T-wings! I thought Star Wars fans had forgotten about them completely! Both T-wings and Assault Gunboats are ships that really should have carried over into either movies or TV shows, their designs are really cool. Very nice touch with the Ithorian gunner.
This is really impressive. I haven't seen animation like this in a long time, reminds me Supreme Commander, if it had been made recently XD Clearly done in the spirit of the old game Star Wars: TIE Fighter, and New Republic era legends content (I love both legends and canon), pretty sure I've never seen that TIE Interceptor/Bomber hybrid before, I love it! May the Force be with you!
I like how this sort of looks like the original X-Wing, TIE Fighter, or X-Wing Alliance but how I wished it was like with modern effects (and faster combat).
well done! Despite the models looking a bit too low-poly, you really nailed the animation and composition! By far one of the best sw shorts I've seen so far!
@@crimsonwolf1982 Hardly, but they did not act as a unit and they led the imps right to their base even when it was obvious they were outmatched. Just my .02 credits :)
@@RifterBlade To be fair that's way more believable than the actual canon where rebel pilots are somehow way better than a legion of trained pilot that likely clock in way more flight time and have much more support behind them
@@FarseerAnimation thx! Such a simple yet badass combination. The Blaster firepower of an Interceptor with the Missile Payload of a Bomber and presumably the speed of a Tie Fighter.
Those are Tie Divebombers, which are actually original designs. Because they lack the chute they have to fly directly at their targets and so have slightly faster speed than the original Tie/sas.
@@FarseerAnimation have you decided on a name for the second ship? I was hoping to use it in some of roleplay scenarios with my friends and have just been calling it the "Blunder-class transport"
First, I loved LOVED the animation, but why did you put interceptor wings on TIE Bombers? Also, was that supposed to be an Eclipse class Star Destroyer?
That's a new design called a Tie Divebomber. It lacks the bomb shoot of the bomber and can only fire payloads directly forwards. It's a little faster but less well armored. The ship at the end is the Eclipse's sibling class the Sovereign, which is smaller and a little weaker.
I really like your animation. But i dont like how you constantly include the sovereign, it simply looks ridiculous. Im happy it got destroyed in a later video. A normal super stardestroyer would have been better tbh...

Disney doesn’t care enough to know.
I've always liked the T-Wing's very retro almost rocketship-like design.
It's sad they're apparently such a joke in universe.
Excellent work, Alpha One. The Emperor will be pleased.

I love those alternate TIE Bombers!!!
What are they called though?
@@MariusFusariu This was the only video I ever say them in. I think they were made up by the creator of this video.
You're right about that Matt. I joust found that this type of starcraft is called TIE diveBomber
Love you for using Dark Trooper's theme
You make me wish those TIE Divebombers were in Empire at War as a unit in the Thrawn's Revenge mod.
Really like the use of less common star craft from star wars
More like slaughter over Chandrila! Once that ship launched it's TIE Fighters it was game over.
The imperial shuttle kinda reminds me of a raptor from battlestar galactica with those rocket launcher.
Love it!
Especially those TIE Bomber/Interceptor thingys!!!
We've decided to call them Tie Divebombers since they lack the chute of the bombers. It's a simple design but I'm glad people like it!
@@FarseerAnimation They remind me very much of the "TIE Terrors" from TFU2's comic, but they had reverse panels like Defenders, and two weapon pods.
DARK FORCES music!!! Congrats.
I like it. Imperial Nebulon-B. And wow. TIE Bomber with Interceptor wing
That's exactly how I call it tooo!!! But what name does this beautiful starcraft design type have?
Weren't the nebulous imperial in design

Bomber/interceptor hybrids....awesome. subbed. 👍
I know, right?
Seems they came across a less skilled group of rebels. Fun to see new work m8, good job!

I mean if they're flying T-Wings they're probably not the cream of the crop.
@@shadow7988 I mean, being a bad pilot is different than having poor operational security.
Really nice !
That was pretty awesome! Nicely done 🔥
@2:30 Is it just me or do those things resemble New Republic E-Wings from the Black Fleet Crisis and Yuuzhan Vong War?
technically well done. A more proper title would be 'Massacre of Chandrila', though.
Nice to see the good guys win for once
screw disneys shows, THIS is excellent star wars content
Woah! Really great job on this!!
What kind of tie bomber is that?
Those Tie Bomber/Interceptors are frakking amazing..... What are they called?
Richard Ched thanks! They’re my original design called Tie Dive Bombers
@@FarseerAnimation thx! Such a simple yet badass combination. The Blaster firepower of an Interceptor with the Missile Payload of a Bomber and presumably the speed of a Tie Fighter.
Absolutely awesome if you ask me!
I really would have immense fun making a starfighter attack on planetary bases in Star Wars TIE Fighter; so I wish that kind of mission could come up.
I enjoyed it. The only thing I would change is that the empire did not use nebulon b's, they would use carrack cruisers.
Actually the Nebulon B are imperial designs that the rebels stole en mass.
the moment a SSD was involved it was no longer a skirmish...
good job on short story, like in real life the good don´t always win. like it anyways.
What are those odd TIE Bomber variants with TIE Interceptor-like wings and ball cockpits?
Those are Tie Divebombers, which are actually original designs. Because they lack the chute they have to fly directly at their targets and so have slightly faster speed than the original Tie/sas.
I choose to believe that Y-wing survived
What would you call those type of imperial shuttles?
Imperial Gunboats or XG-1 Starwings
@@FarseerAnimation Well the imperial gun boat and the XG-1 starwing are awsome! And did alot of damage to those rebel scum!
Tie bombers with interceptor wings?
Good, but why Nebulon and Corvette in the Empire fleet?
Both are actually Imperial designs that the Rebels also used.
This is why the rebels should never use ex-stormtroopers to operate gun batteries. LOL
Lightwave!
I like the design of those two Rebel cargo ships. Are they part of canon?
One of them is the Rebel Tanker from Empire Strikes Back, the other is my own design
