- My best lap from a recent trip to The Bend International Circuit, my first time at this amazing facility. Not the best driving, but I am an amateur, with more practice I am sure there's a sub 2min in the car.
Car: Mazda MX-5 NB
Engine: 300hp 1.8 VVT Turbo

The max speed is more or less accurate, but my GPS accuracy has been really inconsistent lately. I've grown so frustrated with it that I bought a new one, here's hoping it results it more accurate data now.
@@Bbeavis so you could have been faster ... Noice. Which GPS unit did you get? I'm running an old Qstar 10Hz that seems to be good
@@mostlyuselessgarage I had a Qstarz that worked great for many years, it eventually died. I have since been using a Garmin GLO, and I am rather unhappy with it. This time I have sourced a 'RaceBox mini', I'll see what it's like the next time the car is on track.

I’m not sure it was intentional or not but your camera placement and rear view mirror makes it easy to track your eye and head movement, looked like you’re doing a great job of looking ahead and focusing on corner exit
Thank you. The camera positioning is not strictly intentional, there's not a lot of better places to mount the camera in the relatively small cabin of the MX-5 - but it does work out pretty well I think. I am not as good at focussing forwards as I should be, but hey I'm just an amateur enjoying the driving, hardly an expert racer.
how id you get it alone? are you an oil tycon?
