I need a felt wheel from you and the tapered felt wheel next as well as a kangaroo tail hanging strop...thank you so much for the education on the science of knife sharpening according to your personal experiences. You are an excellent teacher btw.
Thanks mate. My honest advice is to buy what we have now in stock. Because by the time we have the square-edge felt wheels, we may sell out the taper felt wheels. We rarely have all items in stock, because we make the next batch of an item after we sell what we have made, and there is always a wait period between the batches, we are not retailers.
I wonder if the black stone or the normal and japanese stone will sharpen stuff like niolox or m390 or must one use the diamond wheels? And where do one buy the felt wheels?
You can grind bevels on the black SB stone wheel, but must set edge on a CBN or diamond wheel - explained in my Knife Deburring book, available in English and German. knifegrinders.com.au/11Shop.htm
@@knifegrindersaustralia5158 okay its since it will tear out the vanadium carbides instead of cutting them i reckon. If i do 95% of the work on the blackstone from tormek will a shapton glass hr do the rest by hand?
Felt wheels and CBN grinding wheels buy from us knifegrinders.com.au/11Shop.htm Felt wheels will be available on 20-24 December. Email us to get into the waiting list for CBN wheels.
Question: can't I just remove the grinding wheel for long knives and just have the felt wheel on the one side? I understand I'll only have a load on one side of the machine, but would that be a problem OR not recommended?
Hi, thanks for the videos! Do you have any plans to produce a 200mm Rock Hard Felt wheel for the T4? If not, would it be possible to turn down the 250mm felt wheel to 200mm (e.g. with the TT-50)? It would be great to be able to remove the wire edge without re-adjusting the settings on the T4. Thanks!
Shipping is included in the price that you see on our website. World-wide flat rate. The price that you see includes the FVB, software and delivery by Express Post.

Great information as always. Did you guys ever use T7’s at all?
Toooop!
Do you sell the extension shaft separately?
You have link for felt wheel, adapter?
Hi, thanks for your videos. Just wondering does the felt wheel fits on the T4 with the extension shaft at the honing side? Thank you

Sure. That is what we've been doing for years, and what everyone who does not have the extension shaft does.
