This is a really entertaining series.
I hope you keep running with this for a while.
Great story telling and fantastic editing.
I'm betting you could clip out a bit less to give us more content even if there is more downtime between the action.
Many thanks for the entertainment.
Keep 'em STALKER runs coming! This is dope!
based and slavpilled
I've watched this 3 times already and shared to a few friends. This series is so good!
Please keep playing this game. Something about your naration, skill set and pacing just makes watching you playing, so god damn immersive and immensely entertaining!

There will never be enough of Drewski playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for me. Could watch these forever.
While I enjoy Tarkov content there’s something very cool about Stalker, especially these mods.
Same.
Christ, running across those Stalkers executing the leftover wounded Bandits after that emission was brutal
What time stamp was that? Sounds absolutely nuts
I couldn't help but feel sorta bad for them even if they're bandits

@38:28
This looked so fun, I ended up starting my own Ironman run. First try, I ran out of bandages and slowly bled to death over 15 minutes, without enough medkits to make it to a vendor. Second run, I’ve shut off the scorcher and just finally found a 6th basic toolkit so that I can make an advanced toolkit and repair some medium armors. It’s been a freaking BLAST.
i got this game recently and died to literally the very first 2 enimies lol
@@just_me1232 yeah, kinda "realistic" in that way, you can plan tactics and what to do in ur head but get clapped by cats on the way to Prypiat right after destroying 5 monolith squads and feeling invincible, not making it to a building during a blowout and so on...
I am a seasoned player, but this game still gets me, especially when i feel safe.
Just wait until you're 30 or 40 hours in, change maps and get jumped by 3 cats instantly
No amount of Stimpacks/bandages/medkits will save you there but you'll die quickly, I promise :D
@@DerDrecksack87 just recently figured out you can place a tent as an impromptu shelter against psi storms, it weights around 2kg but damn its worth it on certain maps with bad/few/dangerous shelters.
If you actually make it to the medic don't buy the first aid get the treatment he will heal you're whole body for 1,850 rouble (I forgot what the name of it but it was at the bottom of trade)
For people who are new to stalker there are 4 different type of trader
First is the supplier every faction have one the more goodwill you have the more things he sell and also make some of things cheaper.
Also I call it suppliers than trader because it sound lot more cooler.
Next technician he will have some of the stuff you gonna need to repair your weapon if you give him all 3 tools his vice would be free.
Next the medic he will have all medical stuff on sale he will also treat you if you got injury or radiation. I only recommend treating the injury. radiation can be easily get removed with vodka or cigarette's.
Next is butcher. Butcher is a person and he is unique he sell hunting stuff for cheap you heard me right CHEAP you can get 20x70 for 600 rouble that's what I call a deal and other slugs if you disable gamma economy he will sell the best shotgun on the game. He is also one of the favorite trader on stalker anomaly
Two stalkers in a bar:
-Did you hear a story about a loner Drewski?
-no, what about him?
-he decided to go Streloks path, tried to pass brain scorcher...
-and?
-another soul lost in the Zone.
Damn what an ending xD
forgot the "He was a good stalker"
"That poor bastard, the zone gives, but she also takes."
"Let's drink to him once more, he was a good stalker."
“I’m like the NYPD” that one got me so good😂
Indeed 😂
As the viewer, not being sure if any second could be the last we see, I can't even fathom what you have gone through as the player putting untold hours into this playthrough, to have it happen like that. So instant. I don't even know how I would react. I think I would be stunned. So many emotions all at once. Anger, sadness, all at once. A truly incredible game edited by a real pro. It was like watching a movie.
As a seasoned Ironman runner I can tell you the further you progress, the more of a shock it is when your character is killed. It’s what makes the game so much more fun than playing normally, as staying alive actually has weight to it instead of just reloading a previous save.
@@fracturedkarlik4743 Yeah, and Ironman really gets your blood pumping. At times it feels like a multiplayer game due to the AI behaviors which can be unpredictable. Just like in this video. One somehow came up behind him, one shot, that was it, gone.
@@fracturedkarlik4743 i can't be bothered to do the early game grind that often tho. but thats what the debug menu is for right ;)
Its just game bro
@@4bschaum how do you use the debug menu? i agree with this notion grinding to get expert tool sometimes even advanced just takes hours and is the reason i stay away from iron man. especially for monolith cause you would sometimes imagine them being fairly geared from the get go

Really appreciated you taking the time to talk about depression and your move into doing this full time. There's a large stigma surrounding doing anything for work outside of the "norm" like standard day jobs that 99% of the population have, but doing something you love will always be more valuable than any paycheck you can get from work. I tried to start up a YT channel because I love gaming and video editing and hit some good highs for a new channel, but ran into some serious depression recently due to outside events and basically stopped in my tracks. I'm trying to talk myself back into it but with everything else going on it's been a struggle. I think I'll find some time to work on a video soon and get back into it, thanks to you. Good looking out, Drew.
Damn i hope he doesn't support his kids on being a pornstar and i hope he becomes a father figure for his kids.
@@azizmuradi5255 what a stupid thing to say
I was in a major depression, and well.. am again.. but in the one before I started to try to make a YT channel and do something I loved , and that helped people who were helping me.. and I thought it would be therapeutic to me and maybe help others but dealing with all the trying to edit and me being so critical and wanting things perfect, I didn't get far. I wish I had and I still think of starting another channel all the time.. even if it's just me talking, telling stories or explaining what I'm doing while I'm doing it. That's kinda how my mind has always worked.. while I'm working I'm narrating in my head what's and why's.. I've rambled too much.. thank you drew and anyone out there who tries to help others or talk about your depression/mental health care and issues. Keep strong
I'm struggling hard rn.. I need my job.. but am having the hardest time.

12:09 A moment of silence for our Chad Shotgun S.T.A.L.K.E.R. who died off screen; he was a good STALKER and will be missed.

I'm absolutely hooked in this game, very shocked it took so long to discover this fantastic game and modpack.
This series became my new rabbit hole to fall in. Addiction never have been that high.
The end made me want to cry. It was going so well. Such a badass game. Please sir, I'd like some more.
I feel like there's got to be like countless amount of people that were it's going well and then nothing.. where it's going badly and then nothing, or they're just standing there and then nothing.. I think that might be one of the most brutal things I've seen in the video game and just actually realistic things.
the stalkers playing guitar are literally my favorite part of this game 47:30
Sitting around the campfires with the musical NPCs is such a vibe. Thanks for your video introducing the game, I really enjoy it and I'm sure a lot of your viewers who didnt know about Anomaly do as well!
love these stalker movies i never open UA-cam without checking if there's a new drewski episode 😁
also for some reason i felt like crying at the end 🤣
Drewski, I love how you include the musical interlude parts. I think something lost in STALKER videos is how atmospheric and vibey the game is and these musical parts show that.
The "baby things" are called Karlik's. They are dwarfs, I've only ever experienced them using melee attacks and psy ghosts to trick you. Not very difficult imo but can be spooky when you hear them at first. They were cut from the original games and added in Anomaly.
I've completed the game and still played the game after and never met them, is it really in anomaly?
@@drgud3900 Pretty sure because I ran into one in Dark Valley and the little fucker ran at me like Usain Bolt.
@@drgud3900 It is but i never saw one on my first playthrough, only my second and onwards, army warehouses seems to be a consistent place, near the bloodsucker village.
@@drgud3900 I've discovered them in Red Forest, in the Mine to the North, Devils encampment to the South, Agroprom North of the Military Base by the shack in the swamps. I recall one particularly unpleasant incident where late at night I fell into the basement of one of the houses in the South of Bloodsucker Village in the Military bases area and was set upon by a whole family of the things that had sheltered there. Had to fight them off with a knife. I believe I also found them in Radar and CNPP but as you can understand in such areas the brain gets a bit...hazy. I theorise given their proximity to areas with Scientific research facilities and given their attire they may be test subjects of the labs. Criminal or potentially even more sinister, Scientists who willingly or otherwise became Karliks and gravitate to heavily anomalous areas to protect themselves or hide in areas with other mutants, due to their own weakness and inability to defend themselves.
@@drgud3900 I use a mod called...Nocturnal mutants I believe that buffs spawn rates for certain mutants and adds new ones, cut mutants etc. I think Karliks are meant to be able to control other mutants, send out psy ghosts and im not sure if my memory is correct because it was some time ago but i think they exploded when i killed them in a noxious green gas.
The zone will continue living on, no matter how many stalkers die.
You are a nobody, just another stalker lost to the zone
And that makes it so beautiful
Really enjoyed the run. Your transitions at camp with the guitar overlaying the screens is real smooth. Looking forward to the next run.
38:31 i love the world dynamics, insanly well made
ahhhh yes, a cold beer, fresh pizza, and an hour and a half of drewski. life is good.
This episode so perfectly encapsulates why GAMMA is so good with all its little moments interlaced between the big missions. The speech you gave at 1:09:00 also resonated with me a lot, there’s no lesson other then do what you think feels right to you, despite what people are telling you. The anomaly interrupting you feels like life
There is truly no other single player game like this one.
"Remind Yourself That Overconfidence Is A Slow And Insidious Killer" -Ancestor
As i watched the little army align i thought "probably he wont attack them", "ok he did, there goes nothing, dudes a good fighter", "got pushed by IA and cannot take the vital second head shot, sure he'll bail, advantage is not here anymore, if ever has been at all..." Then boom!
A 1 life run keeps us afraid enough too keep us alive, there was an awesome pretty careful pace at the beginning, but good gear and good run always get fear slowly out of the equation, then boom!
And the bottom line is that the 1-life xp for the player is really solid for next time better gear are present. Simply amazing series, please continue! :D
I dont know how you do it in the modern age, with attention spans being an all time low, but you manage to make a 1hour 30 minute video not just bareable, but enjoyable and thrilling to watch. Love the stalker series and love the rest of the content recently 👍
Ah, the unscalable walls in Red Forest was the end. Many Stalker has been lost to the zone because of it, me included couple of times. Such a shame.
Man! Death scene was made so touching! More than a game at some point
1:07:15 favorite part about the video, the scenery in the distance combined with some nice talking and minutes later the zone throws a silly anomaly in your face.
This has been a truly mindblowing series and i enjoyed this so much. I only recently started following you but the editing is insane and the entire flow is so well done. Loved this !. The ending specifically was so well done. 9/10 solid.
Absolutely loved the cinematic, almost documentary-style moments in this series - like the campfire music and the anomaly smash-cut after the hobby/job monologue. Clearly that gifted-and-talented perk didn't wear off after elementary school!
5:56 You were literally Milliseconds from ending the Ironman from Psionic Attacks Alone, how you managed to survive each episode is beyond me!
38:45 the flea market tends to have a lot of shenanigans during emissions. It counts as a shelter and bandits often run to it and the AI gets confused. They just kinda stare at eachother, occasionally get into a fist fight, and eventually kill eachother. I took shelter there today and watched them just walk in circles while punching one another every couple seconds.
it's fitting tho. like barely holding, temporary cease fire just to survive another emission.
2 factions just want to beat the shit out of each other but in the face of bigger danger nobody wants to be left outside
Dude, what a game, what play and WHAT AN ENDING! It was really a joy to watch you play it, I felt entertained through all 3 episode. I was even a little jealous when I saw how well you managed the Red Forest. I am kinda amazed how well you are at spotting enemies. Thanks for the nice Vid!
STALKER atmosphere all those years ago and now GAMMA survival/economy mechanics on top made STALKER my favorite game of all time, no exaggeration
Ironman players are hardcore AF... salute to them all. Campfire mode enough to make my pants wet
yup, and with GAMMA the base experience is already in campfire mode, having the option turned off at the start does nothing, there's a sperate mod in the pack that makes you only able to save at fires, tho, I have it set to run an autosave every 10 mins, but you only get one. I've had it autosave at the worst times
@@ElderonAnalas if you turn off YACS In the mod manager you can reenable the ability to quicksave
@@2econdUmbrella correct its made to be tweaked to your liking. i do unlimited stash weights too currently just been using the campfire saves because its not that bad
I honestly can’t imagine playing iron man. Just the other day I went to sleep at the mechanic’s place in Cordon. Woke up to a pack of military searching the place, decked out in exo’s and heavy armor. Took me quite a bit of reloading and retrying to get out of that one.
@@LJ-qh5ni yeah the work that goes into getting to the north in this game and one wrong step ruins it is tough
50:23 i love it when your companions go absolutely dumb as your getting almost killed right in front of them, too relatable
Anomaly and Gamma really feel like a living world
Anomaly redux feels like a real life but not the base Anomaly
The weird twitter feed I think adds a lot to it.
It is one thing to hear distant gunfire.
It is another to hear distant gunfire, followed by a message that says "Killed a bandit" by some random guy, then an hour later run into that guy in person at a bonfire, then while out in the zone find the aftermath of that gunfight you heard an hour earlier.
That radio chatter does a good job reminding you that everything in the zone is happening and not just background ambiance.
@@ABUBBA22 also if npc sends message for help, nearest team will help them. I attacked 3 bandits in trash and they asked for help, 4 minutes later 6 bandits show up to kill me when i was looting. It just perfect game, the only thing i don't like about it is sound of footsteps. It just bad
@@erkintiko5132 it also does a good job telling stories. Like one time I had a guy brag about finding a dragon eye. Then later I looted a dragon eye off a bandit, guess where he got the dragon eye from...
One thing I think the game is really missing is more personal interactions with the generic NPCs. While it's cool there are NPCs living their lives I wish there was a real way to build a relationship with them. Like gifting them food or other small items and they can gift you something in return later. And after building enough of a relationship they can be a follower. Something where it would matter more to speak with random travelers and look for friends while in camp. Also adds more impact to obituary reports if you recognize the name of the guy you have been talking too.
That's the A-Life system at work baby.
Drewski that was a riveting series, I absolutely loved it! It wasn't just gameplay, it was a story of someone that had to overcome immense challenge with the dream of making a name for himself in the Zone. Credit to your skillful gameplay as well as your beautiful story telling and cinematography. Also great to learn more about you as well; really enjoy your content, very inspiring.
I was finally able to install this game right a few days ago.
Now I have another Drewski video to watch while I play. Life is good.
So glad you lived through another one drewski! Can't wait for the next episode! 😉
I'm not sure if you've enabled it but the duty expansion missions clear out red forest of monolith and makes it a duty settlement/outpost. It's great for exploring the area to have a haven there
Edit: DAMN!
The Duty Expansion mod is disabled in GAMMA cause it causes a lot of issues with other stuff. Kinda like Warfare mode
@@nightcatoof1712 I'm pretty sure it doesn't? It's disabled because it's not very polished and messes with the camera in some scenes. it's even labeled as good but slightly buggy in MO2, not gamebreaking like the warfare patch.
@@princekyros My bad, I played with it once or twice and I always crashed to desktop every time anything happened with it. Last I checked was a few weeks ago. That, and I thought it might’ve mis-installed-so I reinstalled it, and still had the same issue. Dunno what to tell ya.
@@nightcatoof1712 ah, that's a shame. I know the struggle tho, stalker's never been the most stable thing for the like, 14 years I've played it and GAMMA even taxed my debugging capabilities at times.
@@nightcatoof1712 Stalker mods are wild. My entire GAMMA once borked and enabled a bunch of mods, most notably Mags Redux, because Soundscape Overhaul didn't install correctly... Weirdest shit
Duty overhaul is definitely functional, although buggy especially with the conversation camera mod. Also just a drastic change in general that might be better off as optional
When the zombies die, their moans are the RE2 original zombie sounds. It sent chills down my spine hearing them again lol.

I can't believe we lost a Fan Favorite Character in such a sudden way. He didn't deserve to go out like this, and just when he found true love in the episode prior to this one!
I'm literally shaking and crying right now. 😭
Dude. That entire ending gave me goosebumps.
I already loved this series. But that sunrise chat about your childhood just hit different man. Thanks for all you do!
34:10 fun fact. In pre-release builds of Shadow of Chornobyl, AI stalkers were affected by anomalies. They could throw bolts and tried to path around anomalies. This feature didn't make it into the release version but you can still make AI stalkers take damage from anomalies using the ai_die_in_anomalies console flag. It doesn't work in Anomaly or GAMMA because the game automatically flips it back to 'off' but it does work in Call of Chornobyl, for example. I still hope that someday the modding community can figure out how to code AI pathing around anomalies back into the game.
Watching this series was intense and immersive so much so that Drewski's biggest error was also being so immersed that he ran to help his Companion and well, we all saw how that turned out. Love your video's man, I would have done the same thing!
Your love of STALKER is inspiring, Drewski. A channel as big as yours showing off my favourite game has made me so happy. Please make more Ironman content!
This was a fantastic series. It got me into the game (coming from tarkov) and you manage to craft a compelling story. Really well done and I hope you make more Ironman content!
Probably my favorite interaction I have seen with Bandits and other NPCs is when my companion downed a bandit then proceeded to give him a speech before he blasted him in the head point blank with a SR2M
A legendary stalker that will be remembered by the few that survive.
Fun fact: You can stand on top of the merc base out in the open during a psi storm/emission while still being sheltered from it. At least that's how it used to be 🙂
Also, in the Red Forest, remember not to dig any trenches 😛
😂
I will never not be in awe at the incredible editing work put into these videos.

Hot Tip Drew if you are in an underground section carry a ton of glow sticks and throw them in rooms you've been in to avoid getting lost if you wanna get detailed use different colors to mark it like green at the entrance red or yellow in other rooms makes knowing where you've been easier
You can throw glowsticks?
@@patrickWWW literally said it in the vid, hold F
Yes I use them especially in underground to mark the exit and rooms I’ve already searched through if it’s complex after I’m done and headed to the exit I pick them all up. They’re also handy at night if you setup a camp site put them out along the perimeter so you can see movement before it’s right up on you. Handy tool to have a bunch of colors too for different things.
First played STALKER in '06 or '07 in my teens. Incredible to see how far it's been taken - stoked to try this out. Thanks Drew!
You're one of my favourite content creators every Drewski, and the things you were saying as the sun rose after the 1:00:00 mark have solidified that for me, you're a great guy with a kind heart and I can't think of anyone who deserves to follow their dreams more
40:00 Backpacks are also handy because you can use them as stashes and leave them somewhere you know you'll be "working" in a lot or know you're going to have a lot of loot.
Have LOVED following this series, gonna suck when it ends.
This goes against everything my absolute monke brain is wired for, but I like how long these stalker videos are. I'd watch streams of this if I could sit in one place for long enough without dissolving into primordial soup.
THE BEST 3-5 HOURS OF S.T.A.L.K.E.R GAMEPLAY I'VE SEEN IN A HOT MINUTE.
Thanks for showcasing Gamma, it's a bummer that it's over, this has been an amazing short series, the build up was the entertaining part, each methodical decision, building to progression of facing the North.
I hope you reconsider doing another run in the future, as each playthrough you learn and adapt to new things.
One aspect that might have made going through, and gaining experience in the Red Forest would have been Artefacts and the smelting of them.
It's a key component of the game, and could've turned the tides.
Thank you for sharing this awesome playthrough, and I'm excited to see more content you produce!
I think one of the lessons can be that you sometimes have to take a chance to get to where you want to be. Im in a sort of similar position as you, and just having picked myself together after a long period of bad mental health its very hard knowing where to go next. One thing i have learned in recent times is that while others might have good intentions at heart when giving advice, they dont know my circumstances or person good enough to where i should give it as much weight as i have done previously. After all, what works for most people usually dont work too well for me in many situations and im learning as im going forward.
I hope you do consider playing more GAMMA even if you end up dying. Its very fun to watch your adventure unfold :) Your fun times and love for the game really shines through the entire series and previous adventure in Anomaly.
*Edit* Sad bois :(
I'm in the same boat as well, almost to a tea and it's kind of comforting in a way to know that I'm not the only one feeling these things; hopefully things improve for us to a point where we can feel better about our situation and begin to thrive in our life. Because it's hard to be doing well and then all of a sudden not, it completely saps your motivation but with time we will get it back.
Edit:just corrections
Bro you got me pumped for these videos man. I hope you do a regular playthrough of this if this one ends sooner than later. Because your commentary, play style, and explanation of things blows every other creator like this outta the water
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo..... that was badass! Never been more attached to a playthrough series. Very well done.
Epic Outro!! War never changes
Aw man that ending though. So climatic but tragic. Awesome love the series. Really can't wait to see more through a new character. You make these so immersive and entertaining.
I’d switch to the Mauser too because even tho the Mosin deals more damage, you’ll barely have any ammo for it. So, you made a great choice Drewski.
This was SUCH an amazing series dude. By far the best you have ever done! I have been glued every minute of every episode, amazing work drew!
What a series. The ending was perfect. Just another loner lost to the zone. The world goes on.
Thank you Drewski.
Excited for the next series of stalker, absolutely loved this one!

1:07:15 this is a video game channel, why is this so real? I’m glad you committing to this channel was how you overcame that dark place in your life. I’m happy for you man and keep up the excellent work!
Bro thanks for your talk at the hour mark. I made my hobby my job before and it was really stressful and I think I was scared to try it again but have felt unfulfilled at my day job. I was kind of caught of guard by your tangent but seriously thanks I think I needed that.
I felt so bad for your buddies as well at the end there, with the music it gave me chills.
Can't wait for more!
do you know what the music title is?
I used to not understand your old Stalker videos for some reason, but this series was so insanely immersive and suspenseful. I loved every second of it. Each of the 15,503 seconds
Its incredible how cinematic this game is
I had that one quest that required me to kill a Monolith dude as a Contract. But one of my other quest was taking down a group of Monolith that took over a Clear Sky outpost in the Red Forest. Well the guy joined up with that group and I had to fight off a group of at least 30+ Monolith soldiers. It was a BRUTAL fight, I barely made it out alive.
That was the most breathtaking videogame death i've ever seen
Seeing him make risky, real plays makes the gameplay feel relatable and entertaining, but getting to see a man double tap a zombie with the killing shot going in on its way down is why I watch the whole thing.
Outstanding skills in both editing and gamewise. Super content, glad for the 3 episodes you gave us!
I knew what was coming just as I heard "He was a good stalker" at 47:37
Such is a life in the Zone
Well damn, that was a good solid and wholesome run. Kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the series wondering when it will happen. Nicely done
I loved the ending, when you show that the world just goes on, not caring at all about the death of a random stalker. Can't wait to see your next incursion.
You should make a one life series but with each faction! Loved these episodes btw !
The second my mans VAPORIZED a rat with a KS23 i knew the rest of the video was gonna be a treat
Dude I can't believe you've made it this long, good job!
Really hope you do more Gamma content. I was looking forward to this episode all week and I need more. Keep doing what you're doing man.
YESSS EP 3!!! this is like watching a movie series, keep up the amazing vids drew!
Watching this a year after you made it and man.., this was fucking epic. Just downloaded gamma for first time.
Please do another Ironman run. So awesome.
