I know exactly what you mean about experiencing things/places when you aren’t familiar with an area and re-experiencing the same things when you are familiar. I always thought that I was the only one who noticed/felt like this. It’s happened to me during travel (multiple times to same place) but also in living situations/apartments where one day the experience just flips and I feel totally different about it in relation to how I first or once did.
What a beautiful intro!! There's something about your vlogs that always makes me remember why I love the city life. Sometimes when it feels too chaotic I dream of moving to the countryside, but in reality I couldn't ever live where there aren't any neon lights, or traffic lights reflected on wet pavement. Loved this vlog :)

It would be interesting to hear you talk about whether you find that your style alters somewhat depending on the character of the city around you, now that you’ve settled more into NYC life. I feel like the vibe of a city, the architecture, lifestyle, and people in it can affect our taste in very particular ways, the way that we dress differently depending on who we’re seeing, or where we’re headed. I think it has to do with the kind of understanding you have of the context in which you find yourself, maybe?
I wish I could explain how excited I get when you post a new vlog. Truly my favourite day.

I get what you were saying in the beginning of the video! I hate the feeling of being lost or unsure of where to go in a new place and what you’re describing is the opposite. I agree that that comfortability is really rewarding. Honestly that’s when I normally move on which probably says something about my attachment style and (zero) risk aversion 😂

I've had this question in mind since you decided to live both in London and NY: did the environmental impact of flying long distances that often was an obstacle for you ? do you think of it ? I am myslef considering living in another country and having to travel by plane much more frequently so do not consider this judgemental !

Doesn't make much of a difference. The plane would leave and return, regardless of her being on it. The environmental impact is the same.

Your response to the dog lolololol. Lizzy how do you find the sizing of the teva’s the reviews are a bit hit and miss regarding that, and I’m like you in that I have narrower feet (have bought shoes on your rec before so I remember). Loving your New York years! Enjoyyyy x
They are good for narrow feet! The straps are tight but stretchy so I think they would work for most people - my foot did slide backwards in them a little would be my only concern! xx
