Drew, the Devilish Encampment encounter was NERVE WRENCHING, not to mention the creepy factor of you singing ring-around-the-rosy while shooting and running was absolutely one of the most terrifying things I have watched on UA-cam of someone playing a horror game.
What I, as a stalker fan, noticed about this mod is that a lot of subtle changes to animations, like head movement, some slight turning etc. make this game feel very fresh
Never stop playing this game, with all the respect to you and your UA-cam channel it this is by far the best content you’ve made this far! Awesome video great editing very good intro and just awesome gameplay!
the best series i’ve seen in a while, love how you actually think and act like a new stalker in the zone, slowly gaining more and more experience. love to see that transition. great edits. only thing i’d change is the western music. stalker series are known for great guitar tracks. if you don’t like these i can also recommend russian post punk music. in my opinion it’ll fit the vibe much better. once again, thanks for creating something this entertaining and engaging. great job, can’t wait for the next episode
Admitting he didn't know what loot crates were five seconds after casually erasing his first chimera from existence - while taking zero damage - has got to be the craziest sequence in any video on this channel
damn, that ending where the monolith guy snuck up on you like that. Man, I absolutely love the Stalker AI. Only AI where I legit cannot predict what they are going to do, they quick peek, sneak around, and flank so well.
I can't believe one of my favorite youtubers also knows Shiey! I love his videos, some of them are insane but I respect him for the fact that he actively discourages people from doing what he does and would censor information that might give away the places he visits.
Have joyfully been following this series parallel to my own playthrough because it's so well stitched together (albeit suffering at times from a somewhat confusing edit) and now I'll simply have to comment on the track playing at the start of the game. That is an exquisite choice, perfecty mirroring both the horror-theme and the atmosphere of the game. I think there's an option in the game to set up your own playlist for when listening to the ingame radio. So thank you for supplying links to both it and the band making it, that way maybe I can include it into my own game's radio music.
Everything about this from the intro, to the meat, to the outro, is incredible. Makes me want to get back to playing my game again. Glad you're enjoying the game, man!
12:11 lol, Ukraine doesn't care too much. Premature ending of your trip - that's the worst that can happen if you're caught. And maybe a fine. Shiey's trip was awesome but there are some bonuses if you do it legally too. There are private tours that don't follow the same generic tourist route. They even do multi-day tours so you can spend a night in the zone. There is a working hotel in the town of Chernobyl. Staying there is quite an experience. Oh and did I mention having lunch at the nuclear power plant cafeteria? The same one where actual CNPP workers have their lunch every day. Also, more Anomaly please! Really enjoying this series
I've actually been to Pripyat/Tsjernobyl. Was an amazing experience :) Did a 2 day tour, slept in a really creepy hotel in Tsjernobyl, walked with alot of dogs there, amazingly all super friendly dogs. Puppy's everywhere, foxes (ate candy out of my hand), huge catfish in the old cooling-water inlet. All that with a howling geiger-counter in you pocket hahahaha :D
13:13 that sound was a zombie walking into the stack of boxes leading to the rest of the facility. I had the same thing happen to me except I bumped into it.
I'm so gratefull you give this series the love it deserves. STALKER has been one of my favorite series and it's just so lovely to see one of my favorite youtubers make a high quality series on it!

@@caralho5237 Aye, the zone is different from all the eyes that see it, some wish to destroy it, some to preserve it, some to worship it and some to profit of it,.
I love this game so much. Jump in just experience the zone however you want. The community mods are absolutely amazing. I prefer to add a texture and sounds pack, boomsticks and sharpsticks (weaponry and optics), a graphical overhaul, and then I tweak a ton of settings myself to make weapon damage more like Tarkov and DayZ. It really breaks immersion when I have to shoot an unarmored human head more than once. Also optional is a medical overhaul which I usually do myself and magazine repacking. But the vanilla standalone mod is amazing out of the box and would recommend just sticking to that for your first play through. After you mod its a different beast.
I recommend getting a shotgun because the ammo is cheap and relatively strong whilst AK’s might be enticing they’re ammo isnt the most efficient rouble wise i also recommend ignoring the main missions and getting to rostok or army warehouses to do missions from Petrenko (duty in rostok that gives missions relatively close by) or the freedom counter-part i dont know never accept “give me this item” or “deliver this package” quests they take too long to do they’re too dangerous and give little money like 8k roubles compared to assassination missions that give around 15k roubles and are much easier and give more loot if you want variation you can go to garbage and do some missions for butcher they dont give much but are pretty decent theres also an alternative thats more dangerous but gives a lot of money i really recommend that you learn the game before you do this you can go to jupiter head to the scientist base and buy some artefact containers get a veles detector or above (dont even bother with anything below veles its like trying to read moonrunes) you also need some above average protection against radiation and psy with 1000 stalker rep you can get a ranger gas mask for about 30k roubles from sidorovich you can go to the stalker anomaly wiki and look at what anomalies are on what maps after that you can go around getting artefacts check the wiki for which artefacts are good or bad and you can keep the good ones after around 500 rep with scientists you can get a veles detector and a special container that allows you to equip artefacts and use their special abilities wrenched is a definite for any stalker i once made around 125k roubles from one run from about 7 artefacts it works well zaton, jupiter and red forest have the best artefact locations if your looking for good guns you have to make friends with mercenaries its a pain but in the outskirts or pripyat theres a friend merc base that you can do some missions for once you reach 1000 rep (1100 to be safe) you can go to the dead city and trade with dushmann he has the best NATO and russian gear in the game and the price is pretty good i cant give you pointers on armor though because i havent messed around with it that much i just use a ranger gas mask and a stalker nomad outfit from sidorovich (i might be mistaken on nomad armor because i forgot what it was called and there are 2 similar armors) i hope you have fun in stalker thanks for reading
Oh yeah i also recommend keeping a MRE and a bottle of water on hand at all times and at least 1-2 stimpacks once you’ve got some money because those will come in clutch if you lose 90% of your health at once also once you have at least one 100% condition item you should keep some repair items in your inventory and repair it when you need to
I hope this series give the mod and game a propor visibility. I'm a fan from the series since 2011, my first original game was STALKER Clear Sky. Good Job Drewski.

10:54 happy to see the mention of Shiey here, absolutely love his stuff
yea, been following shiey since like 20k subs. always been my fav urbex and youtuber in general
I hope he makes a playthrough series of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl when it comes out!
Gonne be my first Pre-Order since refunding Fallout 76
@@z33thr33 do you even get anything for pre-ordering
@@antzzors126 Yeah, you get an award of the most gullible guys in the world.
@@gentlemanandascholar4555 Ha, lmao true

In these times, you must:
NEVER pre-order
NEVER trust any trailers
NEVER trust early access
NEVER trust hype
It should be like in the old days, when everyone could download free demo of the game to test if you like it or not.
Now, I personally always download cracked game first, play it a while, and if I like it, im BUYING it. If not? Delete.
I think it's completely fair in these dark times.
I hope they won't mess up Stalker 2, unfortunately now it's the only game worth attention i think.
Today I learned drew also watches Shiey, small world. His videos are always a blast and is a really down to earth guy. Definitely reccomend if you like urban exploration and general shenanigans.
Drewski, I've never seen a better intro of a UA-cam gaming video, ever. How do you bless us with this stuff for free. FOR FREE?
Free? There's ads.
there are some premium quality intros in YT gaming scene. in rust for example Frost makes some high quality intros in some of his videos
The game is free too bro. FREE
30:03 And the she looks at you with distain and says "Are you really eating this, now?" and you try to explain how you just went through this whole ordeal. And she just gives you "Yeah, what ever" and you reply with "You still love me, right" while you're bonking bad guys
54:30 this is why Stalker is iconic. Just watch that sequence. You truly feel scared shitless, as you walk around haunting landscapes and know that at any moment you can die. The thrill.
24:34 Reminds me of TF2's Meet the Sniper.
"I think his mate saw me."
*BANGBANGBANG*
"Yes, yes he did!"
If you bring the basic, advanced and expert toolkits to a technician you will be able to upgrade your weapons and armor, that includes an upgrade for the exoskeleton that allow you to sprint.
There is something about the atmosphere of this game, it is perfect.
Really enjoying the Stalker series so far, and you nailed the background music.
It takes a real man to admit a game scared him so much he cried :-) MUCH RESPECT drewski..
I wish i could give more likes, the cinematic intro was something to awe at for pure enjoyment of the depressing world you're enveloped in. Please make more of this series you're doing a wonderful job.
Drew, the Devilish Encampment encounter was NERVE WRENCHING, not to mention the creepy factor of you singing ring-around-the-rosy while shooting and running was absolutely one of the most terrifying things I have watched on UA-cam of someone playing a horror game.
This intro is really nice. Good work Drew!
Love that you mentioned Shiey, been watching him for a while and he's awesome.
What I, as a stalker fan, noticed about this mod is that a lot of subtle changes to animations, like head movement, some slight turning etc. make this game feel very fresh
16:30
The way he ignored Heart of Oasis room makes my heart bleed
The fact that he dropped his svds pmc instead of his svds also hurts me because i looked for one for ages
On my first anomaly play though I missed so much of the game, because there are just so many layers to everything...
Drewski: “I need to eat too..”
Also drewski: **casually eats salmon in the middle of a firefight**
Admitting he didn't know what loot crates were five seconds after casually erasing his first chimera from existence - while taking zero damage - has got to be the craziest sequence in any video on this channel
This is probably your best series to date. While it's usually just gameplay, this has story, atmosphere, detail. It's on another level Drew.
You know shit got real when Drewski has to bring out the comfort Chicken Fried Steak for a moral booster
I laughed way too hard at that whole segment. Been there, done that.
I love watching Shieys content, it's always amazing. I've seen both his trips to Chernobyl/Pripyat!
"Chicken Fried Steak is a pretty good coping mechanism." If I could have a senior quote, that'd be it XD
damn, that ending where the monolith guy snuck up on you like that. Man, I absolutely love the Stalker AI. Only AI where I legit cannot predict what they are going to do, they quick peek, sneak around, and flank so well.
Love Shiey's stuff, and this series is really interesting to me! Keep up the good work, this mod is sickkkk
the intro to this video was what really convinced me to play the stalker games well done.
This series is incredible! The little cinematography mixed in with the gameplay is so cool!
Loving this series as well I can't lieeeee - these nighttime fire fights in the woods are so cool
And at 27:00 😂 what a fight to the death! 🏅
Was waiting for this for ages! I'm addicted to this series.
Did you know there was an "Escape from Pripyat" Modpack? It kinda makes it tarkov-ish.
Everything about this from the intro, to the meat, to the outro, is incredible. Makes me want to get back to playing my game again. Glad you're enjoying the game, man!
Stalker is until now one of the most admospheric games out there. I still love and play it. Great series so far. Keep up the great content!
The editing and comedy in this like the chicken fried steak anecdote are great. This serious is awesome. Thanks Drewski
Chernobyl/Černobyl
Really loved the episode
Your episodes inspired me to try out the mod myself.
I really enjoy Stalker Anomaly as my first real Stalker Experience
Also, that intro is incredible. Studios ought to hire Drewski to produce their trailer videos.
26:30 that's why I don't go out at night........... it's PURE HORROR. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
the fact that you SURVIVED is already... hats down to you.
13:13 that sound was a zombie walking into the stack of boxes leading to the rest of the facility. I had the same thing happen to me except I bumped into it.
holy, what's up with this cinematography!? Totally didn't expect that insane intro
What an into, Drew !
Really suits the atmosphere of the game.
Could you do it again for the next episode ?
Keep it up !
I'm so gratefull you give this series the love it deserves. STALKER has been one of my favorite series and it's just so lovely to see one of my favorite youtubers make a high quality series on it!
Who needs Netflix subscription when you have OperatorDrewski doing a STALKER Anomaly series that is so well edited
If you’re looking for more intro songs, I recommend ‘In the Pines’ by various artists. It has exactly the kind of anomalous and spooky feel that matches this game.
Cobain only
Man, I always end up eagerly awaiting the next ep everytime I finish watching this series. So fucking amazing drew, absolutely love the effort you put into these. Plus, stalker is my favourite game, so its always good to see people play it :D
Just stumbled over your 'Anomaly' videos while I was sifting YT for 'Stalker' videos, while being on memory lane. Watched the first one (which was actually the Day 2 video), got interested and gave it a like, because, well, I liked it a lot. And I barely watch any gameplay videos ever.
Here, you get my like right after that little intro, because I simply love it. F'ing brilliant.
How insane it is when you showing the ILLEGAL FREEDOM video and it shows up on my recommend at the same time
Watching you stumble into Radar without knowing what's in there has to be the most terrifying yet funny things I've ever seen, at least you picked the sneaky entrance.
Okay... this intro gave me FrankieOnPCin1080p vibes and the nostalgia hit me like a freight train. Keep up the great work and your astonishing editing skills.
That intro quality is nuts! It’s so cool watching a youtuber’s skills improve over the years. Keep it up dude, this stuff is dope!
I keep procrastinating dipping my toes into Anomaly but the intros on these are getting me all bothered
i'm getting all warm and fuzzy from these videos
when i play the game its nothing like this
@@caralho5237 Aye, the zone is different from all the eyes that see it, some wish to destroy it, some to preserve it, some to worship it and some to profit of it,.
It's incredible how you shot parts of this like a film using that noclip type function. Really helps give the whole experience a cinematic vibe instead of being solely let's play POV. Bravo!
I do love the sounds from the bullets hitting close to you, quite scary.
what a serie! the inntro is so proffesionally smoth maded! and the ambient! loving it"!
So good this series! Getting strong Frankieonpc vibes here!
Was thinking the exact same thing here!
Bro the intro was cinematic. You could honestly make that a trailer for STALKER Anomaly. If you just changed what you said at the start then that would make a perfect trailer
What is this man?
"yes, these are the exact places I need to go and things to do. Ah, this is a good weapon."
"I didn't realize I could break the boxes to loot."
