I also have a b22 precision, after lots of ammo testing, I settled on norma tac. My rifle shoots more consistent with a piece of fuel hose under the barrel at the front of the chassis.
Nice. I’ve since settled on SK long range match ammo for this thing. It’s done well over the past few matches I’ve had so for now will be sticking with it! Norma tac did horribly for me lol
Give eley contact a try. I’ve only gone through about 150 rounds so far but so far it’s been pretty consistent. Like 1 flyer every 20 rounds. Also when you’re swapping ammo it takes like 5-20 rounds for your barrel to “foul in”.
@@cG-es8mb it’s the lube that’s used on the bullet to coat your barrel. Sk uses an oil based lube and eley uses a pariffin wax. So when switching ammo it’s takes a few rounds for the lube to coat the inside of your barrel thus “fouling in”
Yuppp it’s on the list to get and try, should be getting a few more diff types pretty soon here. Also will be nice if the weather gets warmer so u don’t have the cold affecting the consistency of these tests.
This was interesting. Thank you for bringing up the Transsonic issue. I shoot high-end air rifles. 22cal 36gr slugs@ 960-1040 FPS and 18gr pellets at 910 FPS always sub sonic without destabilizing do to the transsonic barrier. I was going to purchase a Savage arms b22 lite, thinking that it would stay supersonic a bit longer. I guess the 200+yrd shots with a .22cal start with subsonic. Those were pretty bad groups at 50 & 100yrd. Not being mean. When you count on repeatability, idk really just killed my excitement. I don't know if I should waste my time with a 22cal anymore. Our regulator valving and ES / SD have a tighter tolerance than the powder grains per round and physical change from solid to vapor rate. : ( I like little guns so I can do more math with drop competition, not needing 4-8 hundred yrds.
Hey thanks for the feedback I always appreciate legitimate and constructive feedback. I agree, they weren’t the best groups for sure - I’m fairly new with rimfire precision but am doing more PRS both high power and rimfire this year. .22 is very picky with ammo, these weren’t the best by a long shot for this rifle, but the SK long range match seem to do much better just haven’t done videos on updates for this thing just yet.
Got the same gun and only shot 150 rounds through it. I’m shooting aguilla high velocity out of it. At 25 to 50 yards it right on the money. At 100 yards they aren’t close. Not very good accuracy.
Winchester white box has worked phenomenal in my mk2. 0 issues with gun or mags in the many years I have had it. And it's 2nd hand. Love the thing.

What does it mean to foul in?

Awesome video.
Niko you should try the cci standard velocity 40 grain 1070 fps. its a tack driver out of my savage mkll heavy barrel.

@@OutdoorsAnonymous I agree about the weather I'm in Northern B.C. so I understand what your saying .🙂
Spring can’t come soon enough! Haha
Hell the heat affects just as bad or worse as the cold
What’s the measuring tool you’re using for your groups?
First time viewing mine prefers eley club
Haven’t tried any eleys yet haven’t been able to get my hands on any around here. Also shooting b22?

Try SK long range it’s been working for me well past 100 yds
CCI Stinger 22 LR. 32 grain, 1640FPS, Very consistent ,with gsg 16lr
Nice yeah haven’t tried that one yet
