No trimming no body mount chop and no rubbing is insane. Killed it!
Does it rub with articulation is the question.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 True! I'd like to know.
No budget ;)
Once you’re done modding it the vehicle comes out $100k+
As if they knew we would ride bigger tires.
That has to the best looking new Land Cruiser on the planet. WOW! You should also do a MOAB line for the Lexus GX 550!!!! Does it fit in a normal garage?????
Thank you! It’s 79” tall with the 37’s
@@westcottdesigns dude your short af.
How tall with the 2.5” and the 35”? Including roof rack of yours of course
@@westcottdesignsalso curious of how much increased ground clearance between the 37 and 35” tire lifts accordingly and their affect on approach and departure angles too
More ? Please. We need at least 12 per question
That's by far the best, most thoughtful designed Toyota 4x4 I've seen in along time. They hit the sweetspot. Subdued, but powerful, not to much but everything you need.
Yeah just 40k more
You are definitely helping Toyota move this new LC. Looks killer!!
Looks like Herman Munster's shoe
Toyota doesn't need any help moving Land Cruisers. lol
That looks freaking awesome, can't wait to see what they do to the new 4runner.
Land Cruiser 80 series vibes💯
Except the 80 has a solid front axle that flexes much better, this is a soft roader in comparison with the 80..but yes it does look great.
I love these new Land Cruisers, but hate the hybrid 4 cylinder power unit. The simplicity, reliability and refinement of a V-6 compared to Toyota’s thrashy unrefined 4.
@@993mike too bad Toyota’s new V6 turbo engine is having major issues across product lines. Would love to see the NA 3.5 from the Tacoma, or 4.0L from the 4Runner in these, but they’re already gone.
Its more inspired of the 70 series
that bronze roof rack is sick. need that for the tundra
Okay this is a banger build. Damn. Kudos
@@ericzawoYT thank you!🙏
that thing is insane
Thank you!🙏
Wow…just incredible. Made up my mind…getting a 1958 and doing this type of mod!
Love hearing that!👍
I think I’m right behind you.
Same hear!
Looks awesome. I bet it's over $100k... the best Landcruiser I've seen so far.
Dealers already over charging these at 90k+ because of “market and or dealer adjustment” which is crazy stupid, and they are 60-70+ from base model and up starting. Prices are insane. Go get a Lexus gx550 and add all this in and be happy with everything you got
My local dealer has 1958 for $60k and LC model for $65.
@@ascentoffroad lol the bottom of the barrel edition won’t be marked up and that’s the advertised price before they add their bs “dealer fees” lol or “market adjustments”
@@samuelgatton I moved but my old dealer didn’t mark up anything. I bought a Tacoma in 2018 and a 2022 4R for MSRP. They had multiple LC250 for MSRP. Not common but they were a small dealer in a smaller city.
@@samuelgatton Just looked my local dealer has 1958 for $60,507 + $999 dealer fee. Land Cruiser Land Cruiser for $63,160, $69,789, $68,765. All on the lot.
looks absolutely killer, thought im all but positive that the "no rubbing" is only with steet driving. I would be willing to bet that the second you see any articulation it rubs hard
Only rubs when I back out of my driveway, lol!
The new land cruisers I've seen so far on UA-cam have been nice, but very pedestrian. This thing is nasty! I need this.
What's with the exposed cables/electronics at 1:27 ? not very offroad-ey if you ask me.
Looks great! Are there reliability concerns with the extra weight to a high strung turbo 4-cylinder?
How much lift will it provide without the preload collar? And is the Tundra suspension plug and play on the LC250?
Yep, this ^
Keep it rollin' Jeff.. you are setting the standards now!!
I thought Today's LC video was the first, then I discover this 5 month old beauty😊
stunning looks - challenge would be to set this souped up version against the original and evaluate what you get for your money in terms of extraa capability.
So nice, feel like it just needs a steel bumper, snorkel and some lights to really set it off. Side note the bottle opener is in a terrible spot unless you're 8ft tall, would make more sense to put it on the tire carrier.
Looks killer! Crazy the stock LC has only 8 inches of ground clearance and comes on street tires. Dealers are asking $90K for first edition LCs in LA!
Sweet 200 build. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Jeff. Good seeing you too Jace!
Toyota should sell the LC in that guise , beautiful stance, very aggressive look and very capable, ( maybe with 35s)
Man beautiful looking Land Cruiser.
Really like the way it looks! But, why did they go hybrid only??
Shhhhid I had to subscribe no lie, that 58 is clean Jack 💪🏿🥃
How does it handle? Does it wonder on the road? Slop in steering ?
Keep these coming. I’m waiting for my LC to arrive. Looking for front bumper protection.
can you share info about the work involved to fit the TRD Tundra suspension onto the LC? I have an opportunity to buy a full suspension off a brand new Tundra TRD Pro and i know it's not bolt on(or maybe some of it is), but if there were a conversion "kit"... you'd make me a happy LC owner!
Would like to see a base 1958 all done up that would be awesome. Hopefully soon?
Now something i can use to kind of visualize my build onto my 2014 pilot. It’s very similar shaped. Along with the lights design and everything. Definitely a clean looking Land Cruiser. I do prefer the box shape headlights on these model tho
Damn that looks SICK! Though I have to say I think for most folks 35's are gonna be the way.
Killed it! I knew these would look incredible lifted and it’s even better than expected.
So SICKKK! You guys always kill it!
@@toyotaofnorthcharlotte thank you we are try for sure. Thank you🙏
Have you all done any GX`s with this suspension set up?
@@caseyoneill6650 we have not. Have only done this one with the Tundra set up
Question, which hitch tire rack is shown on this Land Cruiser build? Thanks.
I dont see the bronze roof rack in your shop. Can you link it?
@@x0kamikazi0x this was our production roof rack that we finished in bronze for our Moab Cruiser.
I would like to buy that roof rack and those rock sliders, but in black. How can I order?
@@santiagosalcedo5595 give me a call and we can get you all set up. Jeff Westcott
Cell 480-703-2440
Best westcott design truck I’ve seen them do 🔥 and best (IMHO) new Toyota release. I have a 5th gen 4runner, but will be moving to the LC next. Awesome build!!
Is the bronze roof rack, is that something that can be ordered online?, or is it special order?
@@usrmy180 it would be special order if you wanted it.
@@westcottdesigns Definitely will be reaching out. I already ordered the lift from you guys, but takes forever to arrive. My brother and I definitely love you guys product and looking to order more parts for sure.
Do you also place front bull bars for safety?
Can the 20 degree rails still be used as steps?
Do you need to reprogrammed the onboard computer when installing larger wheels?
Is this a matter of wrap? Or that matte clear paint protecting material that makes the original paint look matte?
Impact of muddin on the battery?
Coming from a Bronco badsquatch owner. This is SWEET!
I wonder how those hybrid 4cyl turbo engines will handle that 37” set up between mileage and the extra power needed to push those massive tires. Thing looks amazing.
Dang guys... you killed it with this.
amazing set up
@@benwinyu thank you!🙏
Can't wait to see you doing this with the 2025 4Runner 🙌
if 35/37 inch tyres don't fit under the vehicle i'll be sticking with 33s - thanks for the insight! I have other priorities for storage at the back rather than having to shift a wheel back there
On a new vehicle, do those modifications alter or void the factory warranty?
Wow, looks amazing.
Did you regear it to make sense of 37
THat is SICK build man !
Is it legal to block the rear license plate?
@@scottstewart8737 we make a license plate relocation kit.
I love the look but I’m curious about the articulation. With those 37s, it will be very tippy if there’s not a ton of flex.
Zero Rubbing fully flexed with swaybar disconnect off? Looks awesome.
@@KevinBiagi thank you!🙏
@@westcottdesigns is there any rubbing going on front or rear fully flexed with swaybars disconnected?
@@KevinBiagi at full flex and full steering lock. For sure! The factory wheel and tire at full flex and steering lock is pretty close. So you have to decide how far you are willing to cut up the vehicle to make things work. We do things to make them practical and to look factory but also to work well. But does it still rub in those extreme conditions yes it will.
@@westcottdesigns it does look great. Most people won’t be fully articulating a 70k truck in the rubicon anyway. lol. I live the sliders and spare tire mount.
@@KevinBiagi thank you. Love hearing that🙏
That thing looks absolutely awesome, freakin gorgeous
Love this design, awesome vehicle.
Thank you!🙏
Will a winch not fit into the bumper?
what's up with the exposed wire connector in the wheel well? that doesn't seem like a good design. Is that normally covered by something you removed?
how much will this build cost including labor and can we see the roof rack getting mine next month
Looks good. Would like to see full articulation
@@bikerevolutiontv I will post a mall crawl or walk crawl.
@@westcottdesigns ?
@@bikerevolutiontv I will post some pictures up on the community page tonight
killing it 🔥🔥
That LC is amazing! Any estimates on MPGs with the 37s?
Whats the weigh limit for the roof rack?
Our roof rack has a weight limit right at 2200lbs. mark but the roof mounting points are the weak point and the roof starts to flex right around 750 lbs.
@@westcottdesigns Thank you for the response!! those are static weight numbers? Is the dynamic load limit still Toyota spec?
wow, until today, i've never really considered the new LC, but this build takes it to the level it needs to be! Amazing work! I though this was a fake AI video at first! LOL
Would be interesting to know how the engine copes with those big wheels and tires vs stock.
so sick . nice work Jeff
It was the team that made it happen. Thank you🙏
bro that looks amazing!!
Awesome build. Looks good, seems functional, feels worthy!
can you build like this on the 2024 LC 76
Has the gearing been addressed to match the 37" tires? This thing is going to be a slug on road and have crappy low range if running stock gearing.
Still has stock gearing. Crazy how much power it has. The power difference between it and our 2023 TRD pro 5Runner that is supercharged. We are putting different axles in the LC and going straight axle in the front and we are going to widen it 6” for the SEMA show at the end of the year
Nailed it!! Looks so good.
oh my god, love that build
In Aus we got the 200 and then the 300 cruiser in '24. Did u not get the 300 in US? To me this version looks similar to the 300 but a variant for the US market.
@@Doogsay we did not get the 300 in the US yet😔
37s without trimming or body lift??? If true... I'm sold
Looks sick. Just can’t imagine that 4 cyl keeps up with all the weight and rotational mass.
@@michaelhalstead64 thank you! It’s crazy how well it does. I could not believe it either.
Can it still maintain highway speeds? It looks great but that's a lot of tire for that powertain
Shouldn't be a problem with 465 lb-ft of torque, but it can always be regeared
So TRD Pro Tundra shocks and struts is a direct fit? Damn. Thats nice.
What's the biggest size tire that fit in the spare tire location?
I think 33 is the biggest that would fit underneath. I would like to know if 34s partially deflated would fit?
I wonder why the US chose to use the new prado as the replacement for the 200 series and not the new 300 series. This j250 is considered the new prado over here in New Zealand and Australia
With 35" tires would you need to remove the crash bar?
Yes. With 285/75R17 you do not. This also comes to wheel offset selected as well
That's a beaut! Wish you showed the inside too. A question. What kind of city/highway average mpg would something like this get?
@@Nate-zy5ce 16.5 to 18.2 mpg is what we got. Sorry I don’t have any interior pictures or videos.
@@westcottdesigns That's okay. And thanks for the answer. That's better mpg than I was expecting.
DOES IT HAVE DOWN TRAVEL AT ALL IN THE FRONT?
Looks like an fj I love it
@@IsiahMcGowan thank you!
OMG Reminds of my 80 series!
That can not be a 24 Land Cruiser, no way . . .That is the USS Missouri & it makes Jace look like an tiny Elf. Wow Great work indeed. 😃😄😀
It’s big! But I’m also 5’7” so that’ll explain a lot lmao
I don’t think you talked about the color? Is this thing wrapped, if so what color is it?
Killer mods. Excellent job, boys. Can we order them yet?
Looks cool. Roof rack needs integrated light bar.
Lights coming this month😉
I thought in another video you mentioned that on our Tacoma you were worried about the turbos with all the weight
Ok this sold me. I'm trading my 4Runner in next year for a 2025 LC.
Thats going to make the Wrangler guys jealous.
Right!😉
The Jeep will still out wheel this hands down.. it’s impossible to out perform a solid axle vehicle off road, now if this had a long travel ifs then it would be much better.
Don’t forget about those Ford Bronco dudes as well 😂 lol
This is one Insane truck! Good job
Insane looks cool great
So.... how much for everything to make one exactly like that?
😢 what is the grind 6 guarantee? Departure angle? Front....
How much do those wheels weigh? (tyre plus rim)
