I’ve grown to really love watching your channel. I’m 75 years old and I drive a 2017 Corvette C7. I’m impressed with how much you know about automotive stuff. When Derek fro Vic Grip Garage referred to you as the king of bringing cars and trucks and other motorized stuff Back to life I gained a whole buttload of respect for you. I also really like Mook. That was my nickname when I was a kid.
I’ve seen this so many times-I never tire of watching it-mook, if you’re looking 👀 at it like old times- I must say-you were good at changing the gears on these trucks-and didn’t miss a trick with them ! Kevin is lucky to have a woman like you!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Something endearing about Mook. The fact that she finds it fun and laughs when dealing with non new, non latest and non greatest items you know she appreciates. Something tells me she is not the narcissistic egotistic, materialistic and bragging type.
I'm just frightened that we're going to find out that Mook has a PhD, and teaches graduate level physics at the University of Iowa. So, this is all an act.
Mook is so enjoyable to watch she is sassy cool a car junking country girl gorgeous sweet and the character and the personality she has is very unique I love watching her videos
It make me feel good about my dreams and desire about the older rigs but I've noticed your years that you love are the same as the years that I do keep up the good work I'll keep praising you and hopefully someday I can patch you on the back and hug you and tell you how well you've done

You are fearless ! Love it 👍 as you've proved and continue to , no girl should be afraid to do anything she would ever want to do . Still looking forward to a rescue of the B61 Mack from the salvage yard you visited with Kevin ( junkyard digs ) . We would love to see you work through its gears . That would be epic . I am super proud of her!!!!! Most kids now a days wouldn't know the first thing about driving a standard Let alone a 4 speed with no breaks. She was killing it . good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome!! Again Mad respect for the both of you Mook and Kevin!! I bought a 72 F100 with a straight 6-300 no power brakes, no power steering, manual shift with an H shift pattern so big the passenger had to spread their legs to get it in fourth lol. back in the early 90’s for $500. I bought it like you guys, site unseen out of a field. Put a new battery and a tank of gas and drove it 1100 miles through the mountains of Utah and Colorado (with only front brakes) didn’t skip a beat. Drove it for another 10 yrs before I up graded because it just wouldn’t fit 3 kids car seats. The only thing I did to it the 10 years I had it was fuel and brakes. Damn I miss that ol’girl! Again mad respect for y’all, can’t wait to see what y’all do with the ol’trucks.
These days, the best thing to prevent car theft is that clutch pedal. so many young people never learned to drive a standard. It is all my Dad would own. 4 speeds, 5 speeds and even a "three on the tree". That last one would stop almost any young person, except Mook and Digs, of course. Great to see young people who obviously love the older vehicles.
GRHmedia, wish I knew a person like that. I like old trucks especially fords and she the girl is pretty cute driving the truck. Old fords are great cuz I drive a 95 7.3 Powerstroke and I’ve done allot of work to it already and it ran when I got it.
I was wondering why he was using the granny gear. He called it a granny gear. I'm not a car or truck guy but I knew that was the extra low and tough gear. Yeah, the granny gear is just used for power and not in everyday driving. So, granny is first gear then?
When I was growing up, we had a 1/2 Ford truck with a 6 cylinder and a manual four speed. We would take a Load of corn to the mill to get it ground up for cow feed. So we have 2000 pounds of ground corn in the bed, and a steep hill to get out of the mill. Granny gear was mandatory. Once rolling, we had another steep hill to climb before ever getting into fourth.
She does a great job of driving the old beater ! Looks like a 4 speed with a granny gear . Shifts like a 3 speed , don't use granny gear , start out in second , geared as if it's a low / first gear . Only use granny gear for starting out hauling a huge heavy load , then quickly shift into " low " ( second ) . But basically use second to start out from a dead stop when empty . Engine seems to be a late 60's/early 70's. Ran the engine number ??
The 352 is a good motor. The 300 six are indestructible. Mook isn't afraid to jump behind the wheel. Anxious to see what you'll do with the old Ford dually. Thanks for sharing
Lets fix the dog leg and find the pto activation rod on the f350 ... I love the patina! Maybe do a rear main seal on it... Give that old farm truck some much earned respect.... Maintenance

Dear Mook: I watched your repair/revival of the 1978 Ford Pickup that was in a flood. It was remarkable you were able to get that truck running at all. You have a delightful personality and smile, which helps with your presentation. I did notice you used a razor blade to strip the battery cables for the new connectors. While that works, it is dangerous and using a quality wire stripper would be safer. Maybe working with fewer tools (viewers don’t know what you really have) looks entertaining, but it is also more risky for your hands. Be safe and keep smiling. You are lovely.
Love this video! I have a 1969 Ford F100 short bed Ranger, which is why I clicked on this video, but god, she is totally gorgeous and funny-definitely a bonus!!!
That 1978 Ford is a keeper. Big fan of those 300 cubic inch inline 6 cylinders. My brother had one in a 1989 with a five speed,, loads of torque and 20-22 mpg on the highway
Cool video. My dad taught me and my 4 brothers and little sister how to drive a stick-shift on an old 1959 GMC pickup that belonged to his father. I just recently fixed up a 1968 Ford Galaxie with a 4 Speed manual. I am teaching my 16 year old daughter how to drive it now. Its a lost skill I believe every new driver should learn .Good job.
I had a 71 F-250 Camper special when I was 17 with a 360 and a np435. It had been swapped I believe to a standard. Was an absolute blast letting my mom drive it lol.

Might be a sheered spring perch bolt, cheap/easy fix. Good job Mook! You're famous!
Both the rear spring perches on my 64' F-350 are completely rotted out.

One little secret about them 4 speeds with granny gear, you usually can start out in 2nd gear when you take off it doesn't hurt anything.
I was wondering why he was using the granny gear. He called it a granny gear. I'm not a car or truck guy but I knew that was the extra low and tough gear. Yeah, the granny gear is just used for power and not in everyday driving. So, granny is first gear then?
@@jaxflfreebird yeah granny gear is first.
Man, you don't need to start off in granny gear, you take off in second gear !
