Just dump the shot if your ex comes back for your greener grass. That kind of person won’t go with you through bad times. Life is a full of good times and bad times. Why do you need someone who only wants good times with you. Don’t let yourself be abused.

Thanks for the video man! My husband walked out after less of a year of marriage together. This was both a massive step for us and he freaked. I was distraught afterwards, but I can tell you hands down that this is the best experience I’ve ever gone through and am still going through. It’s been near 7 months now, but I can tell you it does get better. I have been leaving my ex alone since he left and the longer I let him be and turn myself inwards the bigger I’ve seen myself grow and my husband has been coming around. This isn’t a reflection on you, it’s a reflection on them and their insecurities. Be the best version of yourself, be happy, and value you yourself. That’s gonna speak highly in their eyes. When they do come back, it will be your choice at the end of the day!

My wife walked out of marriage by texting me she will be filing for divorce. It devastated me..after 15 days she emailed me to pay for her college fees which I did not pay ...as I am not responsible for her fees . Also I have maintained NC ...40 days plus and still going strong. I have focused on my health and personal development and now. I will not allow myself to be devalued like this or taken for granted. She does come online on WhatsApp but who knows who she is talking with ...it does not happen to women ...it happens to men as us as well
No one has ever explained better my situation. And I already see on her social media that she has started realising that there is no greener parts of the grass on the other side. I am staying in no-contact and will never reach out. She will regret because I am the greenest, because I used to water the grass which was called our relationship :)

2-Is it just me or things seem to be ok but not ok at the same time.

4- was a lomg caption but it was about never lose the one that undrestood you the most, was a shoulder for you to cry on and etc.
6 days into no contact. Im positive she will be back. I was a great boyfriend and her family and her friends love me and they always adored us.

Tom Waits I’m in the same spot bro my ex broke up with me about 2 weeks ago and from what I’ve heard she’s been so stressed out and that’s kinda how I was while we were dating because I felt alone throughout the relationship. She’s immature and just isn’t ready for a mature relationship yet. By the time she is I’ll most likely will not want to be with her anymore.

Married 23 years, 4 kids and it ended, she blamed me and brought up everything I did wrong in the 26 years we were togeter. I was devastated, lost, hurt and confused. 4 months later I found out she might have monkey branched or had her head turned by someone else so now I have no chance of getting her back and my kids will have a new man in there life which just kills me. Oh my gosh these sounds exactly like what happened with my ex after she broke up with me over a month ago. Ik looking back I wasn't acting the best no where near where I could act if we got back together in the next couple of months through self betterment and living a life not depending on someone for me being happy. Ik that if and for anyone else who reads this do your absolute best to better your life in anyway. Work on yourself and show that you're the best option for them and for anyone else. But never forget that having a "I'm the prize" mindset won't work if you don't do anything to show that. Trust me I thought I was going to die after the first 2 weeks after she broke up with me. But after watching videos like this and focusing on bettering myself and becoming more happier. Happiness breeds confidence those 2 can very be the easiest things to attract someone who's worth being in a relationship. Remember work on yourself, love yourself, love others and change your mindset to a "I'm the prize" or "I'm the best option" it'll make you feel so much better and will set yourself up to getting back together with your ex or finding someone just as good if not better. Trust in yourself much love great video:)))

We were considering moving in together, then I got really Ill, I thought this was a life test. In the middle of my illness I found out he was playing the single card online with someone else. I left...yes still hurts, but I decided not to waste my time in someone who was no longer here emotionally 💔. He went out right awa with the other person. I'm healing, facing surgery in few weeks. I'll be okay.

Through our 2 years relationship, we’ve been good to each other. He used to tell me he’s not a relationship kinda guy but ended up falling in love with me, head over heels to me. We lived together. Traveling the world together. Sharing everything we have. It was a wonderful relationship.
But the thing is, in his guts, he always wants to see what is out there. He’s getting comfortable in the relationship, and wants to have an excitement outside of it. Which is understandable since he’s 23 years old. And we’re each other first relationship.
But to me, it’s so cruel to accept the fact that he left to roam around, sleep around, and throwing away our relationship. I love him with all my heart. Of course, i can be alone, I don’t NEED him. But i do want him. I think we’re great together. I hope he comes to his senses that I’m the girl who gives him everything, accept him for who he is, ALWAYS being there for him.
Damn, it hurts so much. How he took me for granted. I stupidly do everything to have him back still 😔

I had a skype session with Rory and he is absolutely amazing! He explained this to me even more.
This is exactly how my ex broke up with me almost three months ago. We were together for 5 years and we were talking about moving in together after he graduated. But instead he decided to end it and it felt like my entire world blew up. He never gave me a concrete explanation as to why he ended it with me and to this day I am still confused. I haven’t contacted him either since the break up. I don’t really know what I want at this point with him but I am really trying to be the best version of myself. Not for him, but for myself.

Brilliant and true. My ex is having grass is greener syndrome. And I know she’ll come back. No contact since the day of the breakup 2 weeks ago. It was an amazing relationship and she had nothing negative to say about how I treated her even then. I choose to work on myself and get happy on my own, and break my codependency. When she comes back realizing that the grass wasn’t greener, I’ll be able to decide if I’m willing to water that grass again.

This is incredible! Its scary how accurate this is and is EXACTLY what happened to me! My ex is younger "in her 20s" wed been messing w each other on and off for 2ys and I finally made it official. Two weeks in2 the relationship she completely changed and subsequently broke up w me for seemingly no reason. This is EXACTLY what happened to me. We were together for 6 and a half years and planning our wedding. He said the exact same things you said in this video. It's been the most painful experience I've ever gone through. I miss him a lot.
Same thing for me, girl left me after 7 years. We just moved on together.

@@TeKNiQ50 I moved on and realized that is breaking up was the best thing that could have happened. I didn’t know it at the time but he held me back so much and I was blinded by my rose colored glasses. I’m now engaged to the love of my life and am so much happier than I ever was with my ex :)

But at that point, I came to the realization that if someone truly loves you, it won’t take them 6 months to realize it and true love wouldn’t put you through all that heartache and pain. I spent so much time hurting over him, I was over it. I was so much happier and healthier without him in the long run.

This is exactly what happened to me. My ex boyfriend of 7 years dumped me a couple of days before Christmas because he was not 100% sure about me anymore. He gave me all the reasons mentioned in this video, even the "it's not you, it's me" cliche. Currently on NC for almost 2 weeks now. You just described my ex-husband's midlife crisis. He's 48 and his "soulmate" lol was 23. A year after the divorce was finalized he got tired of her and the "grass became greener" with me again. A cycle I'm trying so hard to break free from.

I'm going through exactly what you said. Everything was fine last year we started long distance then the summer came hurricane irma and maria devastated my island i was blessed that my home wasn't destroyed. We lost communication s for a month and a half but we manage with the little air signal though it dropped constantly. But hearing his voice made it worth while telling him I'm alive was fine with that. Then November came he got into a car accident the night before Thanksgiving. He didnt call me I found out on Instagram when I finally got some internet. He came out fine Thank God. The impact was on his side and the power pole on the highway was snapped in two. It was a miracle the truck was totaled. I felt horrible I couldn't be their for him. He sent a care package and love boxes from friends in the states. We were happy. The new year came and valentines day i expressed how proud I was of him publicly for being there when I needed him. I gave him gifts and cooked food for him all the time. I had a surprise visit set to see him in March. He sounded so happy and overjoyed. When I finally flown up thousands of miles to see him he made everything seem fine for the first two days. He was acting strange and I started asking questions he shouted at me and said in a coded way that he was breaking up with me. I was so confused and felt I was taken advantage of... I felt horrible. What killed me was he wanted me to still be there in his life after dropping that bomb.he had all kinds of dumb unlogical excuses. I was staying at his house in Jacksonville and my family was in Orlando there was no way out for me. He also said i wasnt suppose to know until he took me out to dinner Saturday cause I was leaving Sunday. So I grieved for the rest of the weekend internally. And plastered on the fakes smile ever. When I finally got back to Orlando I told my mom and sisters what happened they flipped. Later on I got so pissed I made it public to my fb friends it was over and how manipulated he turned things. He sent me a text message with more bs reasons and a ytvideo of Lauren hill telling me I don't know what love is. Long story short he blames me for hurting his feelings in the face book post all I said what he did was wrong. The shit was premeditated how the hell and I suppose to feel?! Then turns around and said that there would of been a potential future together but how I reacted was immature. When I flown back home I gave him a call crying asking for answers real ones stilll the same mess and he didn't want to come back. I started no contact right after that shit. I realized he only used me now he doesnt want me anymore, just a cast off. I started listening to your videos last week. It helped and changed my perspective of this whole thing he was fucked in the head not me.
I’m in my 40’s and this happened to me 6 weeks ago. I don’t think there is no age on the grass being greener on the other side syndrome. My ex has a pattern of dating people for about 8 months before she dumps them. I don’t think this pattern will stop. She is definitely a narcissist.

Exactly what happened to me. Weve been together for almost 8 years next year. She broke up with me on my birthday(a surprise I cant forget) 3 weeks ago and telling me things like "i cant love you 100% rn", "i dont see you in my future anymore", "im falling out of love". Such many excuses but no exact reason why and doesnt want to let me in to settle it. She also told me that im a good guy, no one would ever replace me in her life and she just need to find herself. Im in no contact rn, improving myself day by day. I should day they've just given us the opportunity to find other pasture where grass is greener.

If someone thinks they can find something better than you then you should let them go. Please don't take them back. And never go after it. That person cannot be trusted. Accept the pain and be strong. This way you will quickly get over it, you will become wiser and you will achieve much more in your life! You are the most valuable thing in your life! We had a great relationship, yes we had small problems but who doesn't, we made lots of great fun memories had tons of set routines, I threw him and I a birthday party together (something no-one has ever done for him) and he got too drunk felt up on a girl, something he was not proud about and 2 days later he suddenly needs to rethink his life, it's not me it's him, he's not sure if I'm the one now, he's not ready to commit. So now I'm in no contact, I think it's the best I can do. I love him very much this is so hard for me especially right before the holidays but I know I have to stay strong and continue to work on myself. I just hope he comes back to me! I pray everyday!

This is so true. My ex of 11 months broke up with me and didn’t want to work on us. She was interested in another guy. 3 weeks later she tells me this guy is beating her. He works at her job and stalks her. She called me crazy but I never did these things to her. Now she has a guy who’s actually crazy. She doesn’t want to call the cops and says she’ll handle it herself. Karma is a bitch but nobody deserves that. I want to know how I can help her.

This is also happening to me. My ex was totally out of character during the breakup with wanting "space and independence " as he was "unsure about our future" after 9 months. I implemented no contact . 3 weeks in NC he has reached out twice sending sad love songs in text messages , songs about pain and heartbreak. I'm ignoring him until he says something significant. He needs to try harder lol .Don't let this syndrome get to you guys. Trust yourselves if you know that you were a good partner to him or her. I know I was !!! So regret is definitely on him!!!

Im too going through a similar broken phase of bng dumped and we were close to getting married well after 3 fab yrs of relationship but slowly she started to drift towards a partying alcoholic smoking lifestyle, roaming wd new buds and also started showing shady behaviors bcz of her corporate sales environment and eventually she dumped me bcz she started craving that life more over us.. its tuff to live with all these memories but we all have to "KEEP MOVING FORWARD !" in whatever and with whatever means we can !
I'm currently going through this. I'm the dumpee and my boyfriend dumped me because of the reasons you explained in the video. He is 20 years old and we have been split up for over 3 weeks now. I am completing ignoring his texts and letting him get on with the grass is greener syndome. He claimed he doesn't love me anymore and just wants to do his own thing without me, and like you said, he has completely changed since the break up. I needed this. My ex and I got back in contact and was speaking continuously for a month. He then told me he still loves me and that his life was better when I was in it but he doesn't know if he wants to be with me or stay single and is very conflicted. I told him if you need to go and figure out what you want go ahead but don't expect me to wait for you. We were suppose to meet up after his exams but he hasn't got back to me. He wished me happy birthday last week and nothing else was said. He is distancing himself so I'm leaving him be and carrying on with my life and after almost 4 months of breaking up finally have the courage to talk to new guys and also working on myself!

It's been 5 weeks month since my break up, 3 years together (2.5 living together because it was an LDR first), engaged for 4 months. She left me because she wasn't focusing enough on herself, felt bound by the relationship a bit, plus she had depression issues. She said I was a wonderful person. After nearly 3 weeks of NC, I contacted her for business (apartment stuff). We met up to discuss furniture, but we caught up. She was happy to see I'm moving forward in my life. She told me she's doing more things now, though I didn't feel that I prevented her from doing these things, there's an implicit obligation in a relationship that maybe prevented her. She's taking new classes, new hobbies, staying later at work, going out more. She teared up about the circumstances, but I don't know if she felt guilty. I told her I'm really happy she's exploring things and exploring life to find what makes her happy.
It was all bittersweet. I'm still left with a gaping hole in my heart that still wants to work it out, but I have to move forward in my life.
At some point in her life she will regret it, that is what I think. You can't replace a good person. Never!

Tbh if my ex isn't willing to stay and work things out but have the mindset to leave even if I am good to her and been there at most of the time when we could...then idk if I want her back because she said "our final goodbye" we have planned out future and such (even name our future kids). We both have flaws but I always work out her flaws and let her be and I don't try to change her. Her reasons are so bs because she saying I prevent her from doing things or such but I still let her go places, dress up as how she want, etc. She even say she love another guy...like wow, I never cheated on her and I was being loyal as hell on my side avoiding other girls just so my ex could be the only one I have...guess it's all in the past now...

yes! i love this video. this explains why my breakup happened. my ex told me he wants to travel for work and be free without having to be tied down. this all happened after he got a new good paying job. we were together for four years, and we first loves/high school sweethearts. i understand that he wants to experience new things and new people and i do too, but if he thinks he can come crawling back to me after he realizes that he made a mistake - he has another thing coming. i deserve more after i did so much for him and he just dropped me with no remorse.

Wow this sounds almost exactly like my situation, it’s scary. My ex and I are both in our mid 20s, and were both still living with our parents when we were together. At about a year and a half into the relationship, we started talking about finally getting our own place. I could tell towards the end that he was going through some things, not happy with where he was at in life, not happy with his job, not happy with himself etc. which after watching this and other similar videos, may very well have been some kind of quarter life crisis, but other than that, at least to me at the time, there weren’t any other huge problems that we were dealing with. We were still even looking at places a week before the breakup. Then it happened. Seemed literally out of nowhere. It felt like the rug was yanked out from under me. And his reasons for it were all over the place and til this day still don’t make sense to me. But after watching these videos, I know it’s normal for them to not make sense. They don’t even know for sure themselves, they just know it doesn’t feel right.. and it sucks. You feel confused and like you weren’t good enough. It’s been two months since then and although I’m not 100% ready to move on, I’m in a much better place than I was on day one. I have time to try new things I’ve always wanted to try but never had the time when I was in a relationship. I have time to figure out my own life and what I want out of it and my relationships. And I’ve realized since then that there are definitely things I need to work on, not just physically, but in all aspects. Time is truly on your side. It’s hard, but you learn about yourself and you grow as a person so that if they ever do come back, you know that you can be the best that you can be. And if they don’t.. you’re ready for the next one that won’t walk away from you. No matter what happens, as long as you do the right things during this time, you’ll come out on top in the end. Stay strong.

But he always left me when life became hard. Never around when i needed him the most. Only around when life was great.

Going through this now and little by little she's learning how much she has lost. While I'm realizing the opposite. It was like stockholm's syndrome for me. I'm slowly recovering, realizing my worth, and she's in shambles because of it.

You learn them that they can go and come as they please, and later in life when maybe there's kids involved, it WILL happen again. Do yourself and your partner a favour, leave and learn from it. Otherwise it WILL happen again.

Our relationship was great, until one day, he decided to break up with me, he said he unsure about our relationship, he can’t see me in the future, he loves me but not in love with me, he want to find himself. We dated for a year, he said he can’t imagine this could be his rest of his life because he thinks there’s more options / and he met a option during we dating . So he wants to breakup because he doesn’t think this would working for good.
I’m still accepting this thing happen, it’s a new breakup. After all the amazing dates and wonderful intimacies we shared, it’s hard to accept all the sudden he just said he doesn’t want this anymore.

Almost 2 months since the breakup and about 6-7weeks into NC. Quite sure this is the reason why he broke up.
The first weeks were hard but I‘m happy again now 😁 it‘s his loss since he lost someone who truly loved him and i lost someone who tried to be someone he‘s not.
Funny thing is it's in 85% of what happened to me in a short term relationship.
It just came to my that me and my ex were thinking very seriously about buying apartment and that is when things started to fall apart. It was not so fast and took her some time to leave me, but she quite often mentioned things which i was lacking in her eyes, she took photos of herself, was pride that different men ask for her number and she told me that she has this need to check how it feels to have romance without commitment. Sounds quite similiar to standard "grass is greener".

This is exactly what happened to me except that my ex is 43. Mentally she is in her mid 20s. Product of an extremely sheltered Mormon housewife life with 6 kids and married at 18. Snapped out of her religious identity at 40 and is just now sowing her oats. So, moral of the story, it can happen at any age as long as they are mentally in the "quarter life crisis" stage.
