At one time during the initial removal of the bolts along the top of the grill you stated that the plastic backing had broken. I am trying to move the existing grill from a badly damaged hood to a replacement hood from Pull A Part Junkyard. What can I do to either prevent breaking the plastic backing, or can I get a replacement grill from an auto parts store?
You replaced the rusted out mounting bracket for the grill but did not show us how you did it. You just added it at some point. Also, what's with the 4-inch gap between the grill and the bumper for the finished product?
