Nice is this in fishermans was up in the bay a couple of days ago and got some 1-2kg calamari ,4 kingfish , 3 Mack tuna and a couple of bonito .the bonito and Mack tuna were small though not like they are when they are in season and the kingfish were 70cm+ biggest one was 76cm

TJ kIM thanks👍 i haven't fished around the sydney area for squid i fish port stephens area but a good spot is some where with a weedy bottom with patches off sand and clear water i find is the best all so some jetty are good ones with lights at night attack squid other wise ask your local tackle shop there mite be able to help you cheers🎣👍
a area of a lot of kelp weed deep clean water little water movement waves not to many snags last hour of light is best need good jigs with a glow in them I use a 9ft rod with a 5000 reel 12lb maxima line caught thousands of squid good luck hope this helps.

Never knew you could buy custom scents. Specially for squids, usually just using a jig with no bait works fine. Might have to try that out.

Nice is this in fishermans was up in the bay a couple of days ago and got some 1-2kg calamari ,4 kingfish , 3 Mack tuna and a couple of bonito .the bonito and Mack tuna were small though not like they are when they are in season and the kingfish were 70cm+ biggest one was 76cm
