- hi guys!! today’s video is a much requested pastel pink hair bleach and coloring routine. the last time i did a salon visit with you guys my hair was a much darker and brighter, almost like a neon pink because of the orange staining underneath. since then we’ve been able to get a lot of that pigment out and achieve a much lighter pastel pink! @mindy.n has worked so hard to perfect this routine for me so i’m very excited to finally share with you guys how we do my pastel pink hair ❤️ also please let me know if you guys would like to see an at-home version of how i bleach and color my eyebrows pink! thanks for watching & see you guys again next week!

To anyone reading this: Be very very very careful with allergic reactions like Mei's ... Perhaps consider investing in an EPI pen and keeping it on your person when getting your hair done? Allergic reactions like that can, in rare cases, actually be fatal.

Yea it really depends for different people. I guess her allergic reaction isn't as severe because she can calm it down with antihistamines but other people will asphyxiate -- have their throats close up
I highly recommend to bleach your eyebrows with face and arms bleach, you can find it even at the supermarket, it's gentle and I've been doing it since 1 year! I'm super allergic to everything too lol

You look beautiful, but please be extra careful with your allergic reactions. They can get very severe and lead to hospital. Every next allergic reaction can be worse from the previous one. Maybe check alternative hair dyes without as many chemicals in the ingredients list?

the last time I bleached and dyed my hair I couldn't breathe well at all, I couldn't feel my head. I nearly had an anxiety attack because I felt like my lungs couldn't receive air but I tried to tell myself I was over exaggerating.

oh my god i feel you so bad on the undercut. i’ve been growing out my undercut for years and it looks so weird when i wear my hair down as my undercut is about half my other hair’s length and like 5 times as dark 💀 you look great though!!!

how did you get your hair so light with just one bleaching using 20 vol? I'm a fellow chinese gal here with really dark hair that's really difficult to bleach and I usually have to do it three times (separated spaced out sessions so it doesn't damage tooo much) in order to get it light.

why don't you use a permanent color when you want to keep pink long term?
pink just doesnt stick for long! theres not really a ‘permanent’ dye for pink

How come when asian keep dyeing thier year it takes years to see the thinning, but when white people keep doing it thier hair thins super fast
i'm mixed half asian. unfortunately i already had thin hair but then i decided to start bleaching and coloring which hasnt helped but my hair grows out pretty quick so theres that at least

so, your stylist has to be extra careful not to let the lightener touch your scalp because you have bad allergic reactions... yet you convince her to slap a bunch on your face so you can bleach your eyebrows? idk about all that. as a stylist myself, I would've said no way! friends or not..
I dont recommend bleaching eyebrows and dyeing them, they would grow back and it will look patchy with pink and your natural hair color, it happend to me
