Question: the t slots on the racks don’t seem to have a wider indentation to put on T-slot mounts. So how do you put t slot mounts on the cross bars? Take the bar off, slide in the mount, and then put them back on?
I’d guess removing the 2 end bolts and slighting lifting would make quick work of this. Agree, would be nice to the openings on the end to slide bolts in without removing cross bar mount bolts.
Are there no cutouts in the T-slots to drop/slide studs and nuts in? I'm hoping this video was based on a prototype version? It would be good to know what size extrusion you're using as well so we can order matching T-slot hardware for mounting our RTTs and other accessories. Thanks
@@n1tr0kt we use the same size cross bars as Prinsu and Sherpa. We all use a 47” long bar that is 2” x 1” and they use a 1/4-20 T nut. They can be bought on mcmastercarr.com they make ones that just drop into the bars that lock into place. And to answer your questions. This is a production roof rack.
Looks good, but those spacers where the rack sits look a little questionable. Maybe a single plastic block spacer would inspire some more confidence as far as durability goes.
@@OceansideCreations the crazy thing is we machine the spacers from a solid billet piece of round stock. Sad thing is the spacer holds more weight than the roof. The roof rack holds more weight than the roof as well.
I brought up the concern because the clamps on roof top carriers need space between the traditional bars and this multi-bar setup can prevent the space needed - I would like to see this validated before purchasing- thanks
I love the rack but you should of tried the bottle opener on the LC because it don't work I've called several times to ask why but still no response. Wrong angle four sure. Looks nice just non effective. I live in Peoria right down the street.

Niiiiiiice. Can you share the wheel size/offset and tire size? love that setup... Also, will you be offering a cutout for a 40" light bar?
Your videos are better than half the shows out there! Nicely done. Westcott Designs never misses!
@@EdgarRuiz thank you! We are trying to do a better job ever day. So thank you for noticing🙏
Do you folks plan on making a 3/4 rack or basket style rack for the LC?
When will a wine bottle opener version be available?
Please make a short version 🙏would be perfect for sunroof + 60" side opening RTT
Nice work guys, looking forward to more mods for my LC from you guys.

Does the Rack Touch the paint somewhere on the roof?
