For preventive maintenance on a hot surface igniter what Ohms would you change out. I mean it’s still working but when should u consider changing it
Hello. My dryer is glowing, and then *clicks* but no flame. Is this a solenoid and igniter issue? Or a gas valve issue?
Yes, It seems like the issue may be with the solenoid and the igniter.

if i never see any glow inside the peep hole it means its my igniter that's dead, right?
Most likely, the issue is with your thermal fuse. If the igniter isn't glowing, it indicates that it's not receiving power. In my experience, or about 99% of the time, this is due to the thermal fuse being the shorted.
