Mook brings a warmth to this old widowers heart. A lady that ain't afraid to get grease under her nails or bust a knuckle turning a wrench is a rare and wonderful treasure
Regardless of who's channel, it's a lot of fun to watch Mook and Kevin together. I don't know why but the funniest part was the screwdriver disintegration.
You two each gained a subscriber today. When mook got out of the truck and smiled. I instantly recognized that you suffer from the same affliction as myself! My main passion is for dirt bikes bit I like anything that has been put out to pasture that still has a chance. Your content is very relatable. You two act naturally. It's hard to describe. Not gonna lie, actually got teary eyed when Mook drove it round the field. What a fantastic machine!. Thats why I follow Mook and Kevin. For the fantastic vehicles they save, and the end result of seeing something come back to life. Well done guys! x
You two are a pair of enablers for the illness you both have, acquiring old farm trucks left derelict. Great job getting the old girl to run & drive. What a team. Thanks.
In the 1950s, a guy who didn't live that far from my parents house had an old truck (from the 1930s/40s) sitting in his yard. My Dad stopped by the guy's house one day to ask him what he planned on doing with the truck. The guy told my Dad that the truck hadn't been run for several years, but if my Dad could get it running, the guy would sell it to my Dad for $10.00. My Dad managed to get the truck running, so he got the truck for $10.00. This was before my time. I never saw the truck, but I have a photo of my Dad standing next to the truck. Enjoy the videos of you and Kevin bringing back "junk" trucks back to life!
I got no pony in this race, but I am constantly amazed at the joy these kids bring to me; like watching yer own succeeding. Good luck with the '64, hope she goes home with you, and God bless.
Absolutely love those old 50's 60's Ford trucks. They just never seem to die, they will run with hardly any maintenance. Those Y blocks were a real jewel, they have a sound like no other and ya just have to love them. Great video Mook, I really hope you can get it.
I had a '54 Ford Crestline and a 292 out of a truck (Forged crankshaft)that got put in.T-85 tranny and 4.26 rear end. I got 16 tickets in that car. Street raced the heck out of it.
Y'all are awesome! I just started watching y'all's junkyard digs channel about a week ago, and I plan on starting my own channel at some point. Y'all give people like me hope. My first revival will be my wife's 1984 Z28 Camaro t-top that hasn't run in over 10yrs. After being fully repainted by a guy that was supposed to restore it. He let it sit and didn't finish the job. So now it's my turn. Keep turning wrenches y'all are an amazing team and an inspiration to all is motorheads.
Haven't watched one of Mook's vids lately. She has become quite the pretty young lady. Raising a daughter that's one of the best welders I've ever seen and a good mechanic, you wake up one day and realize she's not your little girl anymore. You and Kevin keep up the good work. I love these what I call old start vids. Thanks guys.
I must say I’m a Holden / GM guy but that y block sounds very cool. I haven’t heard one of them before and it has an awesome note, even with (or maybe because of) a probably clapped out exhaust! Nice trenches Mook.

I'd love to see you guys go back there and revive that F150 with the 460 and a plow. I'd want that one! Depending on if it isn't rusted out underneath and the transmission shot from plowing.
That's got my vote too. Minus the plow, small lift, real bush/sand/mud tires and I would be a happy camper. Not crazy on the lift, I want it to tow a monster camper.

Would love to see a restoration of that dump truck - great find! Hopefully my wife *won't* hear about your day care idea - but if she does I'm going to make sure a lazy-boy, x-box, microwave, loaded freezer and beer cooler come standard - that would probably work out pretty well... 🤣
@@ericbrown5354 my dad had two. One for parts. The main one was a light blue and white interior. The other was gold. It was wrecked by my uncle. Kevin, the oil pump on that engine is external and the valve can be shimmed for more oil pressure. Great video! [Edit] Also, when you change oil the first time, swap one quart of oil for a quart of ATF. Won't hurt that engine, I'm not endorsing this treatment for newer engines.
