The difference was night and day with havelock wool insulating my wheelwells. Without it you Could hear every little piece of gravel flying up into the wheelwell while driving, its startlingly loud - rocks will shoot up into the wheel well and it can sound like a gunshot or something!! ive actually stopped before because i thought something was wrong. I don’t hear it at all with the wool. Great product, glad i didn’t use any foam. With all due respect this video hasn’t done your wool justice!! Would have liked more discussion regarding the wool specifically. There was no basic explanation of what your havelock wool product is, didn’t show any of it, didn’t explain how it acts as sound deadener. It was kind of assumed and implied but it would be good to really spell out the basics for people- this is havelock wool, you can use it as both insulation and a sound deadener, here’s why you should use it in your van. It would be useful to demonstrate how the wool deadens sound by doing a live example with a decibel reader etc. Wrap the wool around a speaker or something , its easy enough to demonstrate. Kind of went off the rails a few times- talked about sound deadening mats and other things more than the wool. in any case guys i love the havelock wool !! Thanks for the video
I agree with Brian, too long. If you are watching you already know/agree that your van needs sound management. So start around minute 5 for when actual information from Jamie starts.
One of the best benefits of adding Havelock insulation to my Revel's doors made a huge difference in interior sound.
