- Sometimes you may feel that you need more sustain for your clean guitar tone. Maybe you also want to maintain the natural sound that comes out of the amp. John Petrucci made both qualities possible while using a compressor by creating his two TonePrints "TransComp" and "EverComp". You should try them!

I love JP videos. He seems like a very genuine and humble guy. I never get the impression he's getting annoyed talking about toneprints or any gear talk.

I've looked for a compressor for a long time never quite finding 'the right one'. Have this one on my board...I finaly found it. Best sounding compressor I've ever heard

Glad you're FINALLY releasing some toneprints for this pedal, but I can't see these toneprints in either the PC or Android app yet!

As an FYI, I have a majesty guitar, and I use the TC Bodyrez pedal designed for acoustic rigs when I use the piezo on the majesty. It gives a really elegant acoustic sound through an electric rig. Just flip the switch on the guitar and step on the pedal, no need to ever switch to an acoustic guitar in a live setting. Cheers

+Drake Nazar sorry man, amp is on the bench getting some mods installed. Been playing acoustic for weeks, ha. I've also never done a video, there would be no production value and shitty sound as id just be using my phone. I could give it a shot though

I downloaded this toneprint and it's very transparent HOWEVER, the Level knob does nothing. Is this by design? Perhaps someone from TC will see this and let me know but if they don't, anyone else get that same no response from the Level knob?

Question: Will the toneprints for the 3 knob Hypergravity Mini work on the 4 knob Hypergravity Compressor? There are about 16 more toneprints for the Mini?

So whatever happened to the "Evercomp" toneprint mentioned in the JP Hypergravity video? Looked for it but couldn't find it. Transcomp is there, so wondering whether the missing Evercomp is an oversight or a deliberate omission.
I liked the pedal until I heard the first "hum", and at that point the Sustain was only at about 11:00. It hummed a lot more when he turned it up. I don't want to deal with that. Already sold a Keeley comp because it hummed.
This makes me want to get the pedal , and the JP2c as well, but that one is just a little too expensive right now ;)

Just bought this pedal based on this video and the Toneprint isn't even available for it, only the mini version. Dumb AF.
I still don’t understand compression :)
Just bought this pedal. Not easy to use. You get bombarded with advertising. And there is no quick start to get you going. You have to commit A LOT of time to this pedal. See how he has that guy helping him? You won't have that guy. You will be sitting on your ass trying to get it to behave the way you want.

It's so strange when you know that TC Electronic belongs to Behringer now. When you look at all the gear Petrucci is using, everything is the best of the best and then he carries around these cheap pedals in a rackdrawer for advertisement.
