Basically body types are a super oversimplification and most of it really just depends on your nutrition and training. You can easily be many body types throughout your life time just by improving or worsening your diet and training. Of course there is the genetic component but that is in no way described by the body type "hypothesis."

We can all observe the results in daily life there are many things that can determine how you look or how your metabolism acts but to keep it simple it's easy to categorise body type in these 3 categories. I didn't once say you can't change or alter your body type with varying levels of success but the fact still remains most people fit into one of these categories. Unless you're slim, in your early 20s, work out a lot, eat well and think everyone that doesn't is fat and lazy and they choose that 😂 then I will excuse you for being young and dumb. When I was in my 20s young and slim I eat well worked out a lot and was very fit, Thai boxing 3 times a week 2 hour sessions plus running on my off days and other exercises however after years of this, I still did not have a 6 pack. Why? because I am endomorph and cutting weight or looking pealed or shredded does not happen for me no matter how well I eat or how much I exercised. Its possible to achieve but way way harder than for other body types. However I can carry and build more mass than other body types, if I want to gain 20lbs I can do so with relative ease where my 10 stone pal that could really use the extra mass cannot. It would be possible for him to gain mass but it would be much harder for him than for I. With that concluded love yourself for who you are and don't let social media or public opinion tell you what you should look like. Be strong happy and healthy whatever your size ❤️

Good to see people starting to expose the fakeness instead of capitalize on it. Most of those before and after pics for supplements are taken the same day or the next day. Always used my knowledge to help prove those that seem too perfect are just that. I could wake up looking bloated with no definition and by lunch look like the cover of muscle and fitness. Let's praise those that worked to achieve goals not just manipulated a photo shoot.

I’ve just done 30 mins of push up exercises following a tik tok guy, an 8.5 k jog and 30 mins abs exercises from a different tik tok guy and I feel like absolute crap about myself after the ab exercises I was hopeless at them. I should feel proud of myself but I despise myself now. There’s some nuggets of great info on social media but overall ..my god it is poison for the mind. Please do something for people starting exercise. You cut through the crap and seem to want to help people not stroke your own ego. Great video.

How do I stay motivated when exercising. I watched your stay motivated video but what if I can't imagine. When I close my eyes I see black. I thought everyone saw it until my sister said don't you hate it when you can't get to sleep because all you do is see pictures. I thought she was crazy for saying that but I researched it is most people can. Some can't though. How do I stay motivated when I can't picture my success

    • @lumarious

Don't know if this will work for you, but try writing it down somewhere, and read it when you need motivation. Literally put it in front of your face when you're doing pushups, squats or whatever.. Keep it visible while you workout!
Hope you find a way to get after it!

the real success means that there is no such thing as motivation, there is discipline. Simple as that, you train your discipline and you do it, you get up and do it. Just like a day at job.. there are days we prefer to be home but we still go to work, simply because we have to do it. Want to do or not, it doesn´t matter, you just do it. Nike slogan been saying that for years.. "Just do it"

The crazy thing is, outside of the pump, the after is how many people would see you in person. As you said, what the camera captures is only as good as the light you put in front of it. And the display matters too, but the human eye moves to capture more data from different angles, which the camera can't really do. So, our eyes and cameras see somewhat different things. I like to mess with people by telling them that the mid looking photos are what they actually look like, and what we see with our eyes is photoshopped by our brains.
It's a very interesting subject. What we see and how it appeals to us depends on how well our brains stitch together the images received from our eyes, how reliable those images from our eyes even are, and even how we're feeling at the time. Can we really believe our eyes?
Your video just reminded me of that. #natureislit

Great video, just add that posture change for the picture includes abs contraction (everybody does it) and the strongest sources of light must come from the same direction to gradually 'reveal' the shape of the muscles.

  • @deenkay236

Hahaha loved your video man. And there's so much to it...
When I was like 32 or 33 years old I myself noticed if there is like only 1 light source and it on the ground pointing at you at a 45 (ish) degree angle it makes you look way more buff than you actually but I haven't tried it out with "optimal lighting" where you have multiple light sources around you (just like you would in a foto shoot probably).
And dont forget the filters bro. I took this picture with the one light source from below and put on 2 filters and I looked like I'm shredded af.. Even though I'd consider myself being "in good shape for my age".
This was the moment I realized that there is A LOT of cheating going on concerning the "fitness level" of ppl on the internet ;)
