When I choose Serial number, Windows version on the HO website, there's no Card Reader driver option afterwards.

Wait, I take back my last statement. I had to use Internet Explorer instead of Google. Once I did that, the HP website worked great and I was able to download the driver. My HP pavilion recognizes my SD cards again. THANK YOU!

your SD card it either broken or your reader is physically broken.
