- my pastel rainbow hair dreams!!!!!! i'm kicking off 2020 with a new hairstyle with a pastel rainbow peek a boo underneath my usual favorite shade of pastel pink. thank you so much to @lv1.studio @mindy.n and @dearmiju for collaborating with me for this video to create this amazing hairstyle! i hope you guys enjoy this hair transformation ❤️
in 2020 one of my biggest goals is to dress and look more like how i want to. now that i'm turning 24, i started being more self conscious of my clothing or hair looking 'childish' and unprofessional. although i love how my style has matured in the past year, i really want to be comfortable with wearing exciting things again! so of course in order to do that, i started the year by dyeing my hair rainbow. i've wished for this exact hair style for over five years now, and it's so exciting to finally have it. thank you for watching & see you again next week ❤️

looks really cute but why it seems like they didnt retouch your roots even if they did? there's already black grown on your hair o_O
I'm pretty sure she has to do that coz she gets really bad reactions to the bleach if they leave it on her scalp skin long enough to work, so she just had the roots mostly done

I know what you mean about being older and afraid to look childish or "not your age". ( For anyone confused I'm talking about the description.) I became a mom at 21 when I was transitioning my style and I've been in a tail spin of what's "right" for years. Now about to be 27 I'm barley pulling out of it, stay true to yourself! I know that's annoying to hear but you inspire others (myself included) anytime I've watched your videos or looked at your photos, thank you for sharing your struggle and making me feel not so alone in my style endeavour.

To her, it's bold. Imagine going from one solid color to multiple colors that are semi permanent. That's pretty bold.

beautiful hair! iv always wanted rainbow hair as well but i’m afraid of the damage it would cause and if it would wash out very fast and become all muddy :(
sweet heart you should do it !! i had it done once for a hair modeling thing for my local salon and it faded back out to white/blonde gradually and it never looked muddy !! especially if it’s pastel rainbow colors, they come out gracefully haha
I've had several colours in my hair for years now and it's never looked muddy. What helps the dye from blending into each other is not using hot water to wash it. Of course it's more time consuming than a sold colour, but definitely worth it.
I did a very bright rainbow color and it went all muddy after a week XD I think it'll work out with pastel colors though! Just not the super bright ones I had.

@Anni G its because she has allergic reaction to bleach, so her hair stylist leaves like half a centimeter so her scalp doesn't bleed!! i think it looks pretty either way
They did such a great job! The idea of having pink on top and go from there was a smart move! I like it! You look like someone that jumped out of _Paradise Kiss_ or _Gokinjo Monogatari._ 💜

As someone who once got a 4 hour hair job done, let me just say that hairstylist basically becomes your new aunt or tea bestie (depending on age). Mine even offered to drive me home (an hour and a half trip away) if my family (and thus ride) had to leave for their appointment back home as my hair was taking so long. I tipped her 35%. Love what they did with your hair here. You've inspired me to finally do something with my hair I've wanted to do since I was 18 (now 27).

@@laniiblue it isnt worth it. I got the look I wanted which was like grayish blonde ombre and all my hair broke off from the damage and eventually a lot of it fell out. My hair now is super thin but I got tape extensions to make it look thick. Bleaching your hair that much is NOT worth it in the long run.
@@Adele5554 Some people don't care,a friend of mine shaved her head after getting damaged bleached hair and she rocked it. Plus you can wear wigs easily as it grows out. It's up to the individual if it's worth it or not.
@@Callisto171 Mad respect for anyone that can shave their head but to be fair it doesnt suit most people. And would take years to grow back to normal, not worth it for some bleach.

Excuse me but is this sarcasm?? The roots are patchy AF. They are orange and black at different spots and even the pink dye could`nt fix that. The colours look muddy and grey at the ends. I would have cryed and run away.
Your hair are so beautiful you are so lucky I wish I had straight hair but my mother is black and my father is white so it's a weird hair mixed (sorry for my English I'm Canadian and I speak french)

That's so funny! I did something very similar on new years eve! Pink on top and then layers from inner to outer lower down on the shaft (more like halfway down, rather than near the root) of purple, blue, aqua, mint, and a lil spray of neon yellow! I also put some mint at the tips of my bangs (which I'm still not sure I love, but I'm making it work lol)

I've noticed that Asian hair even though it looks fine and light but can handle all these Chemicals and bleach without looking damaged or frizzy or even dry!!! o_O

It seems like we always re-dye our hair around the same time. I had also done a root touch up in January, and added two colors making me into a Phoenix. Red, orange, and yellow at the ends. Bold colors. I honestly can’t see myself going back into one sold color or not so bold colors. I just love having colorful hair, and it looks even better while it’s curly. I’m excited to if you’ll consider to keep going bolder. And honey, Pink is bold too. So you’ve always been a risk taker. Still remember when you dyed your eyebrows.

Its probably damaged from dryness. A lot of wavy, curly haired people dont know how to properly take care of their hair. Find a good, moisturizing hair care routine. Moisture and routine are key!

very cute! just wish they had used more yellow and spread out the colors more. I mostly saw pink, blue and a little green when they where lifting your hair to show the different colors...BUT that might also be the cameras fault cause I know when I had rainbow hair it never really looked right on camera.
I wonder how much something like this costs I recently got a root touch up and balayage and it was 300 and took 2 hours. This took 6 hours and is way more challenging for the stylist.

Everyone does rainbow in 6 shades when rainbows are actually 7. But this came out so beautiful, my favorite rainbow coloration, pastel and dreamy, very artistic and unique

what's it like to be blessed with thick strong hair? XD i have thin hair in all respects but i'm still out here bleaching and changing my colors probably too often. i legit removed color this weekend and put in a different one. my hair is trash but it's all fun
