I have the same fridge. My same fan is not running, I also noticed it looks like the fan at the top of the module (behind the air filter) is not running either. Do you think it is as simple as replacing the same fan motor you did? What I mean is is there any chance that if one wasn't running the other would stop? Or do you think it could be a relay or thermistor of some sort?

Once your machine passes the test with no issues why do I still get the error codes on the machine?

Good video, I am on my 3rd control board now, when I bought the Fridge new 6 years ago the board went out 1 month after warranty I was able to find a rebuilt one on Amazon for $89.00 now I see that they are now around $200! Did not see any rebuilt ones available, very poor design with a short life, both failures were due to the LED'd burning out right now it is totally unreadable. I have to put a thermometer in the fridge and freezer to check temperatures, I am able to set the temperatures to default which I am assuming is 0'F for the freezer and 40'F for the fridge as I am not able to read anything. After watching your video, I now see why I am having ice cubes stick together, I assume the gasket cannot be bought without buying the whole assembly? Also my water filter is now stuck in the filter head which I have already ordered the part for, I really like the fridge but the parts just eat you up, fortunately I am able to do a lot of the work myself. Thanks for your video.

My Maytag MVWB765FW3 does nothing when I push those buttons to try to get to diagnostic mode

Mine does not run the test .The00 shoes 07 ,which is Degrees C mode . I scroll to fan test,run test ,thermistor test, run test, water valve test ,run press autofill random numbers show up but no code. go back to 00 to see if a code shows up just the same 07. No ice in ice maker ,Middle draw used to freeze ,now loud obnoxious noise. open bottom freezer stops for 30 seconds or so the starts again. Fridge is only 2years old.

Thanks for all the vids! Question. Have a side by side whirlpool with a defrost problem. Diagnostics mode says thermostat is open. Replaced it but same problem. Tested heater - passed. How to I make sure it’s the board. There is a pigtail in this area. Is this where I test power from control board? Or is there another way to test in diagnostics mode? Thank you! WRS571CIHZ01

Hoping you are still active, I saw your thermistor test 03 gave a temp in the 80’s. My evap coil and evap fan in the fridge has been frosting over and (causing?) the fridge to not get very cold. I defrosted it and the fan now kicks on and off, but when I closed it back up it was already frosting over again. My thermistor temp test gave 55. I’m trying to figure out if I need a new thermistor, RC fan, control board, or all 3.

How long does it take for the glue to dry? Before I can resume use of the dryer?

Mine recently, the display went out, and no ice or water dispenses thanks for this video im gonna give this a shot .So Would replacing the whole part fix the issue?

Amazing video, thank you so much!! Single mother here, and I was able to follow your video step by step and fix my dryer! Only feedback is to mention that one should probably make sure their shafts are smooth becasue my left side one was super rough on one side like it has been worn down by something sharp. I ordered a replacement on amazon that will be here next week.. I dont know if thats a common problem worth mentioning or not. I only noticed because my ride side shaft was smooth, so I figured the left side one was supposed to be too. Thanks again!!!!

I got my drum out, and I don't have the shield. I have nothing on that side of the dryer (i.e., the big white tube thing you have to the left, under the wheel on the left.) Is my dryer missing an entire part?! I have a hole in the back wall that looks like something should have been there.... but there's nothing there.

Awesome video, very informative. I was able to check everything. I'm finding i am not getting power at the N and V anytime during the harvest cycle, Would that be water valve or the icemaker thats bad?

I had the power off the other day to have a tree cut down and also turned off the water to the house. Afterward I started a load of Laundry and forgot to turn the water back on to the house. Ever since my washer has been malfunctioning.

Very helpful video. We took out our jammed ice maker, ran it under hot water and reinstalled it, replacing the spring that fell off when we were messing with it last year. Also used the tip in one of the comments to remove the screw in the guide rails instead of the door (but take a picture so you remember how it fits when you reassemble 30 minutes later! There is a trick to aligning the screw and a fin a few inches away). Anyway, we hit the test button but didnt get water. We decided to wait a few days to see if it reset itself to no avail. Went back to the comments and saw the tip to run a hair dryer on the ice maker while hitting the test button periodically. Wasn't sure where to aim the hair dryer, so moved it around the front and underneath near the test button. 5 minutes later (after hitting Test every minute) we had water spill into the bucket! Wiped the bin dry and 12 hours later we had our first 3 balls in months! Thank you for this video and the comments!!

Thanks for the content! General disassembly videos are highly underrated. I would've never found those clips that hold the top on, without going about it all wrong.

Help please! No errors, all diagnostics seem well- but clothes are soaked at the end . Had a tech come by but he said we need a new machine/ motor. I think it’s just a belt? Where is the belt video maybe that will help me?

what if it won't power on, and if you hold the power button, if just flashes 'door locked'? This happened after trying to run the steam sanitize cycle, and waiting hours for it to finish, turning it off with 2:18 remaining on the clock after 14 hours.
