A request for battousaicrescent. www.mediafire.com/?2igmdu3ad4c... I don't own anything. All I did was extend the song, everything belongs to their rightful owners.
I’ll always remember when you get to this part of the game it no longer feels quite like the fairy tale story it was. It now feels like you crossed out of magic and into more a more urban story, but realize that in spite of it, there is plenty of magic to be found. I’ll always remember late afternoons going to and from the shipwreck eating chicken noodle soup and drinking cream soda. I overleveled Ruby so much because I was simply repeating the dungeon over and over for the sheer fun of exploring it as her. The back floors were always so eerie, like a parallel world - I always tried to collect 1 of each gemstone.
when i was a kid and noob i would just use toan over and over and get him overleveled and try to win with just him. You can imagine how difficult Dran was trying to hit him for 1 dmg with a broken slingshot lol. Wasn't until I got older and actually tried all the characters and fell IN LOVE with ruby. she is so amazing, and does so much damage from a safe range. and best of all, she was the easiest to swap her damage type on the fly, so if something is resistant you can just swap rings and counter them. Amazing character, and doesnt hurt that she is nice eye candy too :D
also i just realized something after remembering a fun detail - it is mentioned that Ruby is the wife of the King of Queens, which technically makes Ruby the Queen of Queens. Pretty neat title!
@@DivineBananaLOL i would do the same, but yeah i did switch when fighting dran for example. Whenever there was a limited zone i would struggle hard tho
As kids my brother and I struggled to understand the ice and special fish mechanic so we often ended up having to make multiple runs. Loota time put into Queens
A song I use in my DnD campaign. When the song is first heard, the party is entering the seaport town of Ruby Shores and is met with the sounds of gulls and waves and the smell of salt and rotting fish. Everyone seems to have vanished without rhyme, reason, or care and now a mysterious is about.
Ever since I played this as a kid, I whistled this tune. I haven't had my game in years, and yet I still remembered this tune... then I decide to listen to this song, and I hear the tune and I'm like... "Oh my God. I found it."
Bro, fucking same. I remembered my brother walking around an empty Queens and that's all. I missed this game so much but my memory was so fuzzy. It was almost like there was some kind of... black mist in the way, or some murky fog.
...Yeah...or rather mediterranean...more than imagine to be...in Naples, in Sicily perhaps, with this, but so i surely think, by the setting of the level, it can suggest the near east...
I keep thinking, "Alright, I've had enough. I'm gonna close this tab now," but I can't. It's just too perfect. One of my favorite musical scores from a video game.
...yeah, not to mention she even calls you "brother" (in my language translation that's not so😢); even Suzy is enough pleasant for me, therefore i could get along with; and Lana... well, i think to have enough respect for the elderly persons, especially women (well, every age they has i'm surely kind with them...)... so i can figure well enough as stand neighbor or not...!😉
I still have this game... but i wish they'd put a little more into it. If any of you have seen the beta you know Toan could've been able to jump, fish in any water with visible fish, the game was hex based, places to build cities on were sometimes floating, you rode a magic carpet, Toan didn't look like a chick -_-, and you could leave Georama mode on flat parts of structures in which you could normally walk on. Just saying that a little more work could've been done to the game. More areas to...
This game was highly original and innovative for what it did end up doing. It’s not like they didn’t want to have those things, but a lot had to be cut for the limitations of the PS2. If it were to have come out 10 years later it would have had all that.
I'm glad my first experience with head on hard hitting nostalgia is with this song, this game and this song in particular are going to be with me until the end
Yup he's obsessed with French Accordion music or something. Not that it's bad, I like it! Just interesting how every composer has their go to instruments and styles.
Thank you soo much man!! I loved this game to death! I felt like I was gonna cry when I first heard this song again as I loved this song to death as my grandad and I used to play it and he would always phone me up for help when he got stuck :3
Queens is inspired by Venice mainly but has some French influence as well. Norune village is inspired by South America, mainly Mexico and Bolivia. This game has a lot of real life influence.
I miss playing this! :( Somebody had to trade in the ps2 and his games for a ps3....at least I still have my games (including this). Now all I have to do is buy another ps2.
you can buy it on PS4 too. i’m rerunning it and bro. if you’re like me, you played when you were like 6 years old and replaying it, there’s so many small mechanics and stuff i never took advantage of lmao. like the gemstones and the Status Breaks

Aye that's badass tbh
This song lowkey slaps. I've been replaying Dark Cloud and I'm up to the shipwreck and this song has been stuck in my head lol. It's very catchy.

@@RoTheEvil I was too and still am! I still pick up dark cloud every few years :)
@@dolphinboi-playmonsterranc9668 Prolly cause most of Queens was the dark underwater caves dungeon.
I always thought of Italy in this level

Well Queens at least when Toan visits it (in the past was clearly a monarchy) is probably inspired by merchant republics like Venice, Genoa or Pisa
I keep thinking, "Alright, I've had enough. I'm gonna close this tab now," but I can't. It's just too perfect. One of my favorite musical scores from a video game.
Oh God... :o
My nostalgia level is over 9,000.
This is my favorite part of the game, hands down.
But dat fortune teller. o.O
Pumpkin panty fortune telling
Aweee queens!! What a nice place to live :3 fresh waters, fruits and a lot of fishes and friendly faces
Yeah, in fact a character of there who's appearently close to the friendly idea is Ruty...
@@davideucci464 I sure would love to get friendly with her ;)
Would you like to visit suzies shop?
Dont forget lana

My fav area to build in the game haha
i find this one soo much different than all the other tracks- yet it fits queens SO well
I ABUSOLUTELY love this music.
PCSX2 has allowed me to go at this game again, just 3 more weapons to max out and I’m on to finally beat the demon shaft.
What a game. What a community

Can't stop listening to this, still my fav game ever!
this was such a fun game, I miss it!
It's been long enough. The Dark Genie can return and challenge a now adult Toan for dark cloud 3 now.
as if we're gonna get a dark cloud 3.....
I hope we get an hd remake if anything
@@Pyrax99 weve got it on ps4 :)
You have to travel to get the band back together, and Ungaga's a little too old to fight, so you get his up and comer scrappy young kid!
@@SaplingxAura that would be so crazy, I love that
Sorry if i could offend you, but i were so pleased if it would be a Dark Chronicle sequel...
Favorite part of the game.
Yeah. I made sure this game survived...
I haven't played this game, but you can really tell that it has the same composer as the Professor Layton series!
Yup he's obsessed with French Accordion music or something. Not that it's bad, I like it! Just interesting how every composer has their go to instruments and styles.
I always loved that place than all the others
This reminds me of Paris, though I never been there. Love this:D
Pumpkin panty fortune telling! *Jumps on Toan's head*
I remember seeing that as a kid and losing my shit. xD
+Brutal Heart Pfff i want back to past :/
Aaah, good times, too innocent to remember, too innocent to care lol
Omg 😭😭😭😭😭 so many memories
Doesn't anyone think of Paris when they hear this?

Queens had some nice buildings. And I don’t ever miss the calling of the seagulls in the background which matches the very music here.
such a chill song
Out of all the places on this game, Queens is my favorite because it reminds me for Venice beach. ^_^
ah i could chill to this all day
Beauty.
I was stuck here because I didn'y know how to progress deeper in the dungeon.
Attempted to make Ruby in Soul Calibur 6 feel proud of the results! But gotta show my love for my waifu
Well worth it, my friend
Accordion gets me thinking the same:Italy
best game and song ever :)
Did you know? The game is named "Dark Cloud" because of Toan's second last weapon, Dark Cloud.
i didn't think that the game was named because of that weapon but i did know that he has a weapon called dark cloud
The Dark Cloud is the genie lol, not because of the sword.
No, it's because the genie created a dark cloud around the flying castle
Matthew Dadoun They should of made the weapon "Dark cloud" the strongest weapon that would make a little more sence x3
Sweet XD thankyou very much =]
I think of my entire Childhood!
I get the feeling that the Queens part of the map was based on Italy, with the mobsters and whatnot lol
Queens is inspired by Venice mainly but has some French influence as well.
Norune village is inspired by South America, mainly Mexico and Bolivia.
This game has a lot of real life influence.
Love the game, love the soundtrack, love the story for all of the characters, however the fortune teller was well O.o!
One day all shall be forgiven and you guys will be together again.
eat my heart out
you read my mind
I miss this game.
But my house ate it.
The place looks Like modern Greece. Look at the buildings and compare them to modern Greek structures.
It's probably based off of Greece's Mediterranean port cities.

Wholey cow the beginning reminds me of the undertale ost 'CORE approaching'...
OMG YES
I think of Italy.
Georama is simple but you are limit to 3 fields of development making it hard for georama building.
Who are the two dislikes makes me sad :(
Reminds me of dark cloud 2
...Veniccio?
Why yes, very much so XD
See the face in the top right hand corner?
I am; I havent listend to another sing for a couple of days. My dad got so pissed he tried to cut of the internet; so I went on my phone :3

Lol, no I did actually mean harmonica. :P
I wish I could play the accordion. :
maybe Rome but also france
Do you mean Accordion?
Does anyone know where I can find harmonica tabs to this song??
You’d need a fully chromatic harmonica.

I never liked Queens that much. It was boring to me.
