Wow, All three of them look awesome. They look like totally different vehicles. Quite frankly, I wasn't overly excited by the new Land Cruiser in the stock form. The Westcott Designs build is a game changer for sure!
Cannot wait for the new Land Cruiser Prado to come down under with the 2.8ltr diesel with 48 volt hybrid, the enhancements possible will be sick! 😀👍☝️your modifications not only look great but are MOAB fit.
That matte black build on 37’s is MONSTER!!! Amazing job putting that together in such a short amount of time. It just goes to show you why you are the top in the industry and why I trust the engineering and passion that goes into everything you do enough to purchase your lift for my 5th Gen 4Runner and any product that you manufacture! Another home run! ❤
I've owned three generations of land cruiser, and I must admit I wasn't initially a big fan of the '24 model. However, after seeing the modification by Wescott Designs, I've grown to love it. The heritage blue, white roof, with matte wheels and finishes is my favorite. Our Ausie friends down under are going to be jealous!
You guys are the BLUEPRINT. Amazing work. It's kind of amazing that manufactures don't having them looking like this out of the factory, but oh well, there is WD!
I have had the same an FJ Cruiser since I was 16 (I'm 29 now) and have had two 5th gen 4Runners over the past 11 years, the most recent has the Magnuson supercharger. I'm not content buying a 4Runner sized vehicle with a 4 cylinder engine. I have reserved a GX 550, but even considering cancelling that. I guess we'll see. Great guilds! We had your sliders on our 5th gen and loved them. The attention to detail and tasteful design is spot on with all your products, especially these new Land Cruisers. Any thoughts of 80 series products in the future?
I wonder how the 360 camera works with those suspension lifts. Does it need any re-calibration? I'd appreciate an update on this. Anyway, amazing job! My LC still didn't even reach the production line and you guys already mod them. Crazy stuff!
I have to admit, they all look awesome! What a difference a nice lift, tire and wheels make. Well done fellas!!! You made me dream of owning this vehicle now, thanks. 😅 Wondering though, how does all of the added weight figure the hybrid system? Is it struggling or is there no change?
Jeff these look great. I'd be curious to see your standard lift with a 285/70/18 and stock wheels. Or will you guys be offering just a 1.5 inch front leveling for those that want to run 285/70/18s?
35x12.5 is the optimum 35 for all types of terrain especially rock however living on the beach in OBX I’d run 285/70/18, 295/70/18 or 285/75/17 to get bigger tires that are better in sand, will get better fuel efficiency and likely save you needing a re-gear
Thanks for a great video! It was rumored that all iForce Max LCs and Tacomas had to have a minimum of an 18” wheel, but I see 17s here. Is it true that these vehicles require an 18” wheel?
Are you guys doing the PPF wrap? This is the first I’ve heard of this. Wanting to order a black and have you guys do the same thing. Man that looks killer
Nice built are all those with 2.4 twin turbo hybrids, in Australia we will get the 2.8 diesel with 8 speed auto together with mild hybrid, we also hoping to get the similar power terrain you guys get in Usa
When you have the wheels/tires setup poking out like that does it impact any articulation where the stock wheels would end up tucked up in the fender when off roading? Larger tires on these trucks with solid rear axles are the main things that allow for more ground clearance correct? So even if you put a 5 inch lift on there the max tire size you are then able to fit will be the deciding factor of how much more ground clearance, approach/departure angles etc you get compared to stock. Just making sure I am thinking correctly about this stuff.
It’s finding the best of both worlds and making more ground clearance with the tires for the axle and lower control arms but also picking the best wheel offsets to help getting the wheels tucked in the wheel wells when articulating Without rubbing
Not at all👍. They are the exact same over all length as the factory OEM ones. So if they are designed that way then there should not be any problem. Great question though.
Yes all amazing. However, it’s just eye-candy for the masses who will not drop $100k+. Let alone the big question mark about the engines reliability in both the short-term(main bearing issues) and the inherently shorter life of the engine compared to the 8cyl. Cool to see but then again so are super models.
35s with no lift on the black one looks great. Too bad you can't get Heritage Blue with the heritage front end unless you get a First Edition. Ugh! And no tan leather with sunroof. If you get the sunroof, they remove the premium package and tan leather. The packaging is so weird. The ideal would be the Heritage blue, no lift, white roof, sunroof, tan leather, heritage front headlights.
Toyota is going to more positive offsets on most of their new trucks and SUVS. 0 offsets used to be the offset to run the last Gen 4Runner and Tacoma and now it’s in plus offsets
All three Landcruisers are gorgeous, but the matte black is excellence!
