This was incredible! I felt so immersed in the world. As the wanderer traveled, I felt concerned for his well-being and grew attached to his character. Beautiful scenery and the music was well done too.

Surprisingly smooth, enchanting. Much potential here. Perhaps; stronger protagonism and supportive characters. All in all; very nice.

Suko, I'm beyond words. Your film is such a jewel. So magical, with such a melodious rhythm of scenery. I always have the same sentiment at the end of your films: I want to see more, I want to continue the journey ahead. Excellent work. A true piece of art.

What an absolutely beautiful film, like, REALLY nice, great costumes, locations too. I think that you're setting up a really cool world too if you continue with this. One thing I would say is, the stone, while it certainly is interesting, there is no weight to it (figuratively)
Had you have set up the fact that though it's mysterious, there are real stakes to what it can do to him and his loved one, or what someone can do with it if it gets into the wrong hands, that would not only motivate the main character, but also get the audience invested. When there are stakes and we experience why those matter to him, you'll really get us invested.
Even he tells us it might just be a stone, and the druid just drops it and leaves it, so there are no stakes to all this, so it's hard to get invested in his quest. I don't get why he would even continue the quest. It's a lost star from another realm, does that mean anything important? it's abstract and again, doesn't hold any weight. He was told what it was, why is he continuing the journey? where to? why? he was told what it is.
Basically, we need to understand and experience why his quest matters. By the way, how does he even know it's important? because he found it in a heart, that is cool btw, that it was in the heart of something, but you needed to build on that to something meaningful.
Instead of explaining the world, the druids and the east kingdom and what not, you should of used that time to set up, like I said, why this stone matters, why he, this character needs to uncover the mystery, the stakes that will happen if he doesn't and then escalate from there.
Also, the bit with his wife doesn't hold any weight, you could take it out and it would have no effect, it's not like he's going on this journey to serve her in some way. She doesn't come into the story later, it's just not necessary. This isn't about him getting over her passing, so it's just filler. Don't get me wrong, I love lots of things about this, I just need a reason to care.

Well...the backgrounds were absolutely stunning. the camera work was nice, but really this could have been 5 minutes long. too much meaningless wandering as filler. And we never really got an answer that explained anything.

It was good until the druid spoke. Beautiful music (Scott Buckley never fails) and lush scenery gave it a good fantasy feel, but the druid... ugh- oh, and that pigsticker sword gave me a giggle.

Ahhh, but was it love in the first place? What compassion did he have to loose to the druid if he would kill another simply for treasure to buy a bride? His love was not so strong to last the long slow work to earn such treasure was it? LoL. Foolish man. He still seeks to cheat.
~ Forgive my poor poetry I couldn't resist.
💀 I liked the extra discourtesy to the dead, the land, and the dwellers of the woods. It really cemented how deeply and inherent to his personality his disrespect is. Being lost to ethics is quite lost, isn't it?

I've read, and watched fantasy from the best to the worst. And this was well done, with great enthusiasm I'm sure. You did a great job with limited resources. The sword wasn't quite believable, but again most likely limited resources. The druid is where I have a critique. The last of the druids wouldn't be cheerful, or speak with any cheerfulness. Being the last of your kind is definitely a somber thing to be. And when ask "are you a druid", wouldn't reply with their name saying they're the last of their kind. Their reply would be a somber "I am the last of them". Or something like that. But overall you did well, and with time, experience you will get better. I'd say this was a decent story, and visually it was some beautiful scenery that fit perfectly as a fantasy landscape.

Bleh. Derivative, the narration wooden, spent too much time *telling* us what the story was supposedly about & still went nowhere, for a guy who had supposedly been living in his clothes & travelling for however long on a tiring, difficult quest, his clothing looked suspiciously new & clean. He had no pack to live out of, either. Nothing about his kit made practical sense. The scenery was gorgeous, though. You chose some really beautiful locations.
