As someone who used to be a beast on freedom, if you can’t do the automatic switch tech at the end consistently, you can instead hold block, m1 or m2 and then switch there
It's a high price high reward style, it's so complicated you need to focus both on your enemies patterns along with how you should counter combo it with your ability
I playing on freedom pretty long amount of time, and i can say, you didnt found one more tech. You can literally COMBINE Flicker and Smash mode in a ONE m1 string. It can help you pretty much if you start clicking your opponent but as you know, your opponent probably will start blocking it and this is a moment where you can switch on smash and keep shred him in the same m1 string. Its absolutely unavoidable, it also allows you to end your flicker m1 string by smash m2 and even more! If you time it right then this bug with faster smash m2 will happen too! But with flickers animation and speed. This tecnique can be pretty hard to do for the first time, but when you master it, it will be just a regular move. All you need to do, its WHILE you throw another m1 in your M1 STRING click m2 A BIT LATER (like 0.1 second delay) and spam your R button and after that you will switch on smash and keep your string! All you need its just start clicking again. It also work from smash to flicker too of course, so you can completely confuse your opponent by yours "Mode jangling". Good luck to all who want master this incredible style and i wish you all to stay free and save some patience for practice! (One more reminder, as i already said, it can be hard to pull off for a first time, if you press m2 wrong you can accidently throw heavy punch. On other hand if you switching too long your opponent can just escape from string, so i highly recommend to get used for timing on dummies or friend)

You can switch to flicker and guarantee hitting flickers by immediately doing the switch when you land your first m1, because the first m1 stuns your opponent JUST long enough for you to switch and continue the normal string

Doesn’t whirlwind and flickers m2 do the same damage and it’s really bad but the end lag of their m2s are pretty solid, actually above average speed. I tested there m2s and it’s gonna take 25 m2s to get a knockdown. And with most styles yes even hands low takes 17 m2s to knockdown an opp.
i actuallly do hit n run for freedom and i use block to change skill so when an enemy gets closer i can change my skills to flicker and i use whirlwind back dash away and also use it for perfect dodgings so i can use smash this was my 2nd first style i use and i use flicker alot until i know how to use it but great vid give me a lil tip i can use :D
