoother ride.
@@westcottdesignsif people already ran with E load tires, they should not add preload collar lift kit to their LC if they want to keep those E load tires?
The whole rear axle is secured by that one shock bolt??😮
Just asking, can I use lift kit for fj cruiser ? Is it same specification for LC250 Prado ?
Will your shop do the installation. I am from California, but can drive to you. I got 1st edition LC. Thanks in advance
@@americapride for sure! We have people drive in or ship in from all over the country! Would love to be able to help you.
Just purchased one for my wife. Would like a professional recommendation for tires. I was thinking about 33” looking for somewhat aggressive pattern but still good for roads. Any shops in Texas that we can take it? What is your opinion on breaks upgrades (Tacoma TDR pro package) to replace original. Thank you and congrats on the video. If possible to exchange information please give me a link to do so. Thank you.
@@achvferreira6969 I would run a 285/75R17. Make sure to run aC load rated tire.
Does the lift require an alignment after?
@@BeeCreekPhotographySpicewood any lift or wheel or tires done a vehicle should always have a alignment.
Will this not void the warranty? Where is your shop, will you install it for me and how much it's gonna cost me? Thanks
@@dukatista657 we are located in Phoenix Arizona. It will not void the warranty. We have dealers all over the country if you choose to have it installed closer to you. The kit is $495. Plus the labor. Toyota book time says 5.5 hours so what ever the shop you go to labor rate is. We are $140 per hour.
@@westcottdesigns how many inches lift is it?
@@dukatista657 we do 2.5” front and 1” in the rear
Estimate ship time? wanting to order lift

@@adamhuglo111 that is correct!
Only $200 more for the Lexus, what are you complaining about?
@@adamhuglo111 for the money the Lexus is a nicer vehicle.
Lolz
How in the f have yall not invested in a spring machine at your facility? You are really hand compressing Land Cruiser springs? Very amateur and extremely dangerous. Hope you are getting hazard pay.
@@Nemlv we have had no problem and with all 5 techs each have 2 sets so they don’t have to wait on each other to finish up with the wall mount. When we feel a set is getting worn we order new ones and then we never have to worry. We have men working here that are tough and don’t worry about getting hurt😉.
ouch.
@@alh5470 @westcottdesigns yeah both of you real dumb men indeed. Not a torque wrench in site and don’t even know how to button up a suspension not loading bushings… This is Mickey Mouse shit. Can’t believe people advertise their ignorance online so loudly…
@@westcottdesignsWith that attitude you are a lawsuit waiting to happen.
@@StubProductions it a good thing we have really good insurance and a team that really knows what they are doing and used their best judgement when it’s time to replace the ones that are getting worn.
It's a pavement princess nothing else. They do not make off road vehicles for America only dubi will get a real land cruiser. Come on Man
@@arlogriggs6652 after testing the Land Cruiser does better then any of the other Toyota models.

Troll at is best 🤡
Land Cruiser has a different motor 2.4L turbo.
Clown doesn’t know what he’s talking about. And even if it was a GX, that’s a different motor than the older tundras - different part numbers

@@xavierdupuis8 In January 2024, Toyota announced that it was suspending shipments of 10 vehicle models, including the Land Cruiser 300, due to irregularities found in horsepower-output testing for three engine models. In February 2024, a class action lawsuit also alleged that some Toyota diesel engines, including those in the Land Cruiser, have design elements that interfere with the vehicle's emissions control system to improve performance.
less talk, more action. whoever understands this will understand.😊
@@user-ss4lr9ls8m all it is action at our place. Any one that know us and our facility would know this is true!👍. We started 5 years ago with 3 total people now we have 40. We started in 5000 feet space and now we are in 45,000 feet. We started with no equipment and now we have invested over $5 million in equipment. I would say we are more action and less talk if anyone knows us. But hey maybe we are doing something wrong and someone wants to come show us how to do it.
