    Would you suggest using noise insullation, first then the wool over that?

  • @flowingdose

    I have heard Havelock wool is protective against moisture, if I were to make a cardboard mould to fit my windows and hold wool incased inside the cardboard should I make air holes in the cardboard to allow for breathing for any moisture build up from the cardboard?

    Hi was thinking of buying some and leaving it uncovered for a bit. How much borax is in the treatment? Do you need ppe installing it? I see in your videos sometimes people wearing cloth masks

    Great video, thanks. I'm wondering if I can use loose washed wool? Also, my can doesn't have cavities. It's just the skin with a couple ribs. I'd need to spray glue the wool on. Do I use the ribs as my guide for depth?

    Would this product be useful in acoustic panels? Have you ever had it tested for sound absorption throughout the frequency range? These might be a great option for those looking for a greener alternative to fiberglass and rockwool.

    How big of a room would 1 pallet do?

  • @phillippia
    @phillippia 4 місяці тому

    I have had this in my shopping cart for a week, but shipping to the east cost is almost as much as the wool! :( I may go with it anyway, but the shipping has left me searching for alternatives. This costs twice as much (or more) as typical insulation, but I am willing to pay it for the peace of mind and quality. But that extremely expensive shipping has kept me from clicking the purchase button. I only need one or two bags so frieght is not an option, either. Do you ever make it cheaper to ship or run discounts to offset the shipping cost for customers that are not as close to your facility? Will you ever start shipping from closer to the east coast to lessen the cost for customers? You have awesome products and really want to use them!

      @SalesHavelockWool 4 місяці тому

      Hi @phillippia. We hear you. Shipping stinks. The boxes are huge and insulation all together does not travel well once produced. We are working on all sorts of alternatives to make life easier (ie shipping cheaper) for our fans on the E. coast. However, very little goes to plan these days so it is difficult to gauge the timing. We appreciate you thinking of us and we'll be sure to broadcast any advantages we're able to create as / when. All the best til then......Havelock

    The loss fill in the wall is not dense engough and it will crush in no time. In remodel house we have a hole in the bottom and the top and it's fill dense to get insulation that last a lifetime. When moisture buildup in the insulation it will get heavier and sag down. We have no way to see if the wall is at the density you fill it and we need to get more material in to do a better job and be sure we get good quality job!
