Hope you and your family are well! Just so you know I was Homeless Vet with old Lexus. But my Es 300 got stolen. Now I have a 2002 Toyota Echo. So now I am "Old Vet who travels" keep making videos. I really enjoy them.
If the tensioner has good movement when removing the belt and the pulley isn't making noise, I wouldn't replace get. You can also detach and replace the pulley from then tensioner assembly.
Hi, thank you for the video. I have a 2015 Venza with 2.7 engine. Do you know which water pump part number should I get? I am getting 16100-09515 and 16100-39515 with my VIN and I am not sure which is correct. It seems like the difference between these two is related to towing but I am not sure.

That little breaker bar idea with the socket and extension is brilliant! I’ll definitely use that in the future. Great video as always!
Thanks!

awesome vid.
Thanks for the visit!
I did the job but I forgot to get the air bubbles out, do you think that could cause me problems?
The bubbles will work their way out. Keep checking the coolant level in the radiator after cool down.
@@hardlymovingprothank you.....
Great video 👍
Thanks!
Please explain.. Why I should replace the tensioner with the pump? I have a 2010 Venza 207k miles.
Well, now I’m confused.. googles for toyoy]ta Venza, somehow got a video for a highlander, LOL.. Still, should I replace the tensioner too?

Thanks a bunch!!
Was that just one center bolt holding on the tensioner?
Yup!
5:05 Nice gasket.
Never fails!
How long or hard where you tapping that bushing in cause I’m definitely having trouble with mine
Don't know what bushing you're referring too.
@@hardlymovingpro the bushing on the alternator you were hammering on.
What was the reason for replacement? Was this just preventative maintenance? I have a 12 Highlander w/190K miles.
Water pump was leaking and the tensioner pulley was making noise.
Did your motor have the VVT-I issue?
Not at all.
Is this the same in a 2007 highlander 4 cyl. ?
Should be.
is this the same engine with toyota venza 2.7 engine?
Yes.
thanks sir
How much does this job usually cost??
Can't really say. Maybe between $300 - $400. I've seen huge price swings.
Question?
