  • @Mmercier942

At work, when we tow a disable equipement like that, We always put the sling in an X shape. so when we turn a sling is pulling to turn on the right way. Also we plug the steering cylinder in X too so the oil can go to either side of the cylinder and the machine turn better. May be you could put the safety bar, or safety pin in the articulation at the end when loading on the trailer. But after all, you get it done and nothing major happen !

When going up the mountain pulling a running vehicle it would make it much more safer, if the vehicle fells of the mountain, it's going to pull the machine towing it down, but If you manage to eliminate the falling of the road, since it follows the direct path of the machine/vehicle pulling it.
Also you should look for a tracked trailer for the dosers, big enough for a pickup truck, but small enough for your tracked dumptruck

Long time ago when I was 13, my uncle'd come pick me up and get me to help him do amusingly sketchy stuff like this. His excuses, though, were he was always broke - and drinkin' pretty hard. You're neither, Andrew...anyway, I love seeing your similar unconcern for scaredy-pants rules. Yeah, things could really go wrong; let's just hope they don't. Hah! Makes me feel young.

To the whiners and crybabies - Moving this truck involved calculated risks based upon experience and knowledge. When working alone a person must be aware, cautious, ambitious, experienced, capable, skilled, and confident. Also, a person must have the desire to accomplish a task or achieve a goal. And yes, sometimes things can go wrong. It is important to watch carefully and adjust as needed.
This video is an illustration of applied physics.
You critics so easily complain about Andrew’s methods. I ask you this - Do you have 1.3 million people watching you work and play?
    Great job Andrew!

Great old school vid. Solo Andrew biting off more than he can chew. The lab inspectors were there to ensure OSHA guidelines were followed. I hope much rejoicing ensued. I wonder what kinda dump trailer can be made from that 🤔

Yes,yes I did. I've watched all of his videos. That's why I said "he's very hard on everything he operates. Which is OK because it's his equipment and he can do anything he wants with it. Apparently you somehow think I'm trying to trash him in some way?? Quite the contrary, he's incredibly talented and resourceful Because I've watched all his videos, my opinion is "he's pretty hard on his stuff" 🤡@@xxn0cturn3xx

This thing is getting cut in half for a back half trailer..front’s probably going to the scrap yard..there’s no need to treat it like a piece of usable equipment, just drag it and load it and you’re done.
