Amazing what you can move with a big enough Cat front loader plus learning the secret to getting all the wheels to turn in the same direction. Thought that truck would be a permanent fixture on the mountain. Glad to see it being repurposed.
That was craaaazy good loading skill getting the hauler onto the lo-boy trailer. It looked easy from the drone view but Andrew’s view was from the ground with an obstructing turned hauler cab obscuring the trailer edges. Awesome job, AC. Another great video!
At work, when we tow a disable equipement like that, We always put the sling in an X shape. so when we turn a sling is pulling to turn on the right way. Also we plug the steering cylinder in X too so the oil can go to either side of the cylinder and the machine turn better. May be you could put the safety bar, or safety pin in the articulation at the end when loading on the trailer. But after all, you get it done and nothing major happen !
And when we tow we always have another equipement with egual or superior weight behing the towed vehicule to help stop or to make sure that the towed vehicule will not be crashing in the front one :P
