    As a new RAM owner I'm amazed at how easy they are to work on, thanks for showing how the rear light clusters come out, I was hesitant at pulling them incase there was a hidden screw in the arch somewhere

      They are so easy to work on. Recording this was actually my first time pulling the lighting off the truck.

    Never could figure out why dodge put a gray piece of plastic on the front bumper, I covered my crome and spray painted the bumper black to match the trim on my dodge 2500.

    My truck has no fog light, how do I add one? Are the connecting parts there or do they need to be added? How about adding cab lights? Thanks.

    This is for the sport edition right? Ive been looking and many manufacturers state that their headlights wont fight the sport models.

      Mine is not the sport model. I'm not sure what all does or doesn't fit between the two. Make sure to check fitment for sure, very important.

    My foglights don't light. Is it the switch on dash or bad bulbs? I think it's the switch.

    First:
    Great video and great info!
    Second:
    Clicked on the link provided for the headlights... the link takes me to a 2-piece headlight. It also says it's for sport models only.
    Any info on which headlight this is would be appreciated!

      @@TenzaMotorsports Wow thanks so much!

    • @TenzaMotorsports
      @TenzaMotorsports  3 роки тому +1

      I agree. A lot of the headlights are too modern looking for that design a pick up. I’ve been very happy with my OEM style tinted headlights.

    Do you find that the smoked lenses on the headlights/fog lights lower the brightness compared to the factory clear lenses? 2nd gen are notorious for dim lights from the factory.

    • @TenzaMotorsports
      @TenzaMotorsports  2 роки тому +1

      The factory Lighting is so poor that these aftermarket lenses performed better even with a slight tint. I also used high end light bulbs. Even with these improvements this trucks front lights are marginal. I actually ended up using the led spots when other cars weren’t present.

    My 2001 Ram 2500 has bezel openings for the fog lamps that are smaller than the direct replacement lamps I purchased. It didn't have factory installed lamps. Any idea what to do? Thanks

    • @TenzaMotorsports
      @TenzaMotorsports  3 роки тому

      You can enlarge the opening or try a different location on the truck. If mine had not come with fogs I would hav purchased after market lights and mounted them somewhere else on the bumper. The stock fogs are not that effective. Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the no music 20x extra loud and getting right into it with no bs . A lot of people could learn from that. Great vid!

Because I was able to do one side with a lot of extra maneuvers (cuting the old assembly, removing the brackets on the new one, installing the brackets again etc). But the other side is even more difficult.
