    this is one of the most brilliant men ever, but look also at the talent of the members of the orchestra, all so committed, so perfection, and i defy anybody to find a better provision and production of such a brilliant masterpiece

    Fell in love with this song first time i heard it on the Radio in 1976 , bought the 7" single , and played nearly every night really pissed my sister off . Still playing it on my IPod in 2023 . RIP John

    Fantastic to see John Miles again. I saw him perform in Earls court, London in 1975, supporting Elton John. It was the Louder then Concord but not quite as pretty tour. My first visit to see a huge star. Happy days

    Played this music at a bandcamp in Jönköping, Sweden 1981. Totaly 110 players in Brass band and woodvind orchestra and 10 drummers. Guess if I got goosbumps that night in church.

    Fabulous, I am not a Geordie even though my parents, grandparents were from Tanner's Hill, but a bloke from Middlesbrough who bought this single when it was released, worked in Jarrow, Hepburn, lived back in Wallsend, best single ever ❤

    i bought the album REBEL when it came out in 1976 i was 19 and the year before, his first hit was highfly ans it was fantastic. im 65 now and it still makes me jump up and dance. you youngsters listening to us old farts LISTEN, i cant believe im 65 it goes so fast so do all you want to do before its too late.

    Went to a John Miles concert in the late 70s at Wimbledon Theatre. Small venue with a great atmosphere. Awesome live act.

    Love this song. First time I heard it was on radio Luxembourg, you used to hear it fade in and out. The guitar solo started faded then got loud with better reception, I'll never forget it. Was sad when John had passed. RIP

    Dieser Titel war Anfang der 80er Jahre der Schlusstitel einiger Discos in Llioret de Mare und zeigt, dass auch solche Musik alte und junge Leute begeistern kann. John Miles hat leider nicht mehr viele Erfolgstitel gehabt, ist trotzdem ein Meilenstein der Popmusik geworden. "Music" wird ihn immer wieder bei uns in Erinnerung bringen.
