Mate, I go out zander fishing 3,4 times a week and i can tell you that that zed you caught was a more than decent one!! Well done you!! Take care and tight lines!
Thank you. I have been incredibly fortunate in my catches this year. The Zander was a very special ‘first’ for me and I’m glad I was able to share the catch. Phil
Cheers from Maine USA; I just found your wonderful videos and they are great; you have a voice and commentary that are wonderful; I like your dog. I am an older fly fisher to disabled to fish but these are great to watch; I used to ty flies and now in the future I'll be damed if I will not try again; I gave all my kit to my nephew so I'll start over. My name is Peter, Donna's husband and I am on Donna's computer and I can't wait to find more videos; thanks
Peter, Brilliant to hear that you’re inspired to pick up the rods again. Once an angler always an angler. Let us know how you get on when you visit the river banks again. PS the dog loves coming fishing so you'll be seeing more of her. Phil.
Can't believe I got to my age without catching one of these fine fish. They reside quite a distance from where I live but I do intend to target them again soon. Phil.
Thanks carpypete. I wasn't really expecting to get such a good sized Zander on my first attempt. I was extremely lucky and had been given some top advice by local anglers. I really want to target Zanders again this winter. Tight lines in the Fens piking. Phil
@@anotherangleUK cheers Phil, as I’m sure you know already but there’s some right beasts to be had if your lucky there. My first session was a big blank but more boats than you can shake a stick at 🤦♂️😂
Well done. I'd be over the moon with that fish. Like you it's a fish I've always wanted to catch, but live about 400 miles from the nearest water. Really need to give them a go the next time we're down south.

Cracking canal Zed
Thank you. I'm planning to get back there soon and see if its big brothers want to come and play. I was lucky to get that beauty on my first attempt.
Nice first Zander, and on a sea bait too. Bigger than my first. Off to the fens this winter. Mainly piking, but will have a go for zander

Congratulations on your first Zander, I’m hoping to be down that way myself in a few weeks or so.
Thank you, I hope you manage to catch a nice example too. Tight lines, Phil.
