    What is your opinion on the accuracy? I’ve got a 2010 gsg 5sd and it’s a really fun plinker but out to 50 yds with a 4x red dot scope I’m lucky if I get 4” groups. Do you have that problem?

    • @OutdoorsAnonymous
      @OutdoorsAnonymous 13 днів тому

      Accuracy is good for what it’s meant for. 4” groups at 50 is probably the ammo or ur shooting position

    I didn't catch what type of .22 bullets you were shooting! The weight of the bullet, and type of bullet you are shooting makes a big difference in accuracy. I have heard many times, and I stick to this, sight your rifle in with the type of ammo you will be using when hunting. Guess it is best to try out many different types of ammo to find that one that best fires, with accuracy, out of your rifle.

    Remarkable skill. I remembered before I joined the military (us). I was in rotc. We have the Remington bolt action. Heavy long bull barrel. Now I inherited the Ruger 10/22. Automatic. Nice. But definitely needed a scope like yours.😊

    Niko I liked the video. Your equipment selection looks solid. Mat, bags, range finder and BOG pod. I wonder why you didn’t use the clamp on the BOG pod. It would have lowered some of the felt recoil. Also the rifle is plenty precise. With a target scope you could easily take that out much further. IE check out XRing channel. Recoil management and shooter fatigue is real and when you need a solid zero it can take time to refine. Totally worth the extra practice to hit that once in a lifetime buck! Don’t forget to lock tight those stock and scope screws with the heavy recoil.Side note even better then the G1 BC of those federal Fusions is the terminal performance. They preform on game animals similarly to bonded bullets. Good expansion and penetration. All around nice setup.

      Different ammo than what u zeroed with will of course have different POI. But spot on at 75 doesn’t track, there’s probably different factors at play there.

    Your rifle does weird groups....my .22 is sighted for 25m. If i shoot 10m it hits 2cm low - if i shoot 50m it is spot on - if i shoot 35m it is 2cm high and at 70m it is 6cm low.
