With the crocodile clips, you could use some thick, bendable wire - one end crimped to the clip, the other to a small block of wood. A couple of them in the same block and would be great to hold small components when soldering/glueing etc.
Hello Rob....a good idea for tool rail (and I use in my kitchen and downstairs loo for towels) is a 15mm copper pipe with stop end soldered on and some munsen rings. Its a great way of making varying lengths hangers. Thanks for the video as usual..... I do like the tool clips. I also use bulldog clips for gloves and cloths and sandpaper offcuts. Thanks for the content! see you on shed space!
MAGNET WRISTBANDS…. Dead handy if you drop a box of screws, to help you pick them up, without picking up sawdust and other crap! Gotta love a middle aisle!
Enjoying these videos, I love dialling in my workshop and making tools organised and accessible. I have recently started using magnets a lot more, particularly magnets with hooks as they are versatile for using the slab sides of tool cabinets and tool chests.
Thanks Rob, interesting idea using the rope for tool storage, I have a similar set-up to you utilising an old kitchen door handle, works well, I also made a storage rack for hammers using exhaust brackets from Halfords at +/- £1 each !
Cheers buddy😃.. hope you’re good ! A man of your experience and expertise.. Id bet you’ve tried every storage technique out there my friend. Take care , speak soon Rob
@@WeekendShedHead I don't know if I've tried everyone but we all got something to learn everyday but great to hear from you and great watching my friend
I also have the wristband (same design but does have internal strap), and really useful when switching between bits with impact driver. I store it on the magnetic whiteboard from Lidl as easy to find then. The tool clips may also be good for catching door handles that are next to walls. At 99p, (even at 1.69) postage will be more than the item 😂 Enjoyable video as always, thanks for sharing.
Hi Rob, got some great finds there from Lidl and Aldi middle isle. The rope looks a good bargain and those tool clamps, never know what you find in Lidl and Aldi. Thanks for showing your bargains, catch you and Mark tomorrow night, till then take care mate
Magnet , the wrist magnet would be good screwed to a wall for tools at that price. Changing the subject, I was trying to think who you reminded me of and then I remembered . The guy off Fishin N Stuff . Great helpful channel thanks 👍
Magnet, experiments in the shed (or in my case small basement) are a lot of fun! I need to check out Lidl more often after watching all the deals you find, don't think we have Aldi in Sweden.
Crocodile clips on a kebab stick in polystyrene is great for spraying small parts. The rope worked well but I'm a French cleat snob lol and those mag armbands are a no for me great video though Rob 👍
bit of advice @6:33 that paint, i got the dark silver/gray version recently about 4-6 week ago to paint some reclaimed metal sheets on the side of my man cave/shed/workshop i built now its not bad stuff i used a gloss foam mini roller to apply mine took a couple of coats but no drips and looks awesome on the outside, anyways make sure you are in a very well ventilated area as when i used mine i was outside but pretty close to it as my man cave is 1 meter from the fence line and it got me high as a kite at first i didn't notice but after 2-3 coats i noticed as i was staggering around the garden like i was drunk and my head was thumping.
Magnet......new to watching your channel & I love it, bought the Parkside Lathe for the bargain price of £54.99 after watching your review. Then went out & bought the Aldi Clamps as well. Love the middle aisle LOL.
Magnet. Congratulations for reaching 5000 subscribers. Keep up the good work and keep making these fun and useful videos. Best of luck and soon be celebrating with 10,000 subscribers! Take care and stay safe, Joe
for tape storage, i use a 2 ft length of wood, 1inch by 1/2inch then space 1/2 x 1/2 inch to the rod, at interval so it looks like a very rough fork, screw to the shed wall, then hang tape over the sticks like a hoop game 3 or 4 per rod, if you see what i mean
Magnet Seriously though magnets are great. Like you used your clips for holding instructions I have some magnets I put on old door handles that I can then use to stick instructions to my metal racking, works great and easy to remove with the handle.
@@WeekendShedHead Losing them? Oh yeah, I know that pain. At least with a well organised shop while you might not know where something is, at least you know it's tidy! lol
Magnet. Have you considered using magnetic tool strips? I got my first one from Lidl Parkside. I have three more from Temu. They can be attached with screws to the edge of wood. I use them for holding a variety of drill bits, some tools like a combination square and hardware for current projects? Thank you!
Yeah I’ve got about 10 of them on the tool wall, really good aren’t they 👍👍 I’ve 2 that are about 8 years old and still going strong.. thanks for the tips mate 👍👍 cheers Rob
Magnet.......Hey Rob...... I also use bulldog clips in the shed to hang gloves and snadpaper and the like...... I did like those tool clips...... thanks for the content as usual and see you on shed space!
