Congratulations Mr Reber on your new edition to the orange family- I couldn’t have been more excited for you than a member of my own family- im orange with envy and can’t wait to see it in action !!!
Good looking setup! Congratulations on the 80. I’d like to have one someday. But I’ll just keep working the 40 for now. Wish the 80 has a 6 way blade. Looking forward to watching your videos with it.
Thank you, the 40 will still get used much more than the 80 will, but I am very excited to have it. It would be nice if they offered a 6 way blade for the 80. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening 😀
Been doing the same work you do for the last 5-6 years. So far my KX040 has done everything I have needed. And every time I do rent a larger piece of equipment, I find that the 40 would have done the work just fine. Glad you have a new machine but I bet you anything you will be using the 40 more than the 80. Keep the videos coming! Stay safe. #dirtlife!
I know for a fact I will still use the 040 way more than the 80, I just wanted it for the bigger jobs. I never have liked renting equipment. But I have enough work for the 80 to keep the payment made. Thank you, and have a wonderful day 😀
Starting to look like a Kubota dealership there lol. Nice job on the slippery ramps. Can't wait to see what it ca do. Again good luck with your new machine.
Thank you, we are starting to get a lot of orange around here. I am excited to try the 80 out. I am waiting on materials before I can start it's first job. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day
Thank you, at some point I will do a video on the Peterbilt. It is my dad's truck, we have had it for over 20 years. It used to be his log truck. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
Thats a sweet setup brother. I welded some 3/4 bar stock to my gooseneck to help the dozer from sliding while loading. You might try something like that just to give you a little more traction. Nice 80!
Congratulations on your channel doing well, I don't watch as much as I would like to, but I try to keep up with your videos. Have a great week, and be safe .
Here in uk we mainly move machinery on a truck like that but our ramps and bed are wooden may help with grip and be less scary on the angle if yours were too
That's cool, I think it is so cool that people are watching my channel on the other side of the world. Kind of humbling. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
Not sure what the wt of the 080 with cab and steel tracks is but I imagine going up those wet ramps with that angle for the first time was a bit thrilling..LOL Its a nice rig, have fun and post those videos!
I have been on and off that truck hundreds of times, but the 80 for the first time, not being used to it was a little exiting. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
Oooh, loading wet on a steel ramp. Takes nerves of steel climbing that high. Its gonna be a great stump puller. What's your guess for all up weight on the big truck?
Yes, it was a little slick. We should be around 42,000 gvw that's fairly close to what it is with the dozer, and the dozer should be a touch heavier. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
Yes, I have already made changes, but I haven't loaded it again yet. It should be a lot more secure feeling next time. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
I take it that you don’t like trailers. There was a guy here that had a set-up like this he would haul his little dozer out his tractor and boxblade. I’m going to ask again why u shoes not to have rubber tracks. From looking around your place it shows u have been very blessed in your life
I get into so many tight places that it is hard to turn a trailer around. I just really don't care for rubber tracks. They just don't last very well for the type of work I do and they don't get the traction that steel does. I wouldn't say I have been blessed in life, I have worked very hard starting when I was a teen. I have always kept my debit low and so far made wise decisions.
No way that I would load like that, I would be gray haired very quick. I will stick with my low profile trailer and keep having to find places to turn around. You have nerves of steel, good looking machine tho.
Thank you, I have been on a off that truck with the dozer hundreds of times, I am used to it. Just the new machine is a little different. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
1:44 -- I could swear I heard the sound of something slamming shut...about the same time the ex got squirmy.. :😬 And the skill required to fold those ramps up and down without turning them into spaghetti steel is WAYYY beyond the ease with which you do it on camera. Curious question ..... Would adding an old rubber mudflap at the fold-over joint for the ramps aid traction at that transition ? I get that it's basically the tipping point for the tractor, and that in itself causes a host of pucker factor, but just curious about it on your steel ramps. Keep up the great work -- I love your videos, and congrats on the new digger...
Thank you, I just need to weld another cleat to the ramp at the hing, and that should fix it. We were sucked to the seat fairly tight 🤣 thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
We have the trucks and my dump truck truck is gutless. I used a trailer for several years. I way prefer the flatbeds. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
I know editing is not easy but I will again ask for CC. Makes viewing worthwhile and more fun for those of us with hearing loss. Hearing loss can mean we don’t understand a goodly % of what is spoken. CC helps overcome some of that.
I am still trying to figure out how to make it work. I am working on it. Thank you for your patience. All you missed in this video was saying, "Oh shit" when the machine slid backwards on the ramps. Have a wonderful evening 😀
@@jeramyreberpuredirt7873 I truly appreciate your efforts, and I'm sure others with hearing loos, who also prefer CC, will appreciate it as well. You have a channel that shows real promise and I look forward to your content. Well, loading and unloading a steel tracked excavator up/down overly narrow, wet, steel ramps is a bit more exciting than I normally seek, but I thought you didi well. I have an older KX161-3S, the early version of the 057. Ramps on the Pete would be challenging with rubber tracks. I can't imagine trying with steel. Hope you find a way to improve safety when loading/unloading the 080. We get more brittle as we age.
Aqui no Brasil os operadores de máquina utilizar pedaço de pneus velho pra dar mais aderência entre as exteiras e a prancha, evita escorregar e cai a máquina de cima 🙏
I’ve noticed that on mine. If you want to translate you have to go to the video then the comments. For some reason YT doesn’t let you translate in studio on your comments notification. He did have a good comment about using old tires on ramps for traction.
Those ramps are a bit sketch bud! Maybe camera angle but looked like they could of been spread out more might of helped your tread grab more of the cross bars vs the runner?
Yes, I am going to widen them. I definitely need more surface area. There is very little room for error the way they are now. I designed the bed for the dozer. It needs a little changing to accommodate the 80. Have a wonderful evening 😀
Your just so damn good at this gig. Very smooth. If any one deserved a new 080, its you.
Thank you very much ❤️

Thank you very much. I am excited to try it out. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀
Ah yes, the excitement of a ramp truck and steel tracks! that break over is always entertaining! Nice job of easing into it.
Yes, through the years of the ramp trucks, I have had a few entertaining moments 😉 thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀

Nerves of steel you have. Nice job.
It will take a little getting used to. I have loaded the dozer on and off that truck hundreds of times. But this is a little different.

Looks good. That’s a good way to fold the ramps without killing your back.
Yes, I learned that trick when I got hurt in 1013. Definitely a back saver. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
Good setup Jeramy. Congratulations! That momentary uh-oh was spooky. I might have just bailed and landed on my face.
I've had worse, but it did give me a start. New machine that I have almost 0 time getting used to, it did spook me a little.
Starting to look like a Kubota dealership there lol. Nice job on the slippery ramps. Can't wait to see what it ca do. Again good luck with your new machine.

How you making out Lindsey? Hope you're doing well.
@RichBenson-jx8pt doing good bro. Land clearing has picked up a little. I'll have some videos soon. And very busy with the maintenance work.

Your 040 was standing over in the distance with his back to you. Poor thing getting left behind. I think you should give him to me :)
It has nothing to worry about. It will still get used most of the time. Have a wonderful day 😀
Man that 80 is a machine. Congrats you deserve it.
😂
@dwayneelders9523 Thank you very much ❤️ you have a wonderful evening, and thanks for watching 🙂
That truck 🔥 😍

Pucker factor was high loading that for the first time.

Just curious as to why you just don't use a trailer and pull it with your dump tflatbed. Wouldn't need those to flatbeds.
We have the trucks and my dump truck truck is gutless. I used a trailer for several years. I way prefer the flatbeds. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
Did you fab the bed for that Peterbilt yourself?
Yes, I did about 19 years ago. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day 😀

🙂🤎
How about some horse stall mats bolted to the ramp section.
That slide puckered my butt…… ;-)
I just need another cleat welded to the top of the ramp, it will be fine. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day. 😊
Ps I love your little 4x4 truck. That thing is just too cute.
@@jeramyreberpuredirt7873 It’s a great little rig, I trick it into working for me on occasion. ;-)
Put some type of rubber on the ramps and it might not be as slippery
I need another cleat at the hinge, and it should be fine. Have a wonderful day. 😊
Pucker time! 😂
We were suctioned to the set tight, 🤣my ass didn't move a inch
Not a bad way to haul.
We have hauled the dozer for 30 years this way, and it has worked very well. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful evening 😀

Have you always had a CDL or did you just get it for the new setup? I was assuming before that you didn't have one...
We have had the truck for over 20 years, it's my dad's truck. I run the small truck for the 040 because it's much cheaper to operate.
Could you haul that 080 on the white truck?
@calvin2951 No, it's way too heavy for the little truck. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful evening 🙂
I heard that bleep bleep.
Did you have to change your underwear 😂
Just a little 🤣
I'd put some rubber on the ramps old tire treads
